Stayed here as part of a tour. The only nice thing I can say is the location is good and the pool area was nice, I really enjoyed the pool. The rooms are beat up and worn out. The patio door did not lock and neither did the deadbolt. There was no do not disturb sign. Nothing was very clean, towels were ancient. Big crack in the sink so it just had glue slopped into the hole! The service in the restaurant was non existent, and the tables were not clean. The food was bad. Couldn't even go with bread and butter because you can only find butter at breakfast. On the second night we took one look at dinner and headed across the street to one of the many great cafes and restaurants in the immediate area. Stay somewhere else, this is not good!

Used by two women. I am located in the middle of the old city and I think you can enjoy the atmosphere of Fes as it is. Ah where should I begin.... Upon stepping into the hotel, we could smell the horrible odour coming from the tannery. We wanted to use the bathtub in our room for a bath. There was an issue and it needed fixing. Also the a floor tile near the bathtub was broken. We didn't know it and stepped on it. The broken tile flipped up and could have cut us. The reason given by staff was the previous guest broke it and they didn't have the time to fix it before our arrival. Well then we should have been told to be careful or just don't let guests stay in that room till it is fixed? When we told the sales manager about the issues with the bathtub and broken tile, he gave lots of excuses, that we didn't know how to use the bathtub and if we are sure the broken tile is in our room and not outside the room. Very unprofessional and the way he talked was quite condescending. I had to film the broken tile IN the room to prove that I was telling the truth. Hairdryer was also damaged. No house slippers in the room. Hotel said that they do not have a fixed menu in their restaurant. Completely understand but nobody told us the price of each meal at all! The worse situation was when my Mother asked one of their staff, Simehed, if he spoke English, to help us with a situation. He blatantly lied and said no. 2 minutes later he was speaking perfect English to another guest behind us. First of all, you never lie to your guests. Second of all, it is just a poor reflection on your hotel and you are known as a five-star hotel. After our stay, I called the hotel asking for the contact details of the General Manager as I was furious with Simehed's behaviour. The guy who answered said he didn't know his GM's contact details. How can you not know your GM's contact in a hotel?? After that, he said he was busy and had things to do and hung up on me. He continued to hang up on me two more times and after that didn't even bother picking up the phone. Karawan Riad, your hotel may have a five-star interior, but I wouldn't even give one star for your staff service. I've stayed in many hotels around the world and yours has the worst service. Very disappointing! You may want to retrain your staff or get better ones. The only person who helped us a lot during our stay there was a staff named Nezha. She was very professional and sympathetic to our distress and she deserves to be commended for it. And because of her, I decided not to give one star.

We have spent one night at the Vichy Moulay Yacoub hotel, 20 km from the town of Fes, Morocco. Very modern and relaxing hotel design, perfect service and very professional staff. Our room had a very comfy bed, a smart TV and a balcony with a view on the hill. All booking and assistance made by excellent sales agent Najla, her attention to details and reactivity were outstanding. The swimming pool is accessible directly from your hotel room (bathrobe and slippers provided, but I suggest you bring your own plastic slippers) from 9 am to 6h30 pm. Entrance fee is 200 MAD pp per entrance. The water is over 40 degrees Celsius and have a very strong sulfur odour ( it's forbidden for minors, and people with serious health conditions). Sulfur waters are known for healing rheumatoid, ORL and dermatologic conditions. We had several 5 minutes baths and also visited the vaporarium. All the complex is super clean and well maintained despite the sulfur waters damage. The hotel restaurant is nice, food is OK. Special mention for the chicken 'satay' with white rice and chocolate lava cake. Restaurant staff are very welcoming. Breakfast buffet is OK, would have expected a little more Moroccan food. Overall an excellent stay, relaxing and rejuvenating. Can't wait to return

We had a magic moment or 1 night was 1000 nights. The staff is welcome to small care, you can enjoy the historical knowledge of the receptionist who will guide you for a very good stay in Fes. The hotel is a wonderful architectural architecture with a genuinely beautiful decoration or you can feel the soul of the well-thinking accompanied by a charming swimming pool. We had not taken time to enjoy the food that must be as good as the place, except the breakfast that was cool and good.

I stayed there for 2 days. My room was ready and clean. The bed was comfy. Breakfast is good buffet with many items. I liked it. They have a big garden with a nice pool. I took a fresh local bear in this garden and a good chicken tajine with vegetables and olives.

It was less than 10 minutes by taxi from CTM bus terminal. It is about 6dh if it is a meter. It was near Carrefour, a large shopping center, and convenient for procuring food. It takes about 10 minutes by taxi to the old town. It is easy to do sightseeing.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must admit that my experience was less than satisfactory. There were several issues that made the stay quite disappointing, and despite raising our concerns, they were not adequately addressed. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because it was advertised as wheelchair-friendly. However, we were surprised to find steps leading into the entrance and small rooms, making it challenging for individuals with mobility issues. Additionally, the lifts were exceptionally small, causing inconvenience and discomfort, especially when carrying luggage or during busy times. It was disappointing that the accessibility and space were not as expected. We also encountered a language barrier when trying to communicate about laundry charges. We felt like we might have been overcharged, but it was difficult to clarify the matter due to the language issue. On a positive note, most of the staff were very friendly and polite, and their efforts to assist us were appreciated. However, the lack of water or glasses in the rooms was a surprising oversight, and it affected our overall comfort during our stay. Furthermore, the location of the hotel didn't have much around that was open. This limited our options for nearby dining or activities, making our experience less enjoyable. Overall, the hotel had several faults that affected our stay. While the friendly staff were a bright spot, the issues with accessibility, small lifts, lack of amenities, and limited nearby options left us feeling dissatisfied. I hope that the hotel management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the overall guest experience to meet the expectations of their guests.
