"the Location was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and provided us good service, which is unfortunately the two positive parts of our stay. when we arrive, the reception experience was very poor. No Information was given about the lodge or breakfast until I asked, and we were not even accompanied to our room. The condition of the room was disappointing. The shower and floors were dirty to the point where you could not shower without wearing flip flops. Housekeeping was also below standard. During our 2-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, dishes were not washed properly and both the bathroom and floors remained dirty. Only the beds were made. This was a very disappointing experience."

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, they even did a breakfast pack when we left early for one of our trips. Breakfast is served with pride, wonderful staff and great service. We have now stayed there twice, and will again on our next visit to Phalaborwa. If you want a place that is both comfortable and convenient for all that surrounds you, then choose ISO Bella Vita Guess House."

"This was our first stop on our South Africa trip, and I still cherish the memories. Finding a hotel like this in Kruger was truly beyond my expectations. Initially, I was just drawn to the hotel's beautiful pictures, but its location was amazing. We often saw small animals strolling slowly past the fence, creating a very unique experience. (We were so comfortable we forgot to take more pictures, haha!) Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, with carefully prepared and thoughtful food. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuine, making us feel cared for rather than just being served. The hotel owner gave us many practical and insightful suggestions, which greatly helped with our itinerary. The overall price was very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. This is a place I'd definitely want to return to. Highly recommended!!!"

The food was outstanding and the pool was a real highlight — not only great for relaxing, but also offering amazing views with wild animals coming right up to the area. Overall, we were delighted with our stay. Everything was wonderful and we can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable experience."

The guide and tracker were great, though the guide could have dialed down the showmanship narration a little. The game reserve has a lot of vegetation, so it is different than one with more wide open areas, but there are plenty of fascinating animals. Definitely family friendly."

It's also possible to see hippos, crocodiles across the river! The game drives were so great! We were able to see many beautiful animals! All the meals were amazing! Chef Phillip was great and made us delicious vegetarian options for our meals! It was really worth it!"

He bearly glanced at me, gave me a paper to complete my details, and ignored me from there. The lady showed me my room and gave me n slip with the Wi-Fi password. They did not provide any details about breakfast or if and where it is available, even though you pay for bed and breakfast. The room, even though beautiful, only had a ceiling fan in the seating area and nothing near the bed, and it was extremely hot. No windows to open, only a door leading to the veranda. I will not stay there again"

All of the staff went out of their way to be helpful at all times. We had a wonderful dinner cooked in front of us in the big open kitchen/restaurant. Breakfast was of equally high quality . The room was clean and very well appointed, the bed, the best I have ever slept in. We were given a map of the local area and went out for a short drive seeing Zebra, Impala, Wart Hogs & Kudoo. The owner of the property was available at all times and an absolute Gentleman - he even makes a point of being there to say goodbye to all of his guests even if only stay for the one night as we did.. "

A bar area provides a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a drink in the evening. The owner is happy to assist with any questions. A particular highlight is the provision of small cooler boxes for picnics in the nearby Kruger National Park. The rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, are very lovely. The bed, complete with a mosquito net, featured excellent mattresses. There is a small terrace located just outside the garden door. The staff are charming, and the dogs are adorable. The guesthouse is fenced and secure. A truly wonderful stay. "
