Hotel jest w dobrej lokalizacji. Był to tylko nocleg, ale pokój był czysty i wygodny. Śniadanie było bardzo dobre i miało wiele różnych do wyboru.

Tudo excelente e o staff super atencioso e simpático, no entanto, muito poucos funcionários nos bares/restaurantes do hotel para tantos hóspedes. O serviço era lento.

This hotel is using a former convent / army barrack site. Its definitely historical, therefore most items look ancient. However, toilet is spacious with bidet, bidet faucet & bathtub. Hot water needed some time to heat up during shower. NO toothbrush, paste, razor provided. Just hand wash and shower liquid soap, 2 paper cups and a hair dryer. Indeed, the towels are in need of replacement. NO kettle in the room as well. Small TV is new, channels include cartoonito, France24, TLC, AXN, Biggs, Euro News, syfy, TRT world, sports etc. There is a gated carpark for about 20 cars and its FOC. We just parked our car here and explored the city by foot. This historical building is interesting for kids to explore, kind of feel like staying in a Castle. There is NO lift for higher floor rooms and Swimming Pool. 1 122 The breakfast was alright. A coffee mqachine. Ham, cheese slice, eggs, mushrooms, fresh fruits, bread, viennoiserie psstry, pastel de nata. Room rate fluctuating too much. I will still consider to stay during off peak season.

Poderão melhorar algumas condições do edifício, bem como aspeto e cuidado com os equipamentos e serviço. Melhorar a limpeza do WC junto à piscina.

Stayed with family here in a second booked room in this hotel. Outdoor pool was so inviting as the temp reached 35 deg in early October. Staff were super efficient and the prices for a late check out were very reasonable. The hotel itself is located within the walks of the town with ample outdoor parking just outside. Highly recommend a stay here.

The hotel was excellent, the building being an old convent was architecturally interesting and suited its new purpose very well. The room with an impressive four poster bed was a good size and comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. My only slight criticism would be concerning the breakfast, which was somewhat limited and if arriving towards the end of the serving period there was little left to choose from  Overall I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay 

The hotel is located in a mountain city and only one gate (Portas de Ródão) can be accessed by car. After entering, please use the downhill passage on the left, and then proceed along the city wall. After passing the gate of Porta Este De Marvão, turn right along the city wall and continue uphill. After reaching the top of the slope, turn right into R. de Santiago Road. Note that when you see a small road on the right (ie R. 24 de Janeiro road), enter immediately (don’t miss it). Proceed for about 50 meters to see an eaves arch bridge, under the bridge is the hotel reception. Please note that there are only 2 parking spaces (coordinates 39.393559, -7.376018) opposite the front desk, this parking space does not need to go up and down stairs for luggage and luggage. However, if the parking is full, you can only park at the other 8 parking spaces (coordinates 39.393512, -7.375692) near the R. do Embique road down the front slope. This parking space needs to go up and down stairs for luggage. Therefore, it is recommended to check in early. If the parking space you are using is not ideal, it does not matter. When checking out, you can put your luggage on the side of the front desk first, then drive the car over to load your luggage, and then leave. Although the road will be blocked during luggage loading, everyone is like this, it does not matter, other vehicles will wait patiently. The mountain city is basically a one-way street, it is best to ask the front desk to leave the route, so as not to go the wrong way. The 24-hour front desk staff are enthusiastic, professional and satisfied. The internal facilities of the room conform to the website introduction and are comfortable. There are waiters to clean the room, take out the garbage, change the towels and make the bed every day. Satisfaction. The hot water in the shower is good and worry-free. There are no slippers in the room, please bring your own. The view and service of the hotel restaurant are very good. The breakfast is rich and high quality. Dinner is exquisite. There are two lounges, very comfortable, don’t forget to enjoy them. If you live in the building opposite the restaurant, you can go back and forth through the arch bridge, which is of great significance in rainy days. I tried the Casa do Povo restaurant in the city. The local crock-pot lamb (with pictures, easy to order) is very delicious and highly recommended. It is recommended that Marvão exit the Porta Este De Marvão city gate and go down the hill to the ancient Roman road of Portagem via the Convento de Nossa Senhora da Estrela. The trail takes about 2 hours. Most of the trails are shaded. It goes down the road, and the birds and flowers are scented. The front desk provides free trail maps to Portagem under the mountain, recommends local restaurants and provides the phone number of the taxi driver on the return journey. If you can’t get in touch, the Portagem restaurant waiters also have their own familiar taxi drivers (the return journey is about 20 Euros, acceptable), don’t worry. I tried Hotel Sever Rio e Restaurante Sever by the Portagem River. Only the tomato soup is delicious and generous, so I can recommend it.

Localização fantástica em frente ao Rio Sever. Localidade tranquila. Pequeno almoço bom e completo. Belo bolo caseiro.Quarto espaçoso.

Exceptional lodge inside a national nature reserve. Room is spacious and well maintained. Excellent view from the balcony. Breakfast is decent. Good for a retreat.
