The environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜. I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful. It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station. I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

Front desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

Wucheng Four Seasons Yijing Hotel (Yongsheng Shopping Plaza Branch) 9.1 The hotel package price was very affordable, so I saw a lot of senior tour groups. It's located near a residential area, and attractions like Guzicheng require a drive. There are many restaurants nearby. Pets stay free. However, Yongsheng Shopping Plaza is still about a 30-minute walk away. Location: Generally, it's near a residential area and a bit far from attractions (-0.7). Navigation was clear, and there's a convenient parking lot within the hotel grounds. Hygiene: The bedding was clean, and the floors were tidy. They also offer to clean the room after you've woken up, which is quite thoughtful. Service: The hotel front desk staff were very diligent. During check-in, they followed a standardized script and sent a detailed page of information via WeChat, including breakfast and Wi-Fi details. Their response time during my stay was also very fast. It would be even better if they could check reservation notes during check-in to provide the appropriate room type. However, the most annoying part of the service was receiving daily WeChat messages pressuring guests for 5-star reviews (-0.5). Facilities: They have smart home features and well-equipped energy-saving devices, as well as accessible facilities. However, the smart toilet only had an automatic flush function (-0.2). Also, there were no screens on the windows, so opening them for ventilation could let in mosquitoes and other insects (-0.3). Comfort: It has a budget hotel design. The room was a bit compact but generally clean. The soundproofing was a bit lacking (-0.2). Dining: Breakfast is provided, including a noodle station. They also offer a great late-night snack service. Bonus points: Late check-out available (+0.5). No room upgrade. Laundry room available (+0.5). Late-night snack service available (+0.5). Minus points: People occasionally smoked in the ground floor lobby and were not stopped (-0.5).

The room is beautiful, you've seen that already, but here's my genuine experience that I hope helps set your expectations. Overall, bare minimum service. There is no proper front desk reception, and I had to remind them to set up the butler group chat the day before arrival because there were no instructions. Upon arrival, the main door was locked. Someone eventually came and brought my luggage up to the room, and that was it. No friendly chats, no personal touch, no estate introduction or tour, no other instructions, just a few pre-set WeChat images. The butler is quite responsive on chat but often provides incomplete answers. Service at breakfast was cold. No one welcomes you when you walk in, and there was no proper introduction to what was available. There was only one staff member at breakfast. He eventually came over and asked which main dish I'd like. There was no mention of Western vs. Chinese options until I overheard someone else's order. Most of the time he was standing at the kitchen entrance using his phone loudly, which made it hard to get his attention. The loud phone noise made the experience quite unpleasant, as I was hoping for a relaxing, quiet breakfast. Food options are very limited for a solo traveller. I ordered ******* for every lunch and dinner. I was quite hungry in the late afternoon and looking forward to the savory snacks in the afternoon tea set. I ordered them to my room and was told the ”chef had a family emergency” and could not prepare the fries and popcorn chicken, though I later saw someone else having the complete set in the lobby. :/ I saw another review a few months back giving feedback that there was no floor mat near the hot tub area. Even though they always respond to negative reviews the same way, saying they will improve, the problem was unfortunately not fixed. You only have one floor mat at the shower area and have to remember to bring it across the room to the hot tub area, or you'll be dripping wet on a slippery floor when you exit the tub. Soundproofing is bad. There is a road right next to the room, and you can hear occasional cars passing by. During my stay, farmers were harvesting bamboo, and you could hear the loud truck engines (which sounded like excavators) and them talking loudly. Mad respect for farmers, just highlighting the downside of the location that you dont see in the nice photos. The whole experience was strange because it felt like other guests were there for photoshoot over an actual hotel stay experience. You could see beautifully dressed ladies posing at every corner of the estate. Nothing wrong with that, just not something I'm used to. The experience is not without positives. The room I stayed in 【云渌】 had an insanely beautiful view, which was what I came for. It directly faces the bamboo forest and mountains. On good days, you'll probably be able to see a nice sunset. The room was clean and had great, thoughtful amenities, including Le Labo toiletries, a small pack of laundry detergent, eye masks, earplugs, and a Dyson hairdryer, to name a few. I also loved the huge private balcony it came with. I was really looking forward to this stay, but coming from another 民宿 I absolutely enjoyed, the service here was a stark contrast. This place has so much potential if they could brush up on the professionalism of the service crew to match the aesthetic and pricetag. I sincerely wish them well and hope the service can be improved.

