One of the highlights is Sunday morning, when the area hosts a car-free day event. The streets become lively with people walking, exercising, and enjoying local activities, creating a cheerful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant is very nice with chilled ambience. The lobby is grand with good taste. The room is clean, a bit old though.

Our accommodation was impeccably prepared and afforded my wife, our child, and me a serene and comfortable retreat. The swimming pool offered an invigoratingly cool respite, while the breakfast spread was both sumptuous and artfully presented. I recently had a delightful stay at Hotel Tentrem in Semarang, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and their attentiveness truly enhanced our experience. The cleanliness of the rooms and restrooms was impressive, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. The hotel amenities, including the gym, were excellent and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for me was the delicious breakfast spread. The variety was fantastic, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I also want to give a special shoutout to Ibuk Elfi for her warm hospitality during breakfast. Her cheerful demeanor made our mornings even more enjoyable. As a coffee lover, I was particularly impressed by the skills of Mas Arafi, the barista. I thoroughly enjoyed the cappuccino, mocaccino, and café latte he prepared; each cup was a treat. His knowledge of coffee truly shines through in every sip. We had a nice experience staying at Grand Mercure Solo Baru! The location was perfect and reachable to all around the city. The room was really cozy. Cleanliness could be slightly improved as we could see signs of aging, including at the gym. But overall, we would come back!

An experience worth coming for and coming back to. The Gumaya serves as a reminder of what quality service can become when great products are handled by great people. The rooftop bar offers exquisite views, and friendly staff tend to your every need. A staple since the early 2000s for families and solo travelers alike, the Gumaya evolved into a quality offering in a sea of competition for the best 5 star in Semarang. Clean and spacious rooms with a good view either side, tasteful decor, and a comfortable overall experience. Breakfast was Lucious and plentiful, easy parking, and central location to explore Semarang plus the added taxi convenience makes it an all rounder

Niedawno zatrzymałem się w Alila Solo Hotel i moje ogólne wrażenia były po prostu OK. Udogodnienia były przyzwoite, a pokoje wystarczająco wygodne. Jednak moja wizyta została zepsuta przez złe doświadczenia z parkowaniem. Parking był zatłoczony i słabo zorganizowany, co prowadziło do nieprzyjemnych doświadczeń, gdy w hotelowych salach balowych odbywały się wydarzenia podczas mojego pobytu. Chociaż nie był to straszny pobyt, usprawnienia w zarządzaniu parkingiem z pewnością poprawiłyby wrażenia gości.

Overall service was excellent especially Mr Aviet, duty manager. I highlighted to him that there was no view at all in my room; the mirror was stained and the tap water splashing when turned on. He immediately came to my room and gave options for a change. He swapped my room on the same floor with a nice view on the second day for the rest of my stay.
