Hotele w: Ancient City Tourist Cultural Area, Datong

Overall good stay. Staff are polite and helpful. Clean, super big room with a swing and projector TV. Perhaps for my 2 young kids under 8. 2 big bed. Allow late check out on our last day, plus point. Washer and dryer just outside our room. Breakfast was excellant but have to walk 10 mins- in minus 3 degree 😆 Didi drop off is 200m walk away. Its ok. Room drain choke on 2nd day but they fix it fast (someone off the basement suction pump). Highly recommended.

Najpiękniejszy hotel, w jakim kiedykolwiek byłem! Naprawdę pięknie ☺️ Właścicielka hotelu jest niezwykle miła i chętnie pomaga w każdy możliwy sposób. A pokoje są bardzo ładne i dobrze utrzymane. Można zobaczyć miłość, z jaką stworzyli to miejsce. Naprawdę, jedyną rzeczą, której żałuję, jest to, że nie zostałem dłużej. The hotel was well located. The room exactly like it was described online. We reserved two rooms without windows for one day it was cost efficient! Unfortunately I could not reserve directly 4 breakfast online only two (one per room), we have to pay directly at breakfast for the two others one. We stop at Datong to visited one of UNESCO site and see the all Datong city. We thought more foreigners will visit this beautiful small city. No one speaks English (and that’s ok) but for a 4 stars hotel the front desk lady looks a bit lost with the check in procedure for foreigners (and I work in a 5 stars hotel in beijing so I know the procedure as a French working in China). Also, the isolation is bad, the front desk already inform us upon check in but we did not thought we will heard even the other room bathrooms flush. Thank you for this night your hotel is beautiful

I booked two rooms for 4, and we were given rooms beside each other. We arrived late at night around 9.30pm and check in went smoothly. Rooms were very comfortable and were equipped with SMART tech with voice activation! We were also able to check out a little later upon request since our train left later in the afternoon. I also had packages delivered to the reception and had no issues. Location was great and easy to explore the ancient city and also to see the main wall itself. One thing to note is that there isn't a formal drop off point but you can definitely get dropped off and picked up along the side of the road. The room layout was slightly different than the images on Trip.com (I booked a Double bedroom with courtyard view with a stay voucher), but the room was good too although I would have preferred the toilet configuration in the photos. Overall, a great place to stay and I'd definitely stay here again if I get to come back to Datong. They also have a bakery at the lobby and it gets sold out pretty quickly!

Musisz tu zostać! Wszystko jest idealne. Hotel jest piękny. Personel jest tak gościnny i pomocny. Mieliśmy problem i jeden z pracowników mówił świetnie po angielsku i mógł rozwiązać nasz problem. Śniadanie rano było pyszne. Dziękuję jeszcze raz, gorąco polecam wasz hotel.

To było najgorsze, najobrzydliwsze doświadczenie hotelowe, jakie kiedykolwiek miałem. Zameldowałem się z rodzicami i dwójką dzieci chwilę po 20:00. Moje najstarsze dziecko zasnęło o 22:00, a około 23:00 dzieci obudziły się z powodu ukąszeń komarów. Moje drugie dziecko również krzyczało z powodu komarów. Po długich poszukiwaniach nie znaleźliśmy w pokoju elektrycznych spiral na komary, więc recepcjonista przyniósł jedną z powrotem. Okazało się, że była całkowicie nieskuteczna. O 2:00 w nocy dzieci miały sześć lub siedem dużych ukąszeń. Moje najstarsze dziecko było tak przytłoczone ukąszeniami podczas snu, że moja babcia i ja na zmianę smarowaliśmy dzieci lekarstwami i drapaliśmy je. Ale to nie było najgorsze. Moja babcia obudziła się w środku nocy i zobaczyła dwa karaluchy wyłażące spod szafki lodówki. Po walce z komarami i karaluchami w końcu zasnęliśmy. Ale potem, około godziny 7 rano, prace budowlane na zewnątrz obudziły wszystkich hukiem i trzaskiem... To było moje najgorsze przeżycie!

Stayed here for 3 days while visiting Datong. The room was spotlessly clean and well-ventilated, with no strange smells. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. There's a convenience store downstairs, and it's a short, direct taxi ride to all the attractions, which saved a lot of time. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff were all lovely young ladies who provided very attentive service. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting!

Datong in September is absolutely beautiful, with clear skies and crisp air! This was my first time visiting Datong, Shanxi, and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights – I was very satisfied! The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk to the 'Four Archways' in the ancient city, and Drum Tower East and West Streets are less than a 10-minute walk away. From my view room, I had a fantastic panoramic view of the 'Daiwang Mansion' (Prince's Mansion). The front desk staff and all other service personnel were very welcoming and always ready to help. The room was clean and tidy. Even though the view room faced the street, the windows were very soundproof, so you barely heard any outside noise. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with authentic flavors like 'knife-cut noodles' (daoxiao mian) and lamb offal soup with vermicelli (yangza fen)! There was a wide variety of both Chinese and Western breakfast options, and it was served until 11 AM, which is something most hotels don't offer!

民宿院子很美，無事的時候在院子裏看金魚，躺在躺椅上發呆也是件美事兒，前台小姐姐很親切的為我們準備歡迎的水果早餐，早餐三明治非常美味。我們住的屋子有兩張1.35米的床，完全滿足兩個大人兩個孩子睡覺的完美需求，房間設施很新，很乾凈無異味，也很安靜空調給力，民宿有可免費借閲的自行車，在大同古城玩的這幾天多虧了有這幾輛自行車讓我們毫不費力。這裏這幾天時不時還會下起小雨，我們也是打着民宿免費的雨傘走街串巷。大同真是一個有魅力的城市，去了這麼多城市，大同是惟一一個在目前為止讓我吃的好玩得好住着也舒心的城市。在我還未離開的時候，已經在計劃第二次來的時候去哪裡玩了但是不管去哪裡，我都還會再次選擇這個民宿。

This time I came to Datong to stay at this homestay and the experience was full! The homestay is newly renovated, the rooms are very clean and tidy, and all kinds of facilities are very new and comfortable. The view of the yard is beautiful, and it is especially pleasant to sit in your leisure time. What impressed me the most was the boss family, who treated people sincerely and enthusiastically, and made the journey particularly warm. Highly recommended, I will choose here next time I come to Datong!
