"I stayed in Hikmet's House while on a riding holiday in Cappadocia. The hotel is clean and comfortable, beautifully designed to reflect its heritage in the stone town. There are some flights of stairs to climb to reach the breakfast room on top. Breakfast was delicious and ample. Coffee, tea and other drinks are available throughout the day in a comfortable terrace room. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is within an easy walk to the center of the busy town, close to many restaurants, cafés and shops. The Red River runs nearby, providing a place for a pleasant riverside stroll."

"Lovely traditional hotel with cave style rooms and authentic decor but unfortunately it was out of the way in Avanos which meant we had to take a 20 minute taxi to get into Goreme for any nightlife!! Breakfast was Turkish style which was not to my taste but was well presented! Unfortunately the waitresses were unable to communicate in English so it was difficult to request anything! The coffee on offer was only filter coffee which was awful so we drank Turkish tea! The front desk staff were helpful and actually upgraded us as the hotel was empty! It was a lovely hotel but I would definitely have preferred to stay closer to the tourist area of Goreme where I could see the balloons flying overhead and where I would be able to walk to a restaurant to eat in the evening!"

They have their own organic garden in hotel premises! 2. My partner planned a surprise with Irem , she is absolutely wonderful. Made my birthday eve unforgettable. She arranged cake, table setting decor and champagne 🥂! She arranged everything just a day as per my partner’s words! 3. It is a very popular hotel for weddings! Surprised us !! We witnessed the entire turkish wedding from the garden. It was wonderful experience. Loved the music ! 4. They make their own wines and jams. 5. The garden is filled with 🍇 wines, apples and pears. So beautiful ! 6. Apart from that, staff doesn’t speak english. Just the reception guy and Irem speak english well ! "

"We loved the position of this hotel - right on the doorstep of the magnificent ancient city but out of the tourist path. It was delightful to wander through the ruins on our own and feel the history there without the crowds of the other towns. Our room was clean and beautifully presented and Mutti and his collegues organised everything we needed at a great price from scooter hire to our airport bus. The view of the balloons from our balcony at 5am is something we will never forget. We would definitely stay again."
