Obsługa była absolutnie boska! Kiedy tylko wysiadłem z samochodu, pracownik podbiegł, żeby pomóc z bagażem i zaprowadził mnie do holu, podając gorący ręcznik i herbatę, rozmawiając ze mną przez całą drogę. Odprowadzili mnie do windy, a nawet do pokoju. Codziennie wieczorem dostawaliśmy świeżo ugotowaną zupę z białych grzybów i czerwoną fasolą – po powrocie z Disneylandu to było naprawdę niesamowite! Pani sprzątająca codziennie zabierała nasze brudne ubrania, prała je i odnosiła czyste z powrotem do pokoju, a nawet zostawiała dodatkowe butelki wody mineralnej. Jeśli chodzi o Disneyland, wczesny autobus bardzo nam odpowiadał, bez ograniczeń co do liczby pasażerów. Wracając wieczorem, w autobusie były nawet woda mineralna i ciastka. Po całym dniu zabawy poprosiliśmy recepcję o miskę do moczenia stóp, którą również przynieśli nam do pokoju. Takiej obsługi to nigdzie nie ma!

Uważam się za osobę dość wymagającą, jeśli chodzi o hotele, i ta recenzja jest szczera i zasługuje na pięć gwiazdek. Wczoraj wieczorem dotarłem do hotelu dość późno, a hotel zaskoczył mnie dodatkową porcją owoców – przemiła niespodzianka! Temperatura wody była idealna, wystrój miał silny charakter, z nutą uroku Jiangnan, a oświetlenie i meble były ergonomicznie zaprojektowane, co czyniło je bardzo wygodnym. Mam nadzieję, że utrzymają ten poziom komfortu. Hol na drugim piętrze również jest przestronny, dzięki czemu nadaje się dla osób podróżujących służbowo, które chcą zatrzymać się w hotelu i jednocześnie pracować. Jestem przekonany, że ten hotel odniesie trwały sukces.

Check-in was quick and easy. The staff spoke excellent English. The room was as described and matched the photos. It was very large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. Room service was very quick and courteous. We needed an extra towel and it was brought within minutes. The food delivery by robot is funny, but I personally don't like eating from plastic bowls; I prefer a plate or bowl. The beach is great if you're travelling with children and the pool area is fantastic. Only the condition of the slide in the toddler area is no longer so good. The paint was peeling off in places and the play equipment in the water was very rusty in many places. The water in one pool was also very cloudy and didn't look very clean. But it was still a lot of fun... The breakfast was very good. There were even enough plates and cutlery for children. The selection was large and very tasty. The breakfast room was very clean and large enough for many guests, and the staff were very attentive and courteous. It was a very nice stay and I will definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Newly renovated room with top notch amenties and furnitures. Very comfortable stay although we are just there for a few hours. They provided hotel to pudong airport drop off as early as 510am which matches our need. They also provided free porridge at night as supper which is a plus. Can take didi to Disneyland Street which is around 10km away. They also provide pick up and drop off service for disneyland in morning and back at night if you need. Only downside was the breakfast they promised to provide for us to airport wasn't provided despite they said they will the day during check in. (breakfast was only from 7 to 10am and we leave for airport at 510am, so they said will provide us with bread and drink but was not given)

I went with my 4-year olds and my mom. The executive suite has the ample space for my kids to play around and a decent view of Pudon. We were welcomed with a bowl of fruit and a personal note from Alexander. But, i must say that the superb customer service started prior to coming in. A day before we checked in, I got a call from Elio asking me if there is any request regarding my trip the next day. I just requested for a few stuff for my kids, which they delivered upon checking- in. The two points that we really liked in our stay was the customer service and the tasty food of breakfast in “the cook”. My kids had cereals, noodles with soup, sausages, and yogurt. Personally, i like the salad bar and the freshly baked pastries. All in all, it was a Christmas trip that my kids loved because the lobby gave off a holiday vibe where we took pictures too.

Our stay at Banyan Tree Shanghai was truly exceptional from start to finish. We celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary there, and the team made it incredibly special for us. They thoughtfully decorated our room and surprised us with cakes and fruits as a kind gesture. We truly appreciated the effort — it made our celebration even more memorable. Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. We especially loved the in-room mini pool — the highlight of our stay was simply relaxing and enjoying a bath while taking in the view. Tales Rooftop Bar was another standout experience. It’s the perfect place to appreciate the stunning city and river views while enjoying drinks. They offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary snacks as well. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. Aside from the buffet selection, guests can also order freshly prepared dishes like noodles and eggs, which are served hot — a wonderful touch. The staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel valued and were always ready to assist with a warm smile. The overall ambiance of the hotel is peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect retreat despite being in a vibrant city like Shanghai. We highly recommend Banyan Tree Shanghai and look forward to returning in the future.

