"At first I wondered if the place was going to be ok...hallway smelled of smoke..BUT the room was clean and smelled fresh! The parking lot must have been in some type of tow away zone if you didn't have a slip from Super 8 on your dash.But it was a clean parking lot. It was a quite room and I slept like a baby. The bath tub was the only thing I didn't care for. It had been painted and the paint was coming off. Yeah I know...but defiantly the price was right and if I would have called and asked before booking they would have offered a discount for guest that had people in the Iowa City Hospital. They did write down the number to call ahead for the next time ...which I will do! Breakfast was good. I got there a little late so cereal and a muffin was it for me. If you aren't a "fancy pants" 😊 This hotel works great."

"Horrible Front desk employee would leave property unattended shower faucet broke. They moved us to another room only to come across bedbugs went to complain to front desk and the guy's friend was there wanting to start a fight with me Told the front desk first to call manager he refused when his friend threatened me I told front desk to call the police and again that was refused Next day I told the general manager about the situation and she would apologize with a smile making me feel like she didn't care. It was just horrible. I dont think all comfort inn bad this one just seemed Noone cared"
