The end of April meant a pleasant stay at the Kaliakra Beach Hotel. The cozy room, very clean, with access to tea or coffee in the room. The services were of good quality, both in terms of solving the requests at the reception and at the dining room, in the Lobby. I appreciated the care of the staff in Albena to arrange the green spaces with multicolored flowers, to decorate them with brightly colored models of painted eggs and bunnies. So were the baskets with red eggs and cake, offered by the girls in national costume on the first day of Easter, the young people in costume of the bunnies who took pictures with the guests. The tables were diverse and enriched, the head of the room taking care to permanently replace the empty trays. Even the weather kept with us - a smiling sun for the beach for those interested.

The closest bus stop is 200 metres away, while the Varna Airport can be reached within a 30-minute drive.

Location: in the central pedestrian area. Less than 10mins walk to the beach. Checkin and checkout were fast. Reception speaks EN. Room: twin beds which you can bring together. King beds also available but not in all rooms. Mini bar available. Toiletries available (nice ones) and hair dryer. A/C available. Breakfast: international, varied. For sure you can find something you'd like. Served on the top floor (nice view). Ground area was in rennovation.

The room was nice, lots of space in the junior suite with a large bathroom. We had the pool to ourselves each time we used it but I'm not sure how full the hotel was when we there so couldn't say whether this was normal or not. There are certainly some improvements that can be made which would have made the stay more enjoyable and comfortable. Firstly, reception staff could be more friendly and professional. Secondly, the breakfast buffet needs a little more variety and the hot food needs to be hotter. Nobody wants cold scrambled eggs. Lastly, and this was our main gripe, the room was too hot. It was 26 C minimum which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. The aircon didn't work and after a call to reception we were told it was switched off due to it being off season. This would have been fine if we could open the windows in the room (like we did at other hotels on our trip) but you can't. There was no way to cool it down to a more comfortable level. In summary, it's a nice hotel that needs some improvements making. I wouldn't say it was a 5 star hotel but it could be.

The International Hotel ****** is highly recommended. I spent 6 days by myself in a room with a park view and had an amazing stay. The hotel is very clean, well-managed and well-located next to the beach. The staff is very friendly. Regardless to your passion to ******, you'll find the hotel well-suited for your vacation. The infinity pool is gorgeous and gym is well-equipped. I literally have no complaints.
