Summary of Experience
1.Check-In: The check-in desk was efficient and friendly.
2.Dining Experience: I stayed for 4 nights, enjoying 4 breakfasts, 2 buffet dinners, and 1 dinner at the Italian restaurant on the 20th floor. Unfortunately, the overall service did not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. At breakfast, coffee was not served despite ordering, and during the buffet dinner, I was asked to settle my bill within the first hour due to a crowded restaurant.
3.Room Amenities: The mini-fridge in my room was non-functional, and I chose not to request a replacement.
4.Pest Issues: I encountered mosquitoes in my room. After informing the front desk, anti-mosquito spray was applied.
5.Billing Confusion: My most significant issue occurred during my first meal at the Italian restaurant. After signing the bill with my room number, I received a call asking for credit card payment. Initially, I thought this was standard procedure. I requested the waiter to verify my guest status with the front desk, explaining my stay was registered with my passport. However, five minutes later, the waiter knocked on my door with a payment machine, insisting I settle the bill. This was both embarrassing and confusing, as I had already verified my status.
Despite my attempts to clarify, I felt pressured to pay after a long flight and a full day of meetings. When I contacted the front desk for clarity, I was told the issue was due to not providing a deposit, which I was never informed about at check-in. I emailed the hotel manager the following day but did not receive a response.
6. Check-out: I was incorrectly charged for mini-bar expenses, but the front desk ultimately waived the charges.
All over the experience was good. The hotel is nearer to the laboni and sugandha beach. So easily anyone can walk and reach the shore within 10 minutes.
All the Burmese shop are 5 minute walking distance and affordable than anywhere else.
Most of the known restaurants like al goni, handi, palongki ar nearer and we do not have any trouble to find out a place for dining.
We got a buffet breakfast for two morning of our stay and there are varieties in menus for two days so it became enjoyable as there is no significant repeatation. But if Desert item and fruit juice were available, it'be topnotch hospitality.
The swimming pool is just amazing and we had fun there. At a time I felt I was drowning in the pool don’t know how, the responsible person was running towards me for my scream and made me relaxed. Thanks to them.
We got a room for two bed for four people and everything was quite good.
But the thing I mention about the hotel is the cleanliness. As a 5 star hotel the management should be more cautious about cleanliness of room and washroom they serve us.
The common washroom in lobby are too odorous that no one can use it.
The washroom in the prior room was not so clean.
The room bed cover and comforter are not so clean as well.
If they look into this, the Hotel Cox Today will be the first choice ever.
Apart from this, this journey was too good.
Thanks to the hotel Cox today and trip.com to find me a good search.
I booked two rooms. Both room had bad smell coming from the toilet. Room service was very poor. Cannot maintain timely service. If commits 30 minutes, it may take 1 to 2 hours, even can forget to respond back to requests. Hotel staffs do not know the manners of 5 star hotel. Overall experience is not good.

Very Good
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiI recently stayed at Radisson Blu Chattogram and while the room itself was truly impressive—spacious, clean, and aesthetically pleasing—the overall experience left much to be desired.
The hotel's architecture and interior design are definitely its strong points. However, the service did not live up to the Radisson brand. Throughout our stay, staff were unhelpful and dismissive, often responding with, “We don’t have this,” or “You can do it yourself.” This was particularly disappointing when it came to basic requests like airport transfer. For such a large hotel, having so few cars available is simply inadequate and quite frustrating for guests.
Breakfast was another major letdown. It was, quite frankly, the worst I’ve encountered in all my hotel stays—limited variety, poorly executed dishes, and an overall lack of attention to quality. It was far from what one would expect from a hotel of this stature.
Radisson Blu Chattogram has the potential to offer a world-class experience, but right now, it feels more like Radisson Black. There's serious room for improvement, especially in staff training and food & beverage offerings.
SSoppsupuThe room decor was a bit dated, but the staff were excellent and the environment was lovely. The hotel boasts a variety of restaurants, including a burger fast-food joint, an Italian restaurant, an Indian restaurant, a buffet, and a Bengali seafood grill market, which was great. The airport shuttle service was a major plus. However, a small incident during my stay left me a bit perplexed. When I checked in the night before, I mentioned to the staff that I had a 7 AM tuk-tuk booked for a 'moon boat' tour the next morning and asked if breakfast started before then. The next morning, I woke up to find a hotel notice slipped under my door informing me that my dining had been upgraded to the Indian restaurant, and breakfast started at 8 AM. When I went down to the buffet restaurant, the manager on duty informed me I couldn't eat there and escorted me to the Indian restaurant. After I explained that I needed to leave by 7 AM, he reluctantly allowed me to eat in the main breakfast area, but only from the dessert section. Honestly, it's hard to describe how I felt about that experience.
