„The hotel was lovely, I was a bit put off by the reception staff who spoke to me via computer screens. They never looked at me when asking questions I personally feel this is rude. However they were able to store bags for us until we could check in. The pool is lovely not overly big and there was lessons going on but for a quick dip it’s fine. The hot tub is tiny even with 3 adults in it we were touching knees so that felt a-bit awkward sharing with strangers. Gym was fantastic. Was very impressed  Room was lovely very spacious we had a twin room first time I slept in a single bed since a child so not overly comfortable. Bathroom clean and massive bath which was great, our room did not have a window that could be opened but a fan was placed in our room, it didn’t work but after notifying cleaning staff they quickly replaced it.  Breakfast was good just what you would expect. From a buffet breakfast and we were seated very quickly both mornings. There was water machines on our floor and reception which we used regularly and we appreciated that touch.  Over all it was a good and I would stay again. The red and yellow hop on hope off bus stop is just around the corner also so handy if wanting to sightsee.”

„From the moment I booked this hotel it was all perfect! Perfection improved when we got a free upgrade. The reception staff were very professional. The hotel is modern and clean. Room was really clean with crisp white bedding and pristine modular type bathroom. There was a hairdryer (as expected) , there was an iron and ironing board (not expected). The hotel is extremely central but there was little or no street noise for being next to a city road and above a Wetherspoons and our room was only on the first floor. Bath towels were sparkling clean and a great size. In room soaps etc were very nice too. I had a great sleep however my husband has a less than perfect sleep due to my snoring and having a lovely comfy bed. Ha ha! I will definitely have this as a go to hotel when I’m in Glasgow. 10/10 for a great visit.”

„The hotel is very clean and tidy, and it’s quite close to the train station. However, it’s a bit of a walk to the other Queen Street Station, around 10 minutes, which is still acceptable. There is also a Lidl supermarket behind the hotel. It’s located by the river, but I wouldn’t recommend going to the other side of the river at night.”

„The hotel was perfect from the friendly reception staff on arrival to the breakfast the following morning. The room was immaculate, not new and sparkly, but tastefully decorated with quality well maintained equipment, fittings and furnishings. All the basics, bed, shower, toilet and basin worked and performed superbly. Bedding, covers, sheets and pillows were pristine, crisp, and the mattress was exceedingly comfortable. Plenty of hanging space, iron and board, hairdryer and fridge. Spotlessly clean. Service for breakfast was unusually efficient for a large hotel. They knew exactly how to cope with a busy breakfast service. Buffet for drinks and cold items, service for Cooked. The full scottish breakfast kept me going all day. Will definitely return to this hotel.”

„Hotel jest trochę zgubiony. Materiał sofy zginął i był pokryty szalupą. Nie było udogodnień, takich jak bawełniane bulwy. Zasłony w sypialni nie można było zamykać odpowiednio, aby zablokować światło rano, ponieważ haki w zasłonach były niewłaściwie umieszczone. W sumie, pokoje hotelowe są zmęczone, ale pracownicy są przyjazne z wygodną lokalizacją i dowództwem.”

„We had a fabulous stay at the Fraser Suites. Perfect location in the Merchant Quarter, a short walk to the city centre. The place itself is really lovely, well decorated, nice touches (like L'occitane toiletries and canowater in the fridge), nice linens and excellent staff. It was a little noisy at night, but to be honest we slept through most of it. Light sleepers might want ear plugs. Everything else made up for it!”

„My room was immaculate and I was well situated to take a tour which left from Buchanan bus station, which was literally a two minute walk. I appreciated this greatly since the tour left early at 7:45 AM. I was very happy with everything …you’re in the city center And everything was better than expected.”

„We had stayed here for two nights, I can't comment on the food/drink as we went out as most places were a short walk away. The location was very good with being a short walk to Glasgow Central train station and city centre. Reception staff were friendly checking in, however the room we were given had not been cleaned... Went back to reception and they had apologised and changed our room with a slight upgrade. This room was immaculate and all the amenities gave it that little bit extra luxurious touch; use of a cosy white robe, slippers, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. I loved the sustainability efforts with their toiletries being plant based and vegan friendly! The bathroom had a rain shower with really good pressure and easily enough to control and a bathtub. The only cons were there was a small towel rail in the bathroom which was a slight struggle to fit them on to dry. The TV in the bedroom area did not work and we only found this out on our last night. There was only one lift operating and the other one was out of service, so best to leave anywhere in plenty of time.”

„Right next to Queen Street station in the centre of Glasgow. Spotless room and bathroom. Kept running out of milk jiggers but reception and room service restocked them straight away. Very pleasant and helpful reception staff. Road outside is being dug up for the renovation of the square but once inside the hotel we heard nothing. Left bags to collect prior to catching train. All went smoothly. Will be staying there again. Very impressed.”

„Friendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night. Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern. Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it. I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management. Won’t be returning or recommending.”
