„Not great value for money, and the overall experience was pretty mediocre. The fact that the island was reclaimed from the sea, and the various buildings on it, are quite astonishing, but it's a real shame how many areas are neglected and falling into disuse. With over 5,000 rooms, the hotel had a high occupancy rate during the holiday, making the lobby feel like a chaotic market, packed with people and incredibly noisy. There were significant delays for check-in, and breakfast was practically a free-for-all, with extremely poor food quality. Room cleanliness was terrible; there were scratches all over the walls, and the bed runner was damaged and still had dried food crumbs from the previous guest on it – makes you wonder how long it hadn't been washed. The room itself was tiny, and when I asked for an extra pillow, I was told they didn't have any. We were a family of one adult and two children, both around six years old, but were told we had to purchase an additional child's breakfast, as two small children couldn't count as one adult. For nearly 600 RMB a night, with nothing included, it really wasn't worth it.”

„I would like to have given this place a better rating because the assistance was quick whenever I needed it and the apartment was really nicely decorated. However, it was not clean, the washing machine was not in a good condition, the fridge smelt really bad at first, and the shower head was broken (they did replace the shower head though). I was also not given a key card or code to open the main entrance to the building and the security person in charge of letting key-less guests in usually took too long to open the door. One time I had to ring 6 times before the door was opened. Hainan is an amazing place and I'd definitely go there again. But honestly, I probably wouldn't stay in this apartment again. I also didn't realise it was more like an Airbnb situation rather than a hotel. I only found out after I'd booked the apartment that I would have to pay a deposit and only be able to communicate with somebody through WeChat because there is no front desk.”

„Najlepszym hotelem na wyspie Ocean Flower Island jest Hilton. Jego lokalizacja jest doskonała, w pobliżu ulicy z jedzeniem i McDonald's, zaledwie kilka kroków od hotelu. To bardzo dogodna lokalizacja, jeśli chodzi o oglądanie pokazu świateł nocą i zwiedzanie kompleksu muzealnego i centrum handlowego outlet w ciągu dnia. Udogodnienia hotelowe są również całkiem dobre; głośnik Bluetooth jest bardzo wygodny do słuchania muzyki. Początkowo pokój, w którym mieszkałem, był dość mały. Chociaż recepcja specjalnie załatwiła mi pokój na lepszym piętrze, korytarz nadal był bardzo ciasny. Później, z powodu awarii klimatyzacji w moim pokoju, przenieśli mnie do większego pokoju z widokiem na morze, który był o wiele wygodniejszy. Najgorszą rzeczą w pokoju było to, że woda pod prysznicem nie była wystarczająco ciepła. Marzłem po prysznicu; woda była prawie letnia. Ręczniki kąpielowe były lodowato zimne, słabo chłonne i śliskie – bardzo zimne! Kolejną wadą były bardzo ciężkie okna; musiał pomagać mi je otwierać i zamykać pracownik, co było dość uciążliwe. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, personel był bardzo przyjazny, a całe doświadczenie było całkiem udane.”

„Widok jest doskonały, na zatokę między Baimajing a wyspą nr 2. Do plaży naprzeciwko można dojść pieszo. Na dole znajduje się wiele restauracji, w tym samoobsługowy kociołek z gorącym jedzeniem za 28 juanów, sklep spożywczy Lawson, który zaspokoi większość potrzeb, oraz dwa duże supermarkety w pobliżu. Basen znajduje się w dzielnicy mieszkalnej naprzeciwko. Jego kształt jest podobny do tego na głównym zdjęciu, ale nie jest otoczony piaskiem; to basen zewnętrzny w dzielnicy mieszkalnej. Woda wyglądała na bardzo czystą, ale w te dni była trochę zimna, więc z niej nie korzystaliśmy. Na wyspie kursują darmowe autobusy, a przystanek autobusowy znajduje się kilka minut spacerem od hotelu. Internet jest stabilny. Jeśli nie musisz gotować, pobyt na kilka dni to świetna opcja.”

„Перед въездом обязательно уточните код для заселения. Без знания китайского языка очень сложно выяснить как попасть в комнату. Делала это через поддержку Trip. Бронировалась комната одна, заселение произошло в другую. Заселили раньше, за что спасибо менеджеру которая нам помогала. Территория красивая и ухоженная, есть бассейн за дополнительную плату. Комната небольшая. Полотенца одноразовые, принадлежности все есть. Стены грязноваты, но это не критично если вам переночевать только. Само расположение комплекса удобное, недалеко до основных развлечений. Рядом есть все необходимое:магазины, кафе. Вид из окна шикарный”

„We went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels. Cleanliness: overall quite clean. Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island. Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced. Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them.”
