„Had a quite pleasant stay here. The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. I had a few parcels that could only be delivered to the parcel hub, and the owner even fetched us there to pick them up — really appreciate the extra effort! The staff were also very kind. We accidentally ate someone else’s breakfast, but instead of scolding us, they just smiled and prepared a new set for us. The hotel has a nice sunset view, and it’s very convenient to take a bus right outside the hotel to get to 崂山风景区. Overall, a comfortable and warm stay. Would definitely recommend! 🌅🚌”

„Very clean. Staff were nice. The only pool that had water was the ~1.5m pool, but it’s location was perfect (shaded) for afternoon swims. Pool has floodlights to allow for night swimming, as well, which is nice. Kids enjoyed the indoor children’s soft play area. Location is pretty far from major urban areas, but this is to be expected for a country club; there are shops within walking distance to purchase food / snacks (also a shop inside the hotel). Rooms were clean, nice balcony. Our family had a nice time.”

„Hotel is excellent, sea view room was amazing and view was heavenly . The gessi bathroom fixtures were a great touch as well, I personally love laminar flow sinks. The only flaws are 1. The location of the lobby, it’s up a ramp next to traffic and gets really ******* cold in the winter 2. There are no stop lights to cross the road to the beach, it’s really scary to cross when busy. 3. You can only enter on the sea side entrance, the other entrances are for residents only and you can’t access the hotel”

„過年來的，訂了兩天兩間房，年三十和初一連住，三十人還不多，初一開始明顯的人比較多了。和父母一塊入住，泡了温泉，室內室外的都挺好的，房間還給做了升級，環境設施衞生乾淨，很不錯的酒店。 飲食方面，年三十包括初一中午衹能點餐，還好可以存菜，吃不完也沒有浪費下頓繼續吃，白菜水餃好吃，韭菜的比較難吃。初一晚上開自助了，菜品中規中矩吧衹能説是。酒店住宿不錯，吃的差一點。”

The hotel boasts a grand architectural design and numerous rooms, reflecting the style of an established star-rated hotel. Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable musty smell. However, the mattress was very thick and incredibly comfortable to sleep on. We ran out of tissues in the room, but the housekeeper promptly brought some when we requested them. There were no disposable bath liners for the bathtub, and they weren't available for purchase, which is an area where service could definitely be improved. Given its large scale, the hotel could consider offering childcare services similar to Club Med. A kids' play area with soft play structures, slides, and a ball pit would be a great addition, allowing parents to relax. There was no buffet available. With such a large property, inter-departmental communication seems to be an issue. The information provided by the housekeeper for the 1928 Beer Bar's dining options was incorrect. After checking out, the housekeeper asked for a good review. I provided some suggestions, but the housekeeper, 'Dabaitu' (Big White Rabbit), never replied. It feels like the service in northern China is often a 'do-it-because-my-boss-told-me-to' mentality, and any extra requests from guests are seen as an inconvenience. I really liked the breakfast buffet where many of the attendants were older, creating a very harmonious atmosphere, like being cared for by parents while away from home. The breakfast selection was extensive. There are two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor. Cat petting costs 19.9 for children and 29.9 for adults, with single entry and unlimited time. Feeding animals costs 10 yuan, which includes one portion of feed. **However, if you write a good review for 1 yuan, you get fewer carrots than the 10 yuan portion. The animals seemed a bit pathetic, with the little horse constantly kicking the wire fence.** There are two swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor. The buffet at the 1928 Beer Bar is more Western-style. Many people might not be used to it. We tried it, and the quality of the desserts was excellent! There's a beach right behind the hotel, with some rocks, but not too many. You can go tide pooling in the early morning and at night. It's too hot during the day due to strong sun, and there isn't much seafood to find then either. The package included access to the Haiquanwan Hot Springs, but I must mention: it was dirty. There were no tissues or disposable combs in the hair-drying area (only a few scattered combs for everyone to share). With this level of service, I won't be returning. The hotel's location is indeed a bit remote, making it suitable for self-driving. There's a Shandong University cafeteria and museum nearby, which I'd give five stars!

The room was very spacious, and we booked one with a large bathtub, which our kids absolutely loved. The hotel has direct elevator access to the hot springs, which was incredibly convenient. The hot springs area is huge, with a kids' playground and even a children's water park. Highly recommended! It would have been even better if the room had baby bathrobes and slippers ready.

The hotel room was very nice and the bed was comfortable and not too firm. The staff left bananas and nectarines in a glass bowl in the room. That was a thoughtful gesture and helpful after returning from a long soak in the hotsprings. The indoor and outdoor springs were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay. The location was a bit far from the train station and the center of Jimo. That is my only negative comment.

A perfect trip! From the moment I arrived, I was stunned by the view. Sitting in the bathtub or lying in bed, gazing at the sea and listening to music, my soul felt completely purified. The croissants for breakfast were delicious, and from the window, I could see so many interesting things happening outside – like couples taking wedding photos, which made me feel surrounded by happiness. Before sunset, you can catch the most beautiful evening glow from here. It's so pleasant and comfortable. My nearly three-day trip left me lingering, I really loved this guesthouse!

probably best hotel in the local. Excellent complimentary breakfast in Chinese style, excellent swimming pool for families！very close to a local market (around 5 min walking ) - great to learn about local culture. something that needs to be improved: 1) some guests are smoking inside the hotel including lobby and restaurant - my family is sensitive to the smell but no other choices. A common problem very challenging for all hotels in China. 2) a side table between two beds has very sharp corners - when kids play around it, may get hurt 3) hotel may not offer match in the hotel - it is kind of encouraging people smoking inside the room 4) there is sign reading “ no smoking in the bed”. It indicates that it is ok to smoke as long as not in the bed. 5) breakfast is great during weekdays and “restricted supply” during weekends when a big tour group is there. 6） first time I know, a 4-star hotel does not have air conditioning (AC) in May, even it is 30 Celsius outside. This hotel will open AC probably in June.

The room was spacious, the environment was lovely, and the facilities were complete. It was a very comfortable stay, and it was perfect for taking photos! I could see the rolling waves right from my bed and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean tide at night; it was incredibly healing. I enjoyed letting my mind wander with the sea breeze, spending a leisurely time by the ocean~

The room was clean and tidy, and provided a large bottle of water, fruit platter, yogurt, and cookies. There was also a small tent, plush toys, building blocks, and a rocking horse, which the children loved. The breakfast was plentiful, and the hot spring was fantastic. The butler was very responsible, handling everything from booking, check-in, and check-out perfectly; their service deserves a thumbs up! At check-out, both kids received a small gift, which made them very happy. A delightful day; we'll definitely come back for a vacation again.

The resort offers a stunning view and beautiful natural surroundings. However, there were a few challenges, especially for international travelers. Pre-arrival information was limited, and important details like the need to register vehicles in advance to enter the scenic area were not clearly stated on the website. I only learned about this by messaging the hotel via WeChat, which may not be accessible to all foreign guests. While the location was excellent, room maintenance could be improved for the price. The pool tub was not well maintained. As the resort is set in nature, it’s also worth noting that insects may be present in the room or bed. Overall, a scenic stay, but more proactive communication and better upkeep would enhance the experience, particularly for foreign visitors.

I arrived at the hotel at 12:30 PM, but no rooms were available. The front desk said they would call me once a room was ready. The twin beds were a bit small; you have to be careful not to fall off when turning over.
