4-Star hotele w: Leiria District, Portugal

Refeicoes só fizemos o pequeno almoço e estava bom. Ja la tinha estado á uns bons anos e embora tenham feito uma reforma, achei que o quarto merecia uma reforma maior. O quarto onde ficamos era demasiado pequeno. O SPA continua tambem igual ao que tinhamos experimentado á anos atras e a massagem foi boa. O staff muito simpatico

This hotel has become well known for being a book lovers haven. The hotel itself is super interesting and each room is different. My friend and I each stayed in different parts of the hotel and had very different looking and feeing rooms. Which means each time you stay there; there could be a new discovery. The hallways and corridors are lined with books. Even if you don't stay here I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant. The food was amazing every time. The only thing I would recommend if this hotel needs more cozy reading areas. They have a couple but they are not the most comfortable places to sit; although they are definitely aesthetically pleasing and fit the vibe of the hotel's history. We spent a lot of time out in the courtyard reading; there's a great spot under a large tree with canvas chairs.

The hotel is just inside the walled city, which is easily reached through a small door opening on the wall. The room we were given was large, clean and had all the amenities you needed. The receptionist was also very friendly and informative, providing us with great dinner suggestions, which were really delicious. The only thing you have to lug your luggage from the outside wall to the hotel which we were warned about. And our room was just above the loudspeaker from the attached restaurant, which fortunately shuts at 10.30pm. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

I really like the Batala Villa Hotel. At this time, there are many choices for the surrounding small towns when booking the hotel. Many parties consider choosing the Batala Villa Hotel due to location and star standards. I am very fortunate to make this choice. The hotel is extremely clean, the lobby is classically beautiful, the room bedding is exquisite, and the breakfast is rich. There are several very good Portuguese and Mediterranean restaurants around the hotel, walking distance from Batala Abbey. The hotel's parking lot is large, and self-driving cars can be parked in the hotel's parking lot when visiting the monastery.

I couldn't have had a better experience, the service was top tier even before checking in, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was spotless, the spa was great. The breakfast was definitely amazing, from the delicious fruit to the staff readiness to prepare food in case you had any special requests os allergies. If you're considering this hotel for your stay in Batalha, I really believe this is the best option. I know I'll be staying there when I go back to Batalha or anywhere around.

Super clean and amazing view. We had a room with ocean view and the room was quite nice and clean. All staff super nice and helpful. The restaurant has a nice menu and the breakfast has a lot of variety and all very fresh. Staff from restaurant was also super nice. The bar also has some snack/food choices and the view is great. It is not walking distance from Nazare, but if you have a car is no problem. I definitely recommend it, very good quality price.

The hotel parking lot is very small (only 7-8 parking spaces on the roadside, coordinates 39.363078, -9.156986), parking is difficult. Please contact the hotel before departure to confirm the route to the city, so as not to catch it. For our stay in April 2019, only the Porta do Vale ou Senhora da Graça gate can enter the city, then turn right, follow the R. do Cel. Pacheco road to the top and then turn right, continue for 50 meters until There is a parking space under the castle. The front desk is in the garden at the end of the road. There are signs that can't go wrong. When leaving the city, first return to the entrance of Porta do Vale ou Senhora da Graça, then turn right (Graça gate can only enter the city, can not leave the city), south of the city wall all the way to the Portal de Óbidos gate (the gate Can only go out of town, can not enter the city), and then out of the city. There may be many steps from the parking space to the hotel room. It is recommended that older or infirm people arrange the front desk baggage helper (please pay the appropriate tip. For reference, if we have two large luggage, we will pay a 5 Euro tip). The 24-hour front desk staff is warm, professional and satisfied. The interior facilities of the room are in line with the website description and are comfortable. Satisfied with the waiter cleaning, emptying the trash, changing towels and making the bed in the daily room. The shower hot water is very good, no worries. No slippers in the room, please bring your own. The hotel restaurant view and service are very good. Rich breakfast and high quality. Beautiful dinner. The lounge is very comfortable and don't forget to enjoy it. There is a hidden door in the restaurant that leads directly to the top of the castle, so you can climb the high view and not miss it. Before the arrival of the early morning tide of Obidus and the retreat of the evening crowd, the light is soft, quiet and full of the original taste of the ancient city, which is worthy of sweeping the street. The inner city is not big, there are only three main streets in the north-south direction, and it takes only 1-1.5 hours to walk around.

Quarto confortável, com um frigorífico bem abastecido de bebidas que são em conta, apesar de não ter conseguido pôr o ar condicionado a funcionar. Atendimento simpático. Acho o preço/noite um bocado puxado para o tipo de alojamento/localização, mas de uma maneira geral gostei.

We stopped for one night on our way from Lisbon to Porto. Host at front desk was very gracious permitting us to leave our car in the rented overnight garage parking ($10 eur/day) well after check out so we could explore the area before heading off to Porto.
