„I had a wonderful stay at Changliu Mountain Resort Hotel. I originally booked the Mo Yun Xuan double room, but to my surprise, I was upgraded to an even better room — complete with an outdoor bath. This instantly elevated the whole experience. Soaking in the warm water while surrounded by mountain air was incredibly relaxing and felt like a private onsen moment right at my doorstep. The resort itself is peaceful, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. Breakfast was good, the little add-on experiences (like warm sweet soup, welcome fruits, and photography activities) made the stay feel thoughtful and unique. Staff were polite and helpful, and the entire environment was perfect for slowing down and disconnecting from city stress. If you’re looking for a quiet escape with nature, a comfortable stay, and a little luxury with an outdoor bath, Changliu Mountain Resort is definitely worth it.”

„Wonderful hotel. My room had an unblocked view of the mountains and paid fields. 7th floor rooftop has a pool and very nice views. Service was excellent. The room was very clean. Breakfast was Chinese style breakfast which suited our taste. You can rent an e bike from the front of the hotel cheaply and ride around the area. Or if you prefer you could also ride the free bicycles provided by the hotel.”

„🌳門臉很低調，裏面別有洞天 🚗開車到門口時，還在想“是不是走錯了”。 推門進去才發現——院子藏在裏面，泳池、綠植、鞦韆，陽光灑下來的時候，美得像畫。 酒店分A、B兩棟，中間隔着不遠。 餐廳、戲水池、小童樂園都在A棟，B棟更安靜，窗外就是越南方向的山。 🛏️房間大到可以跑起來 訂的套房，兩個房間中間夾着衞生間，長者孩子各住一間，互不打擾。 沙發和茶几足夠一家人圍坐休息，落地窗外是滿眼的山景。 床品舒服，浴巾柔軟，一次性用品配得很齊。 🥘好吃的都在院子裏 早餐是套餐，湯粉、拌麪、白粥三選一，🆓到12點，太適合我們這種睡到自然醒的遊客啦 下午有水果，晚上有晚安甜湯，温熱的口感，暖胃又暖心。 本來計劃晚餐也在酒店搞定，我們剛好遇到酒店這幾天晚餐暫時不開放。 👧孩子來了就不想走 小童樂園、沙坑、鞦韆、小三輪車，還有泳池和槳板可以免費玩。 大人在泳池邊喝茶，孩子在院子裏騎車，各得其樂。 院子裏種着香蕉樹，早上在果林裏走走，空氣都是甜的。”

„Lovely boutique hotel immersed in the spectacular landscape of Mingshi. Modern, new and well looked after. Free bike rental on site is very convenient, breakfast offers very good variety. Price is high and hotel staff doesn’t speak any English, which made it difficult for us to understand what was on offer. They were very responsive on wechat though. We recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Mingshi.”

„Everything was nice and clean and the breakfast actually had some more “international” food compared to other local hotels. We didn’t understand why you cannot enter the pool area, which is apparently from “another hotel” according to the staff. Not clear since the pictures show the pool in this hotel when you book. But overall we had a very nice stay and the area/nature around the hotel is stunning.”

„The B&B is conveniently located near Funa Secret Realm and Dongna Yuwan, making it easy to access both attractions. [Environment]: The decor is exquisite, definitely the best among nearby B&Bs, though it leans a bit too much towards a hotel style. [Cleanliness]: The bedding is very clean and soft, and the toiletries come in small individual bottles. [Food]: Breakfast is served individually with a good variety, and there's even fruit after the meal. The restaurant's ”Piaoliang Fan” (pretty rice/meal) offers great value and taste. [Highlights]: There are two swimming pools, which the kids absolutely loved. At night, you can look up from the rooftop and see a sky full of stars.”

„Amazing stay at Yunlu. Amazing service from the wonderful staff. Extremely quiet location. Beautiful scenery around. Great breakfast (no buffet). Large rooms with great views. Even a small pool (more for children). I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay. The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks. I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes. Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant). I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”.”

„Honestly the most beautiful and the best hotel experience I’ve had in China! The hotel is situated in the gorgeous Mingshi village and our stay at Mingshi Yaju gave us complimentary access to the paid scenic area. The hotel is also conveniently 30 minutes from the main attraction - Detian Waterfall. Our stay included delicious breakfast, daily fruits and desserts, complimentary bamboo raft and cycling experience. They also have gym, pool and shuttle amenities. The staff there were extremely friendly and helpful! Sincerely want to thank Miss Zhou (周小姐）for making our stay so amazing. Highly recommend staying here!”

„The hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there. The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady. Would I stay again? NO”
