the hotel was so clean and modern, with a really big room -- more than enough for 2 people. the location was so great because it was right beside a theatre and we cld even catch a last minute show there! the hotel was close to our needs ie shopping, sightseeing at the royal mile and city centre.

This hotel is not only near Calton hill and Edinburgh castle,but also on the back of Princess street,very quiet.I accidentally dropped my passport there,they found and kept it for me till I went back,very thoughtful of them.

Location: Very conveniently located right across a couple of bus stops and also a few steps away from Ocean Terminal tram stop. The Oean Terminal has a few well known brand outlets which we did not visit but if you have nothing else to do, it could be a nice way to spend your time. Also the Royal Britannia Yacht is right there. Cleanliness and facilities: just as expected from IHG, very clean and also the facilities that we wanted: luggage storage, a simple bar/ restaurant and hot breakfast. Nothing extraordinary but absolutely essential. Note: scrambled eggs could be better. Service: OK, as expected. We had already sent a note saying we were going to arrive between 1 AM and 1:30 AM, and when we came to the reception around 1:15 AM, they promptly delivered the keys and on the inside of the card was written ”no show”. Which means the reception doing the night shift never saw our note and had already marked us as possible ”no show”. It did not hurt us, but I did not like the fact they never read our note, it shows the impersonal nature of their service. Therefore I deducted one star. Note: The cranberry tea is a nice selection. It helped my headache. Thanks.

Łazienka również była nieskazitelnie czysta i zadbana. Jednym z głównych atutów była dla mnie lokalizacja hotelu. Był idealny dla moich potrzeb, ponieważ znajdował się niedaleko centrum miasta i dogodnie blisko lokalnych atrakcji, takich jak zoo w Edynburgu. Bezpłatny parking na terenie obiektu był ogromnym atutem i sprawił, że podróżowanie samochodem było bezstresowe. Bardzo miło wspominam również korzystanie z udogodnień hotelu. Kryty basen i centrum fitness były czyste i dobrze wyposażone, zapewniając relaksujący sposób na relaks. Śniadanie oferowało duży wybór dań na ciepło i zimno, a jakość jedzenia była doskonała. Chociaż moje ogólne wrażenia były fantastyczne, wystąpił drobny problem z Wi-Fi w pokoju, które czasami działało trochę wolno. We had a really great stay here! The room was surprisingly spacious and very well equipped. It even had a microwave and kitchen utensils, which were super convenient for heating food during our stay. We were actually travelling to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the hotel staff kindly helped decorate the room and prepared some chocolates for us. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made the trip feel even more special. We really appreciated the effort! The whole experience was very comfortable and enjoyable, and the hotel felt very welcoming. We would definitely come back and stay here again❤️ （The only small downside was a slight smell from the drain in the bathroom, but it was still tolerable and didn’t affect our stay too much.

The customer service is super great, the room location is awesome with the nice view from outside. Very convenient to take bus and train just right outside the hotel!!! That’s is so so so convenient for me and my friend .

Lokalizacja była świetna do zwiedzania. Chociaż zarezerwowaliśmy pokój dwuosobowy, tak naprawdę mieliśmy 4 łóżka. Pokój był czysty i ciepły. Jedna winda nie działała, ale druga była szybka i wydajna. Bar był dobry w ciągu dnia, ale dość głośny w nocy i nad ranem. Podobała nam się możliwość korzystania z przechowalni bagażu. Zauważyłem, że była pralnia, z której nie musieliśmy korzystać, ale uważam, że to dobry obiekt.

To dość rozczarowujący pobyt. Mam nadzieję, że dostaniemy odpowiednie odszkodowanie. 1. W łazience nie ma podstawowych kosmetyków, nawet mydła do rąk. Musieliśmy pójść do recepcji, żeby zapytać, gdzie dostaliśmy balsam do rąk i powiedziano nam, że działa jak mydło?!? 2. Śniadanie nie jest gotowe o 7:00. Śniadanie powinno być serwowane od 7:00 do 10:00. Pierwszego ranka śniadanie nie było kompletne, ponieważ szef kuchni przyszedł do pracy późno. (Zdjęcie przedstawia to, co było dostępne dla gości). Musieliśmy wyjechać, żeby zdążyć na autobus wycieczkowy, więc prawie nic nie zjedliśmy. Następnego dnia śniadanie nie zostało podane z powodu problemów z gazem. 3. Sprzątanie pokoju nie było kompletne. Sprzątanie pokoju ograniczyło się do pościelenia łóżek i wymiany ręczników. Kosze na śmieci nie zostały opróżnione, a papier toaletowy nie został uzupełniony.

A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! My friend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property, and we had an excellent experience. I was feeling a bit under the weather during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing breakfast directly to our room, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. For those who prefer to enjoy their breakfast with a bit of fresh air, the hotel also has a charming terrace where you can take your meal while soaking in the surroundings. It’s just a short walk to the city center, making it easy to explore, and for those who prefer not to walk, a quick 5-minute bus ride will take you wherever you need to go. The lounge area at the hotel is another highlight. It’s spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with blankets to keep guests comfortable if the temperature drops. Overall, the hostel is good , the environment is good and the customer service is very friendly.  I love the lobby architectural design. Feelin the vibe.  The receptionist  are accommodating and friendly especially Hari  give star for the good service.  Aside from the shower  which is very hot  that you cant even take a shower. Other than that everything is  good with the affordable price.
