"The facilities at the resort are top notch. We had a lot of rain so having an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna helped pass the rainy days. The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. We had maid service every week. The one bedroom unit we had was very spacious. Just a note that the two restaurants on site are not open until the first of March. The restaurant by one of the 5 pools did serve breakfast starting mid February. A 4 minute walk to the beach and bus stop. Many many restaurants in the area. We loved the village as it was quiet. Not a party town although, there is always action around the beach pubs and restaurants. The resort is beautifully lit up at night. So is the beach area."

"Wasn't sure what to expect when we booked, but given our arrival time, 11.45 pm ,things went relatively smoothly. The room was surprisingly spacious, well equipped, and very clean. All requirements for a self catering vacation were catered for ,above and beyond. Down side, very thin adjoining walls. We had a couple 10 days out of 14 who basically had no consideration for anyone else's privacy. Noise from 6.00am and again until 2.00am in the morning. Apart from that, the area is great, pricier than I was expecting (being a portugal Newby). We opted for Chinese, Indian meals on a few occasions as we found spending circa £ 65 per night for mediocre food excessive. Saffron is brilliant. I totally recommend them if you're partial to a Ruby . Would I come again? Absolutely!.But I would try and find a room with no neighbours. "

"The whole complex is clean, calm and close to the beach. We had a two bedroom apartment which was fantastic. There is secure parking in the underground garage - our parking space was a bit awkward to get into (most of the others were fine), so we parked on the street/car park, which wasn’t a problem. The pool area was divided into adults only and family pools, both had lots of sun beds and varying shade throughout the day. Lunch at their restaurant was always good. Reception staff were really lovely, from check in, mid stay query and check out. The supermarket is a bit of a walk (10 mins), but on arrival there was water, milk, tea & coffee, which was great. Well stocked kitchen, pool towels and toiletries. We would be happy to return."
