"very friendly and approachable staff, good cleanliness throughout the hotel, such a nice and peaceful place (it was nice to just sit there listening to the birds), a breathtaking view, the breakfast was good (I particularly liked the oatmeal pancakes and the rice pudding and the corn bread); The bed and pillows were good and it was great that there was parking. In terms of negative points, I regret that the jacuzzi did not work 100% and I found that the shower had little pressure."

"A very good experience, peaceful and with everything you need for a short stay or a few days. We stayed for a week and everything was great, friendly service with quick solutions. The restaurant has a very varied menu; we tried many dishes and have no complaints about any of them—everything was delicious and the staff's service was impeccable. 100% recommended."

"What a lovely place to stay, modern hotel in the middle of villages and farm land where the owner grows his own grapes for white and red wine and has his own olive grove which he also presses himself in house. You are greeted as a friend and soon feel at home, such a lovely opportunity to stay in such a place with an owner who has a passion for wine and an on sight restaurant which tries to be a bit different whilst cooking traditional Portuguese food. Of course you have got to try the owners own white wine but for us the star was his red, a blend of delicious Syrah and Merlot grapes, truly lovely. Ample parking for your car, lovely views from our bedroom window overlooking the vineyards and swimming pool. The owner took us around his cellars and showed us where he made his olive oil, so very proud and enthusiastic about what he has achieved and rightly so. The hotel is named in honour of his mother and she would be extremely proud of her son, he really has done a great job. Lovely bedroom, nicely furnished, good air conditioning and the most comfortable bed and pillows, in five weeks of touring Spain and Portugal this was by far one of the more comfortable beds and really unhappy to leave it in the morning. The restaurant is lovely, the food quality is very good , the staff are excellent and our waiter (sorry do not remember his name), spoke great English and made very good recommendations for our meals which are decent portions so maybe consider sharing a starter. Breakfast was served on a platter to your table, breads, cheeses, ham, fruit etc. So glad we were able to stay the night here on our touring holiday, highly recommend."

"Nie było łatwo jechać na górę, ale środowisko było dobre. Odpowiedzialny za recepcję zadzwonił do mnie wcześniej i przygotował nam obiad do pokoju. Ponieważ pokój hotelowy rozproszony jest po wsi, zaleca się zatrzymać się, a następnie wziąć walizkę. Wsi jest spokojne i przystosowane do pustyni na noc. Nie ma półki, więc nie daje się wyliczyć."
