„Swan Lake Hotel enjoys a spectacular setting at the foothill of mountains and facing a large lake. If one gets up early enough, from the balcony of the room there's the beautiful sunrise to catch at the far side of the lake. The atmosphere is serenely beautiful! I occupied a luxurious spacious suite on the top floor basically made up of 2 rooms, one for the bedroom and bathroom, the other for a tea ceremony table. Each room has a large balcony and fabulous view of the lake. The bed is huge and the mattress is firm and very good in supporting one's back. The air-conditioning system thoughtfully offers a choice of cool or warm air to suit the seasons. There's a capsule coffee machine but no capsule was offered. Similarly, the beautiful tea ceremony table doesn't come with any tea at all. The bathroom is enormous with a toilet cubicle, double sinks, a bathtub and a shower. The shelf inside the shower cubicle has been designed a bit too small for placing toiletries. Maybe I missed seeing it, but I didn't notice any escape route plan which most hotels display on each floor in the lift lobby. The hot spring center is beautifully set in a garden. Numerous pools offer different fragrance of flowers or tea. Night time soaking is very atmospheric, but safety measure can be greatly enhanced by installing lights to shine in each pool of water. There's plenty of choices for breakfast in the buffet restaurant. The Chinese restaurant serves tasty local cuisine, some ingredient are even from local water and farms. The staff are very friendly and helpful in general, very accommodating with even special requests.”

„I stayed at the Chocolate Kingdom Hotel in mid-October. At that time, some facilities were already showing their age and seemed a bit neglected, and there were fewer staff members. However, I truly felt their dedication in every service they provided; their excellent service more than made up for any shortcomings in the hardware. We had a hot spring package. The hot springs were less crowded during the day and more so at night, so it was good to go at off-peak times. The package also included two-day tickets to Chocolate Wonderland, and at that time, there was a shuttle cart service. When I went back in December, the shuttle was gone, so I want to warn fellow travelers that if you're not driving yourself, think very carefully before booking, as it's a 20-minute walk from the park to the hotel. But since there was a shuttle service in October, and I genuinely felt their dedication in every service, I'm giving a good review for that stay. For December, I'd give a bad review.”

„The place is modern and wonderful. Suitable for groups of friends and families to spend their holidays together. The host is so kind to upgrade us to a better suite. As for dinner, he sent us a bottle of white wine as a gift. The surrounding environment is serene and pleasant. Breakfast is sufficient for us. If we happened to visit this area again, we will definitely be staying there once more.”

„I had a very positive stay thanks to the excellent staff. The receptionist was incredibly nice and helpful, and even arranged for a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise.The breakfast offered a standard selection, but what was there tasted very nice.The only minor issue was a clogged toilet in my room, but the hotel's response was impressively fast and they resolved the problem immediately. Their efficiency in handling this showed a real commitment to guest satisfaction. I would happily stay here again.”

„來英德出差好幾回了，這次住的維也納怡翠廣場店，真挺驚喜的，必須給個好評。 先説房間，乾淨是真乾淨。我這人對衞生挺敏感的，畢竟出差住酒店多，踩過不少雷。這次一進門就放心了——被子白凈、地板沒灰、衞生間角落都沒發黴，洗手枱擦得鋥亮，連馬桶圈都像新的一樣。洗完澡出來，光腳踩地上都不覺得臟，這種細節最打動人。 裝修也不錯，不是那種花裏胡哨的，走的是那種穩重大氣的風格。大堂挑高夠，燈一開挺有檔次。房間裏色調舒服，床頭有軟包，辦公桌也夠大，插頭設計得很合理，筆記本電腦、手機、手錶一起充電都不打架。窗簾遮光效果好，第二天睡到自然醒，還以為天沒亮。 最想説的是服務。辦入住的時候，前台看我拎着公文包，主動問要不要安靜一點的房間，還給安排了個高層。早上出門碰見保潔大姐，人家還沖我點頭問好，挺有温度的。晚上要了床新被子，幾分鐘就送到房間了。這種不打擾但隨時在的服務，最適合我們這種出差跑業務的。 下次來英德，應該還會住這兒。”

„This hotel is amazing, the wheat field is just outside the room, amazing view, and very friendly stuff. The restaurant serves very delicious local food. Amazing getaway option, very definitely come back again!”

„Этот отель — настоящее место силы и уединения с природой. Здесь невероятно приятная атмосфера: с первых минут создаётся ощущение, будто ты растворяешься в окружающем пейзаже. Уезжать отсюда совершенно не хочется. На территории есть разные варианты проживания: уютные домики и глэмпинг-палатки. Особенно впечатляют палатки у реки — виды здесь просто завораживают. Это идеальный вариант, чтобы прочувствовать атмосферу настоящего похода, но при этом с комфортом. Такой опыт действительно остаётся в памяти надолго. Для гостей есть много активностей: можно взять каяк и поплавать по реке или арендовать мотоциклы и прокатиться по живописным тропинкам среди невероятных природных пейзажей. Природа здесь буквально захватывает дух. Воздух настолько чистый, что иногда кажется, будто от него слегка кружится голова. Отдельно хочется отметить персонал — очень добрые, внимательные и вежливые люди, которые всегда готовы помочь. Наша палатка была с большой ванной, и это было особенно приятно: вечером можно лежать в тёплой воде и смотреть на звёздное небо — невероятное ощущение. Завтраки в китайском стиле: лапша, каша и баоцзы. Однозначно рекомендую это место тем, кто хочет убежать от городской суеты, перезагрузиться и провести время в полной гармонии с природой. 🌿✨”

„An incredible gem of a boutique hotel, run by a friendly host who anticipates and caters to your needs. This hotel is nestled between idyllic hills and farms, and a 20min stroll (or rent their bikes at 60rmb/day) to HuangHua where there’re great restaurants and supermarkets. It was exactly what we did not know we were looking for in a short getaway from HK to Yingde. The hotel itself is clean and modern, and the food was a pleasant surprise. Being foreigners used to western-style breakfast, we were initially apprehensive while booking, but the farm-to-table, home-cooked breakfast turned out to be absolutely delicious, such that we found ourselves looking forward to it on our second morning. We felt like we lucked out with this accommodation choice, as just within walking distance from the hotel, the host brought us to local hiking trails with quite the view (tip: go at sunrise, and if conditions are right you’ll get to see the “sea of clouds”), a climbing crag and an amazing cave you’ll have to yourself. The host, who turned out to be quite the explorer and adrenaline junkie in her younger years, happily took us to them, also showing us photo spots along the way. But perhaps the best kept secret of this hotel is hinted in its name itself. From its roof terrace, we saw shooting stars fly by above the glow of the region’s famous karst.”
