Lovely hotel! The hotel is 10 min walk from the old twon. Our room was very clean and spacious with great shower! The staff are incredibly polite, welcoming and friendly. The staff from cafe at the front went out of their way to get us vegan cake in the evening. The bar staff was lovely as well and drinks and food reasonably priced. The breakfast had good selection for anyone including nice vegan options. Definitely try the vegan strawberry cake, it was the breakfast highlight for us. As they are renovating spa we couldn't use the hotel ones (we will have to come back to try). They offered options nearby but we opted for a different place for our massages in the end. Overall great stay and we will definitely come back.

Perfect for exploring the city on foot. When I arrived, I checked out the available rooms and asked the receptionist for the current rate. The price through Trip.com was considerably lower, so I booked it online and received a substantial discount for the same room. I enjoyed my stay enough to extend for a second night. However, I was surprised to find that the price for Monday night had jumped up significantly and matched the original reception rate—much higher than my first night. Same room, just a higher cost. Tip: If you're planning to stay more than one night, I recommend booking the full duration upfront through Trip.com to lock in the best rate. Prices can change daily, and you may not get the same deal by booking night by night. Overall, a comfortable stay in a great spot—but be smart with how you book.

Byłem bardzo rozczarowany pobytem, w pokojach czuł się silny i nieprzyjemny zapach ścieków, który można było wykryć również z korytarza, nawet 10 metrów od niego. Byłem na 5 piętrze, a mimo reputacji hotelu, to nie było to, czego oczekiwałem. Dodatkowo, głośna muzyka z pobliskiego baru lub restauracji kontynuowała do północy, co sprawia, że bardzo trudno jest spać. Musiałem utrzymać okno otwarte z powodu zapachu, a mój kolega w sąsiednim pokoju ale z nocnymi temperaturami około 8 –9°C, pokój był niewygodnie zimny. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, doświadczenie spadło znacznie poniżej oczekiwań dla hotelu o tak dobrej nazwie.

Perfect spot for a Bucharest city break! The location is unbeatable—right at the edge of the Old Town, making it a 5-minute walk to landmarks like the Stavropoleos Monastery. The vibe is exactly what you expect from a Moxy: modern, energetic, and very social. The rooms are a bit compact but super clean and have everything you need for a short stay. Special thanks to the staff for being so welcoming. Great base if you’re planning to explore the city or heading onward to Sofia!

It was a great experience, room is very clean, bed is very comfortable, food from the restaurant is excellent.

Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, mieliśmy przyjemny pobyt. Hotel był czysty i wygodny, a pokój odpowiedniej wielkości — bardzo przyjemny i zadbany. Byliśmy bardzo zadowoleni z ogólnego doświadczenia. Śniadanie mogłoby być lepsze, ponieważ nie było zbyt wielu zdrowych opcji. Większość dań to cięższe dania w stylu amerykańskim, więc trochę większa różnorodność byłaby miłym dodatkiem. Byłoby również wspaniale, gdyby pokoje były sprzątane nieco dokładniej każdego dnia, a nie tylko ścielone i zmieniane. Goście płacący za pobyt w hotelu zawsze doceniają stałą jakość i dbałość o szczegóły.

Pobyt był naprawdę świetny! Komunikacja przebiegła bezproblemowo. Mieszkanie jest czyste i ma wszystko, czego potrzeba. Poprosiłabym właściciela o rozważenie dodania małego kosza na śmieci w łazience, dla kobiet, które muszą pozbyć się pewnych rzeczy bez konieczności wracania do mieszkania (moje mieszkanie miało zupełnie oddzielną łazienkę, więc musiałam przechodzić przez mały korytarz, ale ten korytarz jest zabezpieczony głównymi drzwiami i prowadzi tylko do mieszkania i jeszcze jednego). Drugą sugestią byłoby pozostawienie rolki plastikowych toreb na śmieci w kuchni. Lokalizacja jest trochę daleko od centrum, więc jeśli chcesz zostać na krótko, polecam inną lokalizację (dojazd do centrum zajmuje około 30 minut). Okolica jest raczej cicha, chociaż Bukareszt słynie z dużego natężenia ruchu (i podobno wielu kierowców z dużą prędkością i samochodów z tuningowanymi wydechami?). Pralka i suszarka były bardzo miłym dodatkiem, zostawili nawet kilka kapsułek na dwa prania. Ogólnie naprawdę świetnie!

The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I cannot fault this hotel. So perfectly situated without being noisy, lovely staff, fantastic and varied breakfast (with excellent coffee), a well appointed gym, spotless and spacious. Thank you for making a solo female traveller happy, well fed and safe.

The hotel is very big. It is linked to the radisson blue hotel next door and be accessed without leaving the inside. The breakfast choice was smaller than i expected but was still very tasty. Not sure it is worth the price to be honest.
