"I have traveled a lot and I have never had such a catastrophic experience as at the Four Point By Sheraton in Oran. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, there was no one to welcome us. The gentleman sitting at the entrance didn't even lift a finger to help us pass our bags through the security scanner. No member of staff came to help us take our suitcases to the room. The reception was dull, and the welcome during check-in was unparalleled. To top it off, one of the elevators was broken, and an unpleasant smell reigned in the common areas. Once in our room, we were disappointed by its smallness, the blurred view through dirty floor-to-ceiling windows, and bland decor that left something to be desired. The hammam was out of service, and in the spa relaxation area, only two deckchairs were available, placed in a corridor facing dirty bay windows. Fingerprints were everywhere. Additionally, the outdoor pool was closed, depriving us of even the opportunity to sit and admire the view. We eventually decided to leave for the neighboring hotel, the Oran Bay, where we met other guests who had also chosen to leave the Four Points."

"The hotel is an old-fashioned French-style building, ornate but slightly outdated, high-end but with little to no service. It's okay for a short stay, but I moved out the next day. It's located in the old town center, and there are many loiterers on the streets at night, so it's not very safe."

"We came to Oran one night for my friend's birthday. I mentioned during my reservation and reception that you were coming for a birthday if it was possible to have a candle, we never got a response! In short, it’s a fact. Arriving in the room we noticed that the cleaning was very poor, hair in the bathroom, seed peelings on the carpet in the room. We report this and we are offered to change rooms. In the second room it's not much better with a disgusting mirror in the bathroom, we point this out to the porter who tells us that he will report it to reception and more news. The breakfast is very good and varied but unfortunately the staff does not follow the girls (not all) chat with each other and clearly we are disturbing them! The room is comfortable but the hygiene needs to be reviewed, we liked the breakfast there is still a lot of effort to be made to be worthy of a 5 star at more than €250 or 5 million Algerian dinars per night we expect helpful, professional staff and impeccable hygiene!!! Access to the spa was offered to us to compensate for these defects but we were not able to take advantage of it. We remain rather disappointed with this experience which we will not repeat. I do not recommend the hotel which must review its standing to claim to be worthy of its price."

"It is very elegant and beautiful. Wonderful works of art and paintings are displayed everywhere, allowing you to reflect on the history of this country and region. There may be newer hotels in the same price range, but the atmosphere of this hotel itself is beautiful and blends in with the cityscape. The metro and beautiful architecture are right in front of it, and the sea is just a short walk away. If you are looking for something authentic, I don't think there is anywhere else."
