"I have stayed here 4 times in the last 2-3 months. But I feel I accepted mediocre service / response! Generally , the booking is done through our corporate makemytrip account - pricing is good. However, the frontdesk insisted that I could book directly and get good offers - Actually not when I tried this time, price was 30% higher and they never bothered to confirm booking. I reported this to a staff/manager there , no response!!! The rooms are good and clean BUT this time there was water stagnation in the bathroom. I reported this when I got a random call from the service staff checking on the service level , etc. but nothing happened post that!!! MacBook doesn’t connect to their WiFi and they don’t have a fix for this though the IT staff tried his best, on top it the mobile coverage inside is weak. So work gets hampered!!! On all this , when I dont get responses from a staff / manager for a detailed msg sent , I can understand their level of focus on customer service . I wouldn’t recommend this place 👆🏻for these reasons. But I found a few staff and food to be good."

"We stayed , me and my wife, at this Hotel in Ariyanur near Salem for one day. The rooms are clean, hygienic and very comfortable. Appreciated the cleanliness of the bed, towels and bathroom, in particular. Although they have no in-house restaurant, they serve coffee and snacks from the adjacent Adyar Ananda Bhavan. Staff are polite and responsive. "

"We booked and stayed two nights with our German Shepherd at Lake Forest hotel, Yercaud. The location is excellent, close to nearby attractions, and the continental food was genuinely good. Mr. Kasiraj, the F&B Manager, was attentive and professional — a clear bright spot. Staff overall were courteous. Unfortunately, the stay was undermined by a long list of operational failures: Power & connectivity: Frequent, prolonged power outages with no reliable backup. Mobile signal was unusable in our room, forcing total dependence on hotel Wi-Fi — which appeared to be unsecured, a real privacy concern. Room allocation: We were told on arrival that our booked room wasn't available because we had a pet, and were shifted without any prior warning. If pet policies restrict room choice, this needs to be disclosed at booking, not on arrival. Room condition: The lace curtains had partially come off their hooks, privacy concern again. The geyser was leaking hot water at the hose. No housekeeping was provided in two full days — not even a basic top-up. Stray dogs: Several stray puppies loitered around our room area, causing constant stress for our German Shepherd and making it hard to move around with him. Communication: The intercom was switched off stating thunder and with no alternative communication offered. Any request meant climbing a long flight of stairs to reception or the restaurant. Breakfast: The buffet was cancelled on checkout morning with zero notice, leaving us with very limited options. No feedback process: Despite all this, no one asked about our experience at checkout — a missed opportunity for the hotel to even know. Rating: 2/5 Good location and a genuinely capable F&B team, let down by poor maintenance, unreliable power, weak communication, and a lack of basic guest care. Needs serious operational fixes before it can be recommended with confidence."

"I visited Ishank in Yercaud, TN for a couple of days in October 2025. This is one of those hidden gems of India that one must visit, especially for those who love hill stations. Yercaud is gorgeous, my stay at the Ishank resort was absolutely splendid. I stayed at the SamSuite which was well furnished and had all modern amenities. The staff was attentive and ensured that I was able to make the most of my stay there. The property is extremely beautiful and the serene hill station setting of Yercaud makes it even more enthralling. Since the hill station is far from the city, the staff at Ishank resort ensured that they are well equipped with a restaurant and even had the essential first aid kits available. I was amazed how easily they were able to cater to delicious meals and even snacks. If you’re looking to get away from the hustle bustle of the city to a serene and charming atmosphere, the Ishank resort at Yercaud should be on your bucket list. I will definitely go back there again soon!"