First of all, I want to thank Manager Peter for upgrading our room to Executive Room. It gave us an excellent stay and experience. He was very helpful considering he's the only one who can speak English. He even helped us with our Taobao orders, online food cravings, etc. Even when he's on leave, the other receptionist was calling him and let him talk to us in English. He didn't have to do that since it's late at night but still, we appreciate it. Pros: 1. The Executive room was huge. 2. Variety of breakfast at the hotel and the One Step Restaurant that serve western food. 3. You can do your laundry for free. 4. Make-up room service was consistent and gave us generous amount of water bottles. 5. The whole vibe of the hotel was light and positive. 6. Smart toilet. 7. The hotel area was huge and full of trees, we didn't mind staying at the hotel for a whole day because of how relqxing it was. 8. With fresh towels everyday and the room jas a dyson hairdryer. Cons: 1. Only one person can communicate in straight english but app translate works. 2. The location was a bit far from the nearest MRT station but since the fare was cheap, we didn't mind at all. 3. Other than the restaurant, there is no convenience store nearby so buying food might be a struggle. Make sure you buy food/snacks before going back at the hotel. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and will definitely recommend the hotel because of the service and the amenities. Thank you for the upgrade and youe service, Peter. 😊

Świetna obsługa: Odpowiedzialna osoba spełnia prośby gości. Dobre jedzenie: Chińska i zachodnia kuchnia w dwóch strefach, duży wybór i dobra jakość. Podczas posiłku można podziwiać piękny widok na Oriental Pearl Tower i rzekę Huangpu. Czystość: Pokoje są czyste, bez nieprzyjemnych zapachów i zakamarków. Ogólna ocena 5 gwiazdek, na pewno zatrzymam się tu ponownie.

Wygodny na wycieczkę do Disneya przy niższym budżecie niż hotel Shanghai Disney. Oba znajdują się w tej samej odległości od parku i mają bezpłatny transfer co 5 minut w godzinach szczytu rano i wieczorem oraz 15 minut pomiędzy. Hotel jest czysty, a obsługa jest świetna, jak można się spodziewać po hotelu Disneya. Woody i Jesse często pojawiali się w ciągu dnia, od recepcji w lobby, zajęć dla dzieci w ogrodzie itp. Hotel oferuje zajęcia dla dzieci przez cały dzień, jeśli nie wybierasz się do samego parku Disneyland. Wnętrze ogólnodostępnej części hotelu jest ładnie udekorowane wszystkimi szczegółami i dekoracjami Toy Story. W środku pokój wydawał się trochę mniej, ale nadal miał klimat. Pobyt w hotelu automatycznie przyznaje wczesny dzienny karnet wstępu do godziny przed otwarciem parków w dniu pobytu i dniu wyjazdu. Należy pamiętać, że bilety do parku rozrywki są nadal wymagane i należy je kupić osobno. Pobyt w hotelu umożliwi Ci zrobienie zakupów w parku i ich przesłanie bezpośrednio do hotelu do godziny 16:00. Wow what can I say about this hotel. I'm from Scotland and was weiry about booking a hotel away from shanghai city centre. Glad I did the city centre was far to busy felt like coming out of a busy concert. I shouldn't have been. Using Didi saved us the hassle trying to use public transport. Please note Didi (uber) ranged from £1.40 to £16 for a long journey. Didi arrived in 3 mins max WOW. You are close to the wildlife park and Disneyland you still need Didi to take you there but as the hotel offers a free shuttle then that cost isn't there. Shanghai Village is great for shopping again close by, across from disneyland The service in this hotel is 2nd to none. Derek (Manager) and his team are first class. I've never stayed at a hotel in which the staff make you feel so welcome. From a free gift, to a free upgrade. Free fruit and the willingness to help when you dont speak the language. The breakfast wasn't to my taste but looked lovely the staff went out of their way to buy bread and jam for us. We were offered a free bus to Disneyland we declined due to being to early for us. Didi only cost £4.80. But the offer was there. Derek and his team really go out of their way as I needed something printed off and was no hassle at all. I took his WeChat number (WhatsApp) just incase I got stuck I didn't get stuck but the offer was there and made me feel relaxed and not afraid to venture out knowing I could contact him. The hotel room was cleaned every day and was spotless. Room was very large, my room when I went to Hong Kong was a quarter of the size. Impressive! Has everything you need to be safe and comfortable. I genuinely can't fault this hotel and would have no hesitation to recommend to my family and friends. The surrounding area has a KFC and supermarkets there is a lot to choose from but more Chinese food is on offer. There is a bakery a few mins walk away and the bakery goods were delicious and I got my coffee from luckin coffee make sure you have the translater on your phone very easy to order if you have that plus the staff help too. So there you have it book this hotel and enjoy the hospitality Derek and his team offer you will not be sorry. I'm so glad to have stayed there sorry to leave.
