The hotel's location is great, with a snack street and a local market right downstairs. It's also very close to Qingyun Market and MixC, making transportation convenient! The hotel facilities are complete, but the sealant in the bathroom was a bit moldy, and the soundproofing wasn't great – we could clearly hear children playing in the hallway late at night.

The hotel's location is excellent, right inside the East Gate. If you get tired from sightseeing, you can simply take the internal scenic area bus back to the hotel. We encountered heavy rain at noon, so we returned to the hotel, took a nap, and then continued our tour. Exploring from the East Gate to the West Gate was no problem and not too tiring, thankfully we listened to the hotel's front desk advice. That way, we didn't waste the park's prime location by queuing at the West Gate. The hotel facilities are quite new, and the restaurant is good too. There's also free laundry and drying. The hotel's vehicles are very convenient. I highly recommend this place for families with children who want to avoid getting too tired.

Whenever I have a short business trip to Guiyang, I always stay at this Holiday Inn for my layover. The shuttle bus schedule is well-arranged, making it very convenient to get to the airport and eliminating the anxiety of rushing for my flight. The room layout is simple and practical, with a spacious desk and stable internet. It's quiet at night, allowing me to focus on work without disturbance. Front desk staff, Iven, provided efficient service, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The breakfast selection is comprehensive, and the Guizhou-style sour soup noodles are authentic. It's perfect for a quick meal before heading to the airport, making it a hassle-free choice for business travelers.

The room was nice. Service: Very good, they even helped prepare simple food for my child, which was very convenient when traveling with kids. Environment: Excellent. The housekeeper was great, they upgraded us to a family room for free. They also helped with our luggage and were quick to respond to any issues. There are toys like water guns available for kids to borrow and play with at Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. They also have a dryer and laundry room. Breakfast was light and tasty. My child loved the wooden rocking horse. There's also chess, a tea room, and a guqin or guzheng (I'm not sure which, but it was nice). The light wood decor gives a very comfortable feel.

Environment: There's an underground parking lot, remember to register your license plate at the front desk. It's very close to Jiaxiu Tower, about a 7-minute walk. Facilities: The bed in the room was decent. The hotel is a bit old, opened in 2007. The showerhead and water pressure were fine. However, the window had no handle and could be pushed open. Since our room faced the street, the window couldn't be closed properly, so it was a bit noisy. Even when closed, the single-pane glass didn't provide good sound insulation. The door lock was also broken and couldn't be deadbolted. The outer doorknob was loose, which makes me think the management isn't great. Don't they inspect and fix things promptly? Breakfast was quite good, with a rich variety and decent taste. Service: The hotel front desk seemed to be misleading guests. However, the hotel's room rates are also a bit strange. The difference between a deluxe twin room and an executive deluxe twin room is that the executive deluxe twin room includes an extra afternoon tea... The hotel clearly has some newly renovated rooms and some older ones, but they don't use this distinction for pricing... Who would pay several hundred more just for your afternoon tea? I don't understand.

Hotel is in a perfect location to go Fangjinshan. Just cross the river and you are at entrance. The service is very good. I injured myself outside and they been very helpful with wheelchair and icecubes. The hotel also let us extend one more night because of my injury. Breakfast is just acceptable. View from room is beautiful. But can see the hotel is a bit old…Overall good stay!

The hotel's hardware is excellent, but its service and management get a zero. We checked in after 4 PM, and the room wasn't even ready yet. After it was finally cleaned, I walked in to find the previous guest's socks still sitting on the bedside table, as shown in picture one. It made me seriously doubt if they even cleaned it properly. The hotel's swimming pool is an Instagram hotspot, but because it's outsourced, the actual experience was a zero. There are no lockers! The entire changing room is as small as shown in picture two – that's it! The floor was covered in water and trash, and no one was cleaning it. There were no towels unless you paid 10 yuan for a disposable one, and no slippers unless you paid another 12 yuan. The breakfast was terrible, with very few options and no local specialties. Compared to other state guesthouses like the Wuxi Taihu Hotel, Nanjing Dongjiao Guesthouse, or Wuhan Donghu Hotel, the breakfast here was basically on par with a county government guesthouse. All in all, it's absolutely not worth the price. Booking the Zhijin Hotel was definitely the biggest regret of my Guizhou trip.

The hotel room was clean and well-maintained, with excellent facilities. The breakfast was plentiful, and the location offered convenient access to various attractions like Wenchang Pavilion, Jiaxiu Tower, Pen Shui Chi, Qingyun Market, and Qianling Mountain Park. The hotel staff were professional, incredibly warm, and courteous. Upon arrival, they upgraded us to a family room. When we checked out, we were rushing for our flight and accidentally left my glasses in the room. Luckily, the hotel staff promptly contacted us and even couriered the glasses to us that very afternoon, allowing us to use them without delay. A huge thank you to them! 🙏🙏🙏

The breakfast was truly disappointing. I booked this place specifically because breakfast started at 7 AM, hoping to eat quickly and head to Maling River Canyon. However, when I arrived at 7 AM, all they had were some fruits and cold dishes. The coffee machine was being cleaned, and none of the hot food was ready. I asked a staff member to cook some rice noodles, but they told me to wait twice, suggesting I eat something else first, claiming everyone was busy. I asked them what I was supposed to eat when there was nothing available, and only then did someone reluctantly come to cook the rice noodles.

The greatest strength of this hotel is undoubtedly its staff. Despite language barriers, everyone we encountered was friendly, patient and genuinely eager to help. A special mention must go to the hotel manager, who went far beyond what could reasonably be expected. When we were struggling with transport arrangements, he personally offered assistance and ultimately drove us to the train station himself. Only afterwards did we discover that he was actually the hotel manager, not a driver. He refused any payment and demonstrated a level of hospitality and generosity that left a lasting impression on our family. The staff also helped us order food delivery using local apps that were difficult for us as foreign visitors to navigate, communicating through translation apps whenever necessary. The hotel is conveniently located beside the Olympic Sports Centre, which was ideal for our visit to the Asian Gymnastics Championships. The rooms were spacious and clean. However, there were several aspects of the stay that prevented it from feeling truly comfortable. The surrounding area felt unusually quiet, with many restaurants and commercial spaces appearing closed, giving parts of the district a somewhat deserted atmosphere. Dining options were limited, and finding lunch or dinner nearby was often challenging. The rooms, while large, had relatively small windows, which meant there was not much natural light. The air conditioning sometimes struggled to keep the room as cool as we would have liked, and the hot water supply was inconsistent. The beds were extremely firm, and each guest was provided with only one fairly hard pillow. Some travellers may appreciate a very firm mattress, but we found it a little uncomfortable for a longer stay. Also, we were only provided with 2 bath towels even though there were 3 of us sharing a room. Overall, this is a hotel with exceptional staff and a convenient location for events at the Sports Centre. While the accommodation itself fell short of our expectations in several areas, the kindness and professionalism of the staff left us with positive memories of our visit.
