Great location in the old city, short walk to the city walls. Homestay was very clean and well maintained with friendly staff. For those craving coffee, they have a coffee machine at the reception that's rarely used. There's a snack box is the room and the snacks are so nice I finished 4 of them... For those who grew up on Chinese novels, you'll be disappointed. Most novels describe how the Mongols attached XiangYang on horseback. But if you see view from the city walls, you'll realise it's protected from all sides, especially the north, by the 800m wide Han river. No way that the Mongol horses could have swam 800m while under fire from the arrows on XiangYang.

服務很贊，不管是前台接待還是客房服務都很貼心。因為天氣冷，辦理入住時，前台第一時間先給孩子倒了紅糖薑茶，然後才認真的辦理房卡。因為延時退房，房卡失效沒打開門，客房服務也是二話沒説，邊説明原因邊幫打開房門取行李。房間整潔衞生，酒店位置好找，看到襄陽人家的牌樓就去五十米即到。門口護城河過去就是老城牆，去北街步行可達。還贈品了咖啡券，現磨的豆子，不是廉價的速溶。

First impressions - Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to. - Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board. - Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking. - Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess. Service - Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient. - Housekeeping: Prompt and discreet. No intrusions at odd hours, which I appreciated.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say the reception team truly made my experience unforgettable. From the morning shift to the evening and even late at night, every single one of them was incredibly kind, caring, and attentive. They were always ready to help with a smile, no matter the time or situation. You can really feel that they love what they do their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made me feel so welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. Each interaction was filled with kindness and respect, and that made all the difference. 這次出行住的酒店真的太讓我滿意！房間乾淨整潔，一坐不染，細節之處盡顯用心。床品柔軟舒適，讓我每晚都能安睡。服務更是沒得説，最開始跑錯酒店了，本來想着退了，但是過了時間節點太晚了又害怕退不了，給前台溝通了一下態度特別好去了後還給我們升了個房型，從特價升到了豪華大床房從前台辦理入住時的熱情貼心，到入住期間各種需求的快速響應，工作人員都展現出極高的專業素養，讓人心裏暖乎乎的。而且價格實惠，性價比超高，在同等價位的酒店中脱穎而出。這次入住體驗太棒了，下次來這邊，肯定還選這家！

想找個地方放鬆，這家酒店完全符合期待！酒店環境雅緻，大堂設計很有格調，拍照出片率超高。房間景觀絕佳，拉開窗簾就是美景，裝修風格簡約高級，氛圍感拉滿。床品和洗漱用品品質上乘，體驗感舒適。服務温柔周到，不會過度打擾，給人足夠的私人空間。配套的休閑區域很舒適，喝杯茶看看風景太愜意了，是一次超棒的度假體驗～

The hotel room is spacious, tidy, and quite clean, with a very affordable price. Most importantly, the location is excellent — there are plenty of food and drinks just downstairs, including restaurants, fruit stalls, and beverages. It’s also very convenient to get a taxi, and the place is easy to find.

Great location next to a big mall. Great breakfast options. My room was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled a bit like cigarettes. Gym facilities were ok, but the pool was impressive.

The room was clean and the location is convenient, across the street from a shopping mall. The service is very good and friendly but the staff did not provide us with a lot of information on amenities at the hotel. We only found out about them later in the bedroom display. It would be better to have them also at the front desk.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Xiangyang Railway Hotel. First of all, parking is convenient and free, and it is just opposite Xiangyang Railway Station, so dining is also very convenient. There is a bus stop next to it, which is very convenient for buses to the high-speed railway station and tourist attractions. We stayed in a special room in the official building. Although the room was not very big, the service was very good. The sheets and quilt covers were changed every day. At 100 yuan a day, you can also park for free, which is really good value for money. Xiangyang Railway Hotel is a unit owned by a central enterprise and is trustworthy.
