"The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Parking was free, and the breakfast was excellent. However, they mistakenly charged my credit card in the middle of the night, deducting over 100 euros as a guarantor for someone else. When I contacted Ctrip, they explained that the first deduction was a test to see if it worked, and the second was the actual charge. I asked: "How can they charge me indefinitely without my permission?" After several protests, they finally admitted it was a mistake and they were deducting money on behalf of someone else. So everyone should be careful with their deposits."

"Central, reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of the port and city. Lovely bathroom with full size bath. Mixup upon checking in regarding the room booking (sent to an uncleaned room twice!). Finally resolved and upon entering the room neither the phone or TV worked. A maintenance man was contacted and he fixed the TV Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend and return."

"The big issue with this hotel is that there is a stark difference between the presentation and images shown in the internet and the reality which one confronts when standing in front of the hotel and which can be encountered inside. The outside of the hotel and its neighbourhood such as displayed on the internet image looks much different in the real world. The hotel is surrounded by small private houses in a small street with very few parking options. From our hotel room, the view is limited and shows onto a row of lining small private homes. The balcony of our hotel room is very small and it is no place to relax. The street can be busy with occasional traffic. The room itself is much smaller as displayed in the internet and not filled with colours in contrast to internet images but grey and somber. The pool is very small and just for a cool-down and does not allow swimming. Breakfast is under the average of Spanish and European standards because: orange juice is from supermarket cartons and has the taste of diluted concentrated juice and definitely not fresh, jam is also not from the best taste, butter was missing, the taste of spanish jam was from the cheapest category, there was only one choice of bread and very limited self service. This hotel is ok for a one night stay but not for a longer holiday looking for a relaxing environment inside the hotel compared with others I have visited before all around the world. The price is relatively high for the lacking confort but one of the lowest in the Denia area which has relatively high hotel prices. We wanted to stay two nights but being disappointed by the reality which we confronted compared what we saw in the internet, we only stayed one night and payed the additional 30% cancellation fee looking for a more convenient place on the coastline. It has to be mentioned that the staff was very correct and polite."

"The hotel's location on the harbour of Dénia is central and great. It is perfect to explore the town and the harbour on foot. The hotel is very well maintained and decorated inside very nicely with a lot of love. You can drive in front of the hotel and unload your luggage for a short time. The reception was very friendly. We got the card to park the car in the hotel's private car park nearby. When we were back at the reception, we were surprised to receive an upgrade to Suite 405. Upon entering the suite, the impression was breathtaking. From the living room over the huge terrace, you can see the harbour and the wide ocean at your feet. The living room, the dining area and the bedroom form a large room, which is furnished with great attention to detail. Everything is of the highest and new quality. The bathroom features a free-standing bathtub and a large walk-in shower. The terrace that surrounds the suite "L-shaped" offers two comfortable sun loungers, a sitting lounge, a large table with 6 chairs and a Jacuzzi. We were just flashed. As people who have travelled a lot, we have never experienced the fact that a free upgrade even includes a bottle of champagne chilled on ice. We would certainly have been very happy with our booked junior suite but this was actually a big surprise. A heartfelt thank you to the hotel for this great feel-good experience."

"Arrived on Sunday, no cleaners until following Friday . Had to catch the cleaners in the store room for toilet rolls and clean towels. Did not use the pool until the last day. Even then floating polystyrene in the pool and generally not clean.Sunbeds dirty. Could not sleep on the last 2to 3 nights because of young children back and forth rooms banging doors. On the positive the staff were nice, but the place didnt seem run properly. Breakfast was good too."

"Such a lovely hotel modern inside but with a feel of old style Spain to it. Had a beautiful room with a terrace and sun beds lovely to have our own private space. Great to cool off with a dip in the pool. Nothing was too much trouble and any requests dealt with by the excellent and super friendly staff. They were experiencing a heatwave and loaned us a parasol for the beach which was hugely appreciated. Vincent and Jacob were amazing and had some great chats with them. Walder and the waiting staff were so pleasant and helpful. Would recommend staying here and will be seriously considering a return visit in the future."

"I want to mention that we booked an apartment, and to my unpleasant surprise, the room was infested with cockroaches. They started coming out that night, huge and noisy, and I couldn't sleep a wink. The next day, they moved us to a tiny room. I've never been in such a small room; you could barely move in the bathroom. On top of that, the view overlooked an empty lot full of dumpsters and trash. Awful. The only good thing was the friendliness of the receptionist. He gave us a refund for the inconvenience—well, a parking space on the street with a wheel clamp, nothing more. In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend it at all. We won't be back."

"We had booked 3 nights at the Ona Ogisaka hotel, but the reality didn’t live up to the pictures and reviews. The pool was cloudy and smelled bad when we arrived; we didn’t swim in it, yet it still took them another full day to close it down. The sunbeds were made of hard plastic and very uncomfortable to lie on. The whole complex was quite dirty. The room was old, and the furniture had clearly seen better days. The sofa bed with an extra mattress was almost impossible to sleep on – honestly the worst night’s sleep I’ve ever had. We received no cleaning service and no fresh towels. We managed to stay 2 nights before checking out early. Nobody at the reception even asked us why."
