„We've an interconnecting room which is spacious and comfy. The location is excellent, offering easy access to the surrounding areas of Klang and just a short drive to ICity. The breakfast selection is varied, but the taste is mediocre. SSeng TatThe hotel is quite clean and nice. I booked for a night king bed room. The room is spacious and clean, quite nice. However, there is no plug point besides the bed, only have usb port where not all electrical charger is fit and cannot be used. For the toilet, the water draining system is bad, cannot drain water at all during showering. For the access card given, one cannot open the door. I went to reception and inform the issue, the receptionist checked and asked another staff to assist me to my room and help me open. We walked till my room and the card cannot open as well. The staff then told me is because of the lock has running out of battery, need another 10 minutes to go down and get physical key to open the door. He then brought the manager comes and she could open the door with her card. So eventually is the second access card problem. I not sure the problem is with the receptionist or the lock got problem. Not a pleasant experience to kee me waiting standing outside my room for them to sort the issue

SSoon KYOverall, the stay was good. The hotel has a great location and the rooms are spacious. The room decor is a bit dated, but the Wi-Fi was excellent. The hotel has an ice rink, which is a good option if you want to learn to ice skate. The breakfast was ordinary and nothing special.

JJeevandranChecked in on the 9th late afternoon and without a hassle, the room was on the 7th floor , side by side 2 x twin guestrooms which were comfortable and spacious that can fit up to 4 people per room. the stay for 3 days and 2 night were amazing and the bed was very comfortable and soft. The only issue was the air-conditioning was a bit hard to control, even after setting it at the lowest temperature, it took way longer to cool down the entire room and kept jumping up to normal room temperature. However, the location was convenient as I was able to move in and out of the hotel with ease. The parking had ample space at certain times but in the morning it was packed. Per exit with validation from the concierge was only RM3, only had to provide your room number or room key. Even though we didn't have any meals there, the options for breakfast were quite costly starting from RM75 for simple breakfast options. But overall , was happy with the room and space - would definitely stay there again if I have the choice.

AAnonymous UserTraveling with my child this time, I did a lot of research and finally chose Sunway Resort Hotel Kuala Lumpur. After experiencing it, I truly feel I made the right choice and wholeheartedly recommend it to all parents out there. This hotel is hailed by many as Malaysia's 'Atlantis' and is an excellent option for family trips. The hotel has a private walkway that directly connects to Sunway Pyramid Mall, making dining, drinking, and shopping incredibly convenient. The room experience was also fantastic. The room we stayed in, with our family of three, was spacious enough for everyone to move around comfortably without feeling cramped. The bedding was incredibly comfortable; after a day of playing hard outside, our child would just flop into bed and sleep soundly, ensuring plenty of rest. The hotel features a dedicated children's pool on the fifth floor, with an appropriate depth and fun facilities. All the staff were very warm and polite!

The front desk service was excellent, and the snacks and cookies were absolutely delicious! Overall, the environment is great with no unpleasant odors, and the view of the amusement park is perfect for photos. Both the room service and front desk staff were very helpful. It took me a while to find the bathroom curtain button – it was by the sink! Both the elderly and children will love it here! 🥳

While overall cleanliness is acceptable, the carpet does not feel particularly fresh and could benefit from deeper cleaning or refurbishment. I booked the same room category as a friend, but they were upgraded to The Club while I was not, which felt a little inconsistent in terms of guest experience. Breakfast was very crowded. Arriving around 9:00 AM, most of the food trays were already close to empty. The restaurant staff were proactive in clearing plates, but at times it felt a bit rushed—they repeatedly asked to clear dishes even while we were still eating.

MMd AshariWe’ve stayed here few times and every time it’s not a disappointment. Love the hotel rooms, breakfast spread the amenities, shopping and the convenience of having everything under one roof. The journey from airport to hotel and vise verse wasn’t that long. Took about ~40mins with good traffic. The grab price still manageable. The breakfast was immaculate. The rooms is spacious and the stuffs are helpfull. All in all LOVING IT.

GGuest UserPros: The room comes with a balcony, great for enjoying the views and taking sunset photos. There's a garden downstairs for walks, and the air is very fresh. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and bottled water are provided, and the cleaning staff are very efficient. The hallway is relatively quiet, and the service is excellent. There's a golf course, perfect for those who enjoy playing to pass the time. Cons: The overall room decor is a bit dated. There's no overhead light; lighting relies solely on floor lamps and bedside lamps. It feels a bit like an older 4-5 star hotel in China. The shower is in a bathtub, which can be slippery. Upon check-in, they requested a 250 MYR deposit plus a 'tourism tax' of 7 MYR per night. I've stayed in many hotels in Malaysia, and this is the first time I've been asked for a deposit and this particular tax. Tips: Bring your own slippers. The central air conditioning is very strong, so you might want to bring a long-sleeved pajama top. The front desk informed me that check-out takes 15 minutes (first time I've encountered such a long wait; I was a bit emotional during the interaction, but it ended up being processed in less than 5 minutes. Still, I recommend allocating sufficient time). I wouldn't specifically book this hotel again unless it was for convenience to UKM.
