„Definitely the best hotel in Changsha or perhaps all of Hunan. The view from the 86th-93rd floor is the best part; suggest to book a river view to ensure you get at least a partial view of the river and of Juzizhou. The room is quite large as well, with a huge bathroom. Shower in particular is really big. Also has a bathtub with a view as well. Facilities wise, there is a pool and a gym, etc. but not as high up as as the actual hotel. Then there are the hotel restaurants and bar, which unfortunately I didn't have time to try out. There is also the IFS mall below which has everything you need. For me given the price it's an amazing bargain considering prices for similar hotels in places like Shenzhen or Guangzhou.”

„Loved my stay in this hotel. I've been to several hotels in China including international and local brands and I think this is my favourite stay! The hotel interior is beautiful, the rooms are big but the thing that made it really worth the stay is the warm hospitality from the front desk staff. The moment I booked the hotel, they sent a message for me to add them via WeChat and it was easy for me to reach out to them for any requests, unlike several other hotels I've been to, where it's hard to reach the hotel directly. They helped me collate and collect parcels from the nearby CaiNiao stop when I was in another city and couldn't collect it. I really appreciated that extra mile! When I reached the hotel, the staff walked out to the car in the cold to help us with our luggages and gave us hot tea to warm ourselves up. After check-in, staff also brought our luggages all the way into our room. Within minutes, they texted to ask if it was convenient to send our parcels to our room via robot too. As the hotel is a short walk away from the main road, the staff also assisted with the booking of the cab rides to ensure that the driver drives right to the hotel gate so that we don't have to walk out to the main road. Aside from all these, the bed is comfortable, bathrobes are plush and I love that they have disposable face in towels, makeup removers, anti-slip bathroom slippers, disposable bathtub cover, disposable toilet covers. It's so thoughtful of them to have all these provided. Breakfast packages was a bonus that we really enjoyed as well, all the food was yummy.”

„Excellent location. Reception is on the 6th floor, breakfast and afternoon tea also served on the 6th floor. Rooms are on 4th, 5th and 6th floors. I booked 3 same type of rooms and they upgraded 1 room which is facing the street, a bit noisy in the night with vehicles honking till around 11 pm or so. View was only looking at the IFS building. Room was ok spacious but no luggage racks to put them up. We put our big bag on the couch and the small one on the table. I like the toilet where there’s a sanitizer that you could use to wipe the toilet seat, also in public toilet on 6th floor. We received excellent services from when we checked in till check out. Check in staff 小梅explained things in details to us. The staff 荔枝姐姐 provided caring service during our afternoon tea and whenever we sat there to talk, if she was on duty, she would bring us the free lemon tea. Breakfast has bread, yogurt, fruits, and Chinese style breakfast. My 2 friends had to share the bed and wanted a blanket each so we called housekeeping. When they came with the blanket, they didn’t just pass it to them, but made the bed for them. Praise! Another excellent thing was, you could leave your dirty clothes (no socks, no underwears) at the reception in the morning, and they will wash, dry, fold and you go and pick it up after you come back in the night. Upon check out, the staff asked if we needed more bottle water and gave us a bag of goodbye gifts, which had 2 eye masks, 2 wet towels and a snack. Highly recommend this hotel even though it was a bit hard to get off the didi as there isn’t really a good spot to stop. We got dropped off in the middle of the road and had to call didi to the HSR station in the middle of the road as well. First time experiencing this.”

„This stay was fantastic! The front desk staff were warm and polite, patiently answering all my questions, and check-in was quick and smooth. The hotel has a simple, oriental style, and the lobby has a very comfortable Zen-like atmosphere. The room was impeccably clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the room was well-soundproofed, making it very quiet at night. There was plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were of good quality. The staff were attentive and responsive. It's rare to find such a comfortable place to stay after a long journey, so I highly recommend it and will definitely choose this hotel again next time!”

„We stayed two nights at the Grand Hyatt Changsha in a spacious deluxe king room with a sofa bed on Level 57, offering half river view and half city view. Unfortunately, the weather was foggy during our stay, so the scenery was hidden. The location is fantastic — Hisense Plaza (with Wenheyou) is right next door, and popular attractions like Wuyi Square, Pozi Street, and Du Fu Pavilion are all within a few minutes’ walk. Front desk service could have been more responsive when I tried to book an extra room for my sister on the first day. The front desk staff told me that the walk-in rate would only be available between 9–10am the next day. She took down my phone number and promised to call me back, but I didn’t receive the call until after 2pm the next day. Luckily I had reserved online in advance.  The true highlight was the housekeeping team — always smiling,warm, attentive, and thoughtful. They prepared children’s slippers and a toothbrush for my child, provided extra bottled water without being asked, and even left us a handwritten note saying they had discarded our unfinished cold tea and coffee and cleaned the cups for safe use. These small touches made our stay very comfortable and memorable, despite the foggy weather.”

„Absolutely incredible stay from the moment you step foot on the property and until you leave. The staff prepared a lovely card and gift in our room to celebrate our honeymoon. The hotel pool was a lifesaver during the 35+ heatwave. Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety to choose from. Rooms are spotless, there are western TV channels and great soundproofing between rooms and to the street below.”
