Staying at this hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk from the main street, food market, shops, bars, restaurants, and one of the many beautiful canals and scenic spots. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, with the concierge available at any time and always ready to help. They even went the extra mile by picking us up at the entrance gate and escorting us back to the taxi after check-out. Overall, everything was handled with great care and professionalism. I would highly recommend both Xitang as a destination and Shenyuan Boutique Inn as a place to stay. 这次入住体验非常棒。酒店位置极佳，步行几分钟即可到达主街、美食市场、商店、酒吧、餐厅，以及众多风景优美的河道和景点。房间和公共区域都非常干净，卫生状况无可挑剔，服务更是超出预期。工作人员热情周到，管家随时待命，耐心细致、乐于助人。入住和退房时，他们还贴心地在入口处接我们，并在退房后护送我们到出租车处，细节之处令人感动。整体来说，这是一家非常用心、专业的精品客栈。我非常推荐来西塘旅行的朋友入住 **慎园精品客栈**，也强烈推荐 **西塘** 这个美丽的古镇。

Perfect location - just a few minutes walk away from the scenic area but far enough to have a great night sleep away from the noise. It was not the easiest to find, as trip.com location wasn't accurate, however we got picked up from one of the entrance gates and guided to the property. The facilities are simple but smoke free, clean and very comfortable. The courtyard within was lovely and peaceful. We felt welcome.

Even before we arrived, communication was excellent. The owner met us in person and walked us to the hotel, located in a charming no-cars area right by the river, just 100 meters away. On the way, she gave us recommendations that turned out to be absolutely spot-on, we enjoyed our meal on the beautiful terrace thanks to her tips. In the evening, we asked for a knife to cut some fruit, and instead, she kindly brought it to us already cut and peeled, along with mosquito spray, such a thoughtful gesture. The hotel’s decor is tastefully done, combining style with real comfort, and we even had complimentary famous Wuyi rock tea, the best type to try! To top it all off, we were upgraded! We slept like babies and were amazed to wake up after 9 and a half hours of uninterrupted rest. Truly a perfect stay.

Great services, connected with the WeChat group before arriving and picking us up at the car park. Unfortunately the hotel and the room is totally different from what we booked. As explained by the front desk, our original room has just undergone sanitazation hence change us to another riverview room. We checked in then realised that there are two near to similar name hotels and believe both under the same management. We are looking for the black & white theme hotel as the picture published on the website but in reality we get another older hotel & room beside the river. Not sure what is the reason we don't get the exact hotel and room there since it is non peak season.

Stayed here for 3d2n on March 9 2025! The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is in Xitang which is a tourist area so come in after 5pm and the entrance fee is free! The hotel staff was really friendly as we left a note letting them know that my partner is a professional photographer so we booked a room with a balcony to take pictures. Before we checked-in, the owner offered to bring us to another hotel he owns in the area to see if liked the views there better but we still chose to stay in Manjuelong. The rooms are quite spacious and the hotel was quite quiet at the time. The hotel is situated inside a tourist area which was quite convenient for us to walk around and explore! If we go back to Jiaxing again, we will consider staying here again!

Pierwszy raz wybrałem ten hotel w Starym Miasto West. Położenie jest w domu Don, położenie jest bardzo znalezione. Główny Don, miejscowy, bardzo gadatliwy i entuzjastyczny. Pokój jest ozdobiony aromatyczny i nie ma małego miejsca.

The room was clean and hygienic, the sheets and duvet covers were new, the bedding was comfortable, and there was no unpleasant odor. The hotel has access control, so I wasn't scared staying alone. The owner was also very nice. I'd definitely go again if I have the chance! 😄

靠近3號停車場，晚上7點左右到，老闆來接的，客棧不臨河，需要走一個小巷子進去，裏面還不錯，有一個小庭院，屋子裡麪空間比較大，有一個大浴缸，就是打掃的不仔細，地上角落有煙頭、紙巾等，

The room was clean and cozy, located right in the center of Xitang village — super convenient! I got a bit lost at first because you need to buy a ticket to enter the area, but the hotel staff were very helpful. The manager even came to meet me and helped me find the way. Great experience overall!

Very nice hotel inside the ancient town. The only ”issue” is that we were not advised that we had to pay a fee for the entrance in the town.
