„I caught the RV train from Helsinki, which was relaxing and a brilliant way to see the countryside. Arriving into Rovaniemi at 21:20, it was a short cab drive to the hotel,and with 24/7 reception checking was a breeze. Twin room 410 was well appointed, clean, and beds were comfortable; the room safe was easy to set and use. I appreciated the door chain for extra security and peaceful night sleep. Santas Hotel central location was excellent ,with the padestrian mall, shops, restaurants, and bars literally around the corner. Taxis could be found out front, and the santa/airport bus was only a short walk up the street. Though do pay attention to santa express pickup and drop-off times as they do not run that regularly. The buffet breakfast had something for everyone to enjoy! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel made my inner child smile.😊 There are many attractions, so be sure to give yourself enough time to experience everything. I will definitely choose to stay again next time I travel to Rovaniemi. Sha, Sydney, Australia. 🇦🇺”

„The room was lovely design however there hasn't floor heater. At first staff told me they wont charge on pet fee. After I check in they said they have to charge for pet fee 30 Euro! It is quite upset but i dont ruin the day. But the food was really nice I was love the line of buffet.”

„The staff was really amazing, very friendly. I wasn’t very impressed by the room. The heating was not fully working, there were no basic amenities like a kettle, or even drinking water. Biggest concern was cleanliness as I asked for cleaning on one occasion and beds were poorly made, sheets weren’t changed, the toilet wasn’t properly cleaned as there a piece of paper on the floor which was clearly visible, tissues weren’t restocked and also one of the over covers from the bed was removed and just chucked over the ironing board which was absolutely horrifying to see. Food at the hotel was good and restaurant staff were also very helpful.”

Even in the cold, I had one of the best swing rides of my life with the view of the lake. As someone from warm and sunny Singapore, this escape to the cold was a unique and unforgettable experience. The reception team at Apukka was top-notch, and they even had a room ready for me when I arrived slightly earlier than check-in time, which was a great relief after my long journey from Copenhagen. But it wasn't just the accommodations and the views that made my stay exceptional. I also had the pleasure of experiencing a thrilling husky ride and learning about how these incredible dogs are trained from puppies to their role as working animals. The passion and knowledge of the guides who led this adventure were truly remarkable. The 'Meet the Reindeer' session was a delightful educational experience. I gained a newfound appreciation for these magnificent creatures and learned so much about their role in the local culture and environment. The guides who accompanied us during the husky and reindeer experiences were nothing short of amazing. Their expertise and enthusiasm added a whole new dimension to the trip. Apukka Resort delivered a magical and unforgettable experience. The comfortable bed, the regular appearance of the Northern Lights, the enriching encounters with huskies and reindeer, and the exceptional guides all contributed to making this trip one of the best times of my life. „The place is absolutely beautiful, only few steps from Ounasvaara Ski Resort. The Chalet was really good and cosy with amazing views from the windows and balcony. Our private Chalet had a second bedroom which we didn’t use as my daughter and myself preferred the first floor. We loved having our own sauna in the bathroom, great addition to relax and we enjoyed it sooo much! Breakfast was excellent with great selection, we loved the waffle maker! Staff were all helpful and pleasant. Location is excellent, not far from the airport, city centre, and Santa Claus Village. Overall, perfect Chalet, we would definitely recommend staying here, we had a great time!”
