Great location in the old city, short walk to the city walls. Homestay was very clean and well maintained with friendly staff. For those craving coffee, they have a coffee machine at the reception that's rarely used. There's a snack box is the room and the snacks are so nice I finished 4 of them... For those who grew up on Chinese novels, you'll be disappointed. Most novels describe how the Mongols attached XiangYang on horseback. But if you see view from the city walls, you'll realise it's protected from all sides, especially the north, by the 800m wide Han river. No way that the Mongol horses could have swam 800m while under fire from the arrows on XiangYang.

這次出行住的酒店真的太讓我滿意！房間乾淨整潔，一坐不染，細節之處盡顯用心。床品柔軟舒適，讓我每晚都能安睡。服務更是沒得説，最開始跑錯酒店了，本來想着退了，但是過了時間節點太晚了又害怕退不了，給前台溝通了一下態度特別好去了後還給我們升了個房型，從特價升到了豪華大床房從前台辦理入住時的熱情貼心，到入住期間各種需求的快速響應，工作人員都展現出極高的專業素養，讓人心裏暖乎乎的。而且價格實惠，性價比超高，在同等價位的酒店中脱穎而出。這次入住體驗太棒了，下次來這邊，肯定還選這家！

Overall this very good hotel with nice facilities. However I experience two incidents which downgraded service rank. On the first day in the restaurant person was smoking close to our table - should be separate area for smokers and nonsmokers, no reaction from personel. On the 2nd day when taking short clip of the cook preparing the meal, I was approached by the personel and asked not to record the staff, in other hotels staff is definitely more welcome to guests recording or taking photos. Not here.

服務很贊，不管是前台接待還是客房服務都很貼心。因為天氣冷，辦理入住時，前台第一時間先給孩子倒了紅糖薑茶，然後才認真的辦理房卡。因為延時退房，房卡失效沒打開門，客房服務也是二話沒説，邊説明原因邊幫打開房門取行李。房間整潔衞生，酒店位置好找，看到襄陽人家的牌樓就去五十米即到。門口護城河過去就是老城牆，去北街步行可達。還贈品了咖啡券，現磨的豆子，不是廉價的速溶。

Quanji Hotel, Xiangyang review I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings. First impressions - Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to. - Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board. - Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking. - Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess. Service - Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient. - Housekeeping: Prompt and discreet. No intrusions at odd hours, which I appreciated.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say the reception team truly made my experience unforgettable. From the morning shift to the evening and even late at night, every single one of them was incredibly kind, caring, and attentive. They were always ready to help with a smile, no matter the time or situation. You can really feel that they love what they do their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made me feel so welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. Each interaction was filled with kindness and respect, and that made all the difference. A big thank you to the amazing ladies at the front desk your positive energy and hospitality made my stay far better than I could’ve imagined. You’re the heart of this hotel!

Great location next to a big mall. Great breakfast options. My room was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled a bit like cigarettes. Gym facilities were ok, but the pool was impressive.

There is nothing wrong with the hotel. The hotel itself is superb. Recommended. But this choice is wrong to me based on location that I usually do. The map of xiangyang dong station was wrong in the map that made me choose this hotel which in fact quite far from the station

Old building but clean and visible right from the train station. The cheap food served in the spacious restaurant on the second floor is clean, so there is no unique smell of Chinese food that foreigners hate, and it has a nutritious menu. The staff working at the counter are well educated and show kind and skillful faithfulness to their duties. In particular, I give you the best applause for the ability to track the precious cell phone lost on the road to the end!
