"While planning our twelve-day trip to Jurmala, we searched for a quiet hotel near the Dzintari Concert Hall — and found this one! Overall, the four of us were very satisfied with this hotel. The quality of our rooms was in the range expected from a 4-star hotel. As it is situated a couple of minutes' walking distance from the main Jomas Iela street, there was complete silence during the nights, offering a good, refreshing sleep! The breakfast hall was quite large with a superb variety of food! There was an open sunbathing area on the top floor, but we used it only once. The lobby area at the entrance could have been a bit larger, but that is not really a minus. We carry splendid memories from our stay in the Rixwell Collection Seaside Hotel! A big Thank You to all the members of the friendly and helpful staff!"

"The hotel is very old – don’t be fooled and don’t book the hammam with massage (The Garden). We paid over €200, and the massage was supposed to last 30 minutes. Instead, they just scrubbed us with a sponge for maybe 18 minutes. The staff is unprofessional and doesn’t explain anything. If you want good service, it’s better to choose a different hotel."

"The room, although not large, had a lot of amenities we did not expect: electric kettle and tea; some plates, spoons, glasses and mugs; bathrobes and slippers; even a shoe horn. There was a refridgerator and a little balcony. The hotel is in an excellent location, a leisurely stroll from the beach and a block away from the main pedestrian street in Jurmala. We were awed by the breakfast: a fresh fruit starter; a basket of wonderful bread and croissants with butter and jam; and the usual warm breakfast dishes accompanied by coffee, all served quite stylishly."
