Kiso District – hotele ze śniadaniem

„I had a nice size room over looking the river , the onsen was a nice feature , the hotel had easy access to the train /bus stations about a 15 minute walk, the meals they provided were reasonable . I had my own ensuite my room was equipped with the standard features ,all in all the hotel was good to stay in.”

„Het hotel ligt afgelegen aan het eind van een weg die de bergen in leidt. Prachtig uitzicht, rust, vogelgeluiden. Zeer gastvrije gastheer, die 's avonds een heerlijk diner bereidt. De volgende ochtend een prima ontbijt. Eenvoudig hotel, relatief ruime kamer, zeer kleine badkamer. Half-pension. ”

„DO NOT GO TO this hotel if you need vegetarian, vegan, or halal food, or have any food allergies or dietary requirements. The hotel says that they do not cater to these (have enclosed their email response).  It’s a really beautiful property and the Onsen is amazing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The dinner buffet spread is huge, but there is nothing hot for vegetarians except lukewarm pizza. Even the fried rice, Mapu tofu, and soups included fish or pork or chicken.  When I requested for something hot for dinner, the chef took chilled soba noodles, added hot water and salt, and gave those to me. For the dinner next day, I spoke to the manager in the morning and I was promised veg hot Mapu tofu, miso soup and something else. But when we went for dinner, the only special dish that had been prepared for us was cold soba noodles with hot water, salt, AND mushrooms. When I mentioned that the manager had promised additional items, the serving staff called the manager, and there was a big disagreement between the manager, the chef and the restaurant staff, and the kitchen staff refused to make anything else. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Even if you take a taxi to the nearest town (Nagiso), it is Yen 50,000 one way fare to get there and everything closes by 5 pm. So either choose a different hotel or bring your own food with you.”

„Amazing hospitality, sweetest hosts ever!”

„Our car was stuck outside of the hotel due to heavy snow, one of the hotel staff was extremely helpful to clear snow on the road and helped us drive the car back to the hotel, we were so grateful for his help otherwise we dunno how long would it take for us to make the car move again. He was so worry about us as there were also heavy snow on our departure day, he escorted us down to the mountain to make sure we are safe. All of the staff were so nice, food was fantastic! Probably one of the best hotel experience we have ever had. We reli enjoy the time there!”

„My first Ryokan experience and it was great. Beautiful interior, good location to walk some parts of the Nakasendo trail, lovely traditional Japanese food, nice onsen and very kind people. They do their utmost to make you feel comfortable. The hotel has been owned by the same family for ages. Highly recommended.”
