Hotel był bardzo cichy, więc zaskoczyliśmy się, że rano zobaczymy pełną jadalnię, ale był szeroki wybór i nie ma problemu z dostępnością, jadalni pracownicy byli przyjazni i wydajni. Miły pub obok, ale tylko napiliśmy się w dużym ogrodzie piwa. Dobry obiad w sklepie Gloucester Services Farm zaledwie 10 minut od hotelu."

"The overall impression of the hotel, restaurant and bar is 'tired'. Reception is very small and on arrival there was no-one on duty so we had to press a buzzer and wait for someone to come across from the other building. Our room was on the first floor but there was no lift so we had to scrabble up stairs with our luggage. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and there was only one member of staff on duty to serve behind the bar and also bring out food from the kitchen. We had to wait quite a while for our food. Breakfast provided a wide choice but the cooked food was not appetising. We had chosen the hotel because the location worked well for a family event we were attending, otherwise I'm not sure we would choose it again. Also, the total bill to stay and eat of just short of £400 for two nights, in my opinion, didn't provide value for money."

"I was delighted to be able to revisit the New Inn for the first time since 1965! Much improved from then when it was a Berni Inn. So good to see that it still had the atmosphere of a historic coaching inn in Gloucester. Hopefully I will return later in the year with my wife to attend a performance of Handel’s Messiah at Gloucester Cathedral on 21st November."

"I had trouble checking in and had to get help from the bar staff who were very helpful The bedrooms were a bit on the small side for 2 people, there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms and it was very hot weather. The breakfast menu was adequate. We did not have dinner at the hotel. The bottom step on the main stairway had no markings on the edge, and one of my party fell down that step on 2 occasions. Fortunately he was not injured, but the matter needs redressing. We pointed it out to one of the bar staff who said he would pass on the comment. The staff were very pleasant at all times."

The breakfast, with its à la carte options, was clearly made with care, which was a big plus, and the coffee was excellent too. The hotel is new and very comfortable, and it's just a 10-minute walk to the nearby cathedral. All six of us agreed that this was the best hotel we stayed at during our entire ten-plus day trip."

"Rooms were clean and tidy and Staff friendly . But was let down in Restaurant that Premier appears to have taken over from Beefeater Service was poor as they were understaffed , 2 people covering bar and serving tables and crossing carpark to reception to book in guests. Only 1-2 chefs on different nights . Food was ok but often dried up as sat under heat lamps too long before being served . Waited ages to be served in-between courses including drinks , as so understaffed . Not the Staffs fault , but Premier need to resource properly . There were 7 people staying in our group and we booked in advance so they knew we were coming . As service so bad we ate only 2 nights out of 4 , as we found somewhere with better service and quality food close by ."

"My wife stayed here & i just thought I’d check reviews to see if anyone else had the same experience she had. To my surprise, another guest did! Booked a room - paid in full - & when my wife arrived to check in they said she booked two rooms & the balance of the second room had to be paid in full before she got the keys to the room already paid for! No second room had been booked! My wife was over visiting her sick father at Christmas & had no other choice but to pay it. My wife showed emails - rang ‘*******’ which was apparently the provider it was booked with & even got the confirmation that nothing had been booked whatsoever- showed staff the proof - & was still given no other option than to pay. The entire stay she wasn’t even given the keys to the second room. My wife was extremely upset & felt ambushed in an already tough situation , about to see her father for the first time in a care facility. Absolutely awful."
