Hotel jest czysty i ładny, w dobrej lokalizacji. Pokoje są mniejsze, ale odkąd byłem sam, nie było to dla mnie problemem. Hotel jest 2 minuty od dworca monorail i 5 minut od głównej stacji autobusowej Naha. Dodatkową zaletą hotelu jest sklep Donki na parterze, który jest otwarty do 3:00, więc zawsze możesz kupić coś, jeśli będziesz tego potrzebował. Pokoje mają pranie i suszarkę, która jest również bardzo wygodna dla dłuższych pobytów.

We only stayed 1 night, mid-oct, so the experience is limited. It was spacious. Facilities seemed new. The shower had good pressure and temperature control. Staff were friendly and could speak English. Helped us with managing the parking of the car without zero issues. The location is great, right smack in the middle of the shopping street of Naha. Would definitely return!

Pokój o przyzwoitych rozmiarach. Personel był bardzo gościnny i przyjazny. To dobre miejsce na nocleg, jeśli wypożyczyłeś własny samochód. Parking kosztuje 1700 jenów za dobę. W lobby znajduje się Familymart i sklep z pamiątkami, więc ogólnie jest to wygodne miejsce! Nie miałem okazji naprawdę skorzystać z udogodnień, ponieważ większość dni spędzam poza domem, ale polecam za tę cenę!

Our check-in date happened to coincide with a typhoon in Okinawa. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful; despite the strong winds and heavy rain at the front entrance, they still managed to unload our luggage from the car and arranged for us to check in early. We were initially worried about parking safety at the pier, but the parking area inside the pier was actually very safe. Although it cost 2000 yen, which was a bit pricey, there was a semi-open walkway connecting to the hotel, so you wouldn't get wet in the rain unless it was a typhoon. The newly opened hotel was even more beautiful in person than in the renderings. While the weather wasn't as expected, we still enjoyed soaking in the clean and modern public bath, grabbing snacks at the Lawson shopping mall downstairs, taking a nap, and enjoying a delicious cocktail and a high-quality dinner at the hotel restaurant. We booked a bayside twin room with a fantastic view and extremely comfortable bedding. The spacious bedroom had a large sofa and a huge TV, but the bathroom and washbasin were a bit cramped. However, since we had access to the large public bath, it was all quite comfortable. The hotel's location is convenient for those driving, with a fish market and supermarket nearby. The pier for outlying islands is right downstairs; many popular island snorkeling and diving destinations depart from this pier. The hotel also offers several summer water sports packages. For those driving or without a car, you can consider taking a boat from another pier to the north to avoid traffic jams. In terms of location, it's convenient for those driving or travelers wanting to visit outlying islands. It's close to the city center but has a resort-like feel. It's over 15 minutes' walk to Kokusai Street, and the monorail isn't close either. If you want to shop on Kokusai Street, book a hotel on Kokusai Street. However, there seems to be a bus to the airport at the front entrance. Overall, the accommodation was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and if the price is reasonable, I would definitely consider staying a few nights next time to plan a trip to the outlying islands.

Podczas mojej wizyty pod koniec czerwca w hotelu było dość tłoczno. Na schodach przed lobby siedział jeden słynny kot, co dla wielu stanowiło atrakcję. Hotel położony jest bardzo blisko stacji metra, w odległości spaceru od sklepu spożywczego, Daiso, a dalej znajduje się główna ulica handlowa. Pokoje są dość małe, podobnie jak łazienka z prysznicem. Ogólnie super. W pokojach jest wiele gniazdek, co było dla nas wygodne.

Wow! From the moment you step into this hotel it is beautiful. The location is literally across the road from the overground rail and you can walk to a lot of places from here too. The room is smaller than the pictures make them look, but they were still bigger than other Japan hotels we have stayed in. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. I 100% recommend and would stay here again.

Dostępny jest duży parking. Hotel jest nieco oddalony od centrum miasta. Samochodem dojedziesz w zaledwie 10 minut lub krócej. Bardzo czysto i wygodnie. Nawilżacz powietrza w pokoju sprawdza się idealnie zimą. Personel biegle posługuje się językiem angielskim.

Overall speaking, this hotel is value for money if choosing to stay in Onna Village. The ocean view is spectacular. We enjoyed it so much especially on the last day of our trip. We eventually had the blue sky and white clouds. The room is very spacious with a nice balcony! That's most precious for our holiday. Since it was early Nov, the outdoor pool was closed. We used the indoor pool which comes with a outdoor jacuzzi. That's so lovely. Regrettably, the indoor pool was not available to use until after 9:00am in the morning, that was so inconvenient for hotel guests. We normally can't swim after having a nice breakfast. There is an airport limousine at the main entrance of the hotel, that is very convenient for us because the hotel is located on the hill slope. We did not drive. So, we chose to book the limousine bus at the hotel concierge to save us time and energy to walk downhill to take the city bus after we checked out. Although it cost 5000 yens for the BBQ dinner, the variety of food is good. So, we were quite happy with the money spent on it. The breakfast buffet also provided a good selection of food especially a good selection of cooked food with local veggies as ingredients. It was worth spending HK$140 for each of us.

Unfortunately the room wasn’t clean: hairs on the beds and hairs in the shower. (See picture) Location is not super close to the main attractions. 10 minutes walking to the mononrail. 20 minutes to the min nightlife street. Breakfast is good. Pool is fine but small.

I even turned it into a mini photo studio and captured some beautiful family portraits of my wife and our 3-month-old baby. My wife was over the moon with the results! 🍳 Breakfast That Delights Every Palate The breakfast spread was phenomenal—offering both Western and Japanese options, all bursting with flavor. The cheese selection and homemade yogurt with honey were standouts. Don’t miss them! 📍 Prime Location Just a minute’s walk from Kokusai-dori (国際通り), the hotel is perfectly located for last-minute shopping or grabbing essentials. Super convenient and central! 🍽️ Vibrant Evenings As the nearby streets settle into a peaceful hush and most restaurants wind down with only a handful of diners, the lobby restaurants at Southwest Grand Hotel remain buzzing with energy. The lively atmosphere, filled with cheerful faces and clinking glasses, speaks volumes about the quality and charm of the hotel’s dining experience. 💭 Still Dreaming About It Overall, our experience at Southwest Grand Hotel was truly delightful. Even now—almost a month later—I can still recall every moment with vivid clarity. If it weren’t for the limited parking, I’d confidently call it Michelin-worthy! This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again on our next visit to Okinawa!