It's like living in a forest, with acorns constantly falling from the trees. The hotel is very clean, with virtually no mosquitoes. The room facilities are all excellent, especially the toilet flushing, which isn't too loud. Special praise goes to the hotel staff; their service was exceptionally good from check-in to check-out. They provided afternoon tea with fruit platters, nuts, and tea; offered ginger soup and ice packs if you had a cold; and promptly came to your room to help with any issues. The hotel only offers vegetarian food. I tried it once, and it was quite good and creative. Compared to the Black Pearl Hotel (averaging 1000 RMB per person), it's definitely not quite as good, but it's much better than other vegetarian restaurants in temples. Every ingredient was very fresh, although there were some issues, like the watermelon in the complimentary fruit platter being sweet and the blueberries being extremely sour. If you don't want vegetarian food, the surrounding farmhouses are a good option, offering fish, chicken, stir-fries, etc. I randomly picked a few and none were bad. The hotel also arranged various courses, including a healing class and Baduanjin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). Lying in a cabin surrounded by trees and feeling the breeze on a platform by the forest river was a truly therapeutic experience! I stayed for two days and there were still many courses I didn't get to try, so I'll make up for them next time! I'll consider bringing my parents next time.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Hangzhou. I didn't even realize it had a bathtub when I booked it; the hotel butler actually pointed it out to me. The room is very clean, and the decor is nice and quite unique. The hairdryer gets full marks, and the shower pressure is excellent. There are buses right outside, which makes getting to some places very convenient. The service is warm and professional. I'll definitely book here again next time I visit.

This hotel is a bit dated. The lobby features huge jade ornaments, the hallways are carpeted with thick rugs, and the rooms have crystal chandeliers. The suite was divided into two independent rooms, one bathroom, and two toilets. It was spacious with good soundproofing. The shower pressure was amazing, making for a very comfortable shower. However, the bed in the smaller bedroom was quite firm and the pillows were too low. Upon check-in, we received two lattes and a very simple welcome fruit platter, but no welcome gift. There's a viewing platform on the 10th floor with a side view of West Lake. Xinqiao is probably the tallest building near West Lake, so you can catch the sunset over the lake. Just remember to go about half an hour earlier than the written sunset time to catch it! Turning right out of the hotel, you'll find several Intime department stores connected, and a short walk further brings you to West Lake. It's super convenient for dining and shopping.

This guesthouse has so much character! The owner clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the design. The massive, floor-to-ceiling bookshelf instantly brings a sense of calm, which is especially welcome on a hot summer day. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, browse books, read, or simply have a moment of quiet reflection. Oh, and the owner even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, which was incredibly comfortable.

After comparing several hotels, I finally chose this one, and my stay confirmed that the location is indeed excellent! It's right next to District 2 and 3 of the Commercial City, and across the street, there are tons of eateries. There's also a convenience store right beside the hotel, making it super convenient for dining, staying, and shopping. The hotel is on a main road, so transportation is easily accessible, and it's very easy to catch a taxi. The room itself is spacious with a practical layout; you can even open your luggage without feeling cramped. The cleanliness was top-notch—desktops, wall corners, and bathroom edges were all spotless. The lighting was soft and pleasant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. It offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth it. A perfect stay without any unpleasant surprises, comfortable throughout. This hotel will be my first choice next time I visit Yiwu.
