Hotele w: Taihu Lake/ Eastern Mountain/ Western Mountain, Suzhou

It was really a good calm atmosphere far from city , with good rooms and lovely staffs , the breakfast was more than enough and so much of varieties were there , the overall stay was a experience , will stay again

Our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was nothing short of memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, which set the tone for an amazing experience for our entire family. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a modern yet inviting ambiance that instantly made us feel at ease. We were particularly impressed by the range of facilities that catered to everyone in the family. The hot springs were a highlight for us, providing a tranquil escape and a perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. The water was just right, and the surroundings were serene, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool was also a big hit, especially with the kids. Spacious and well-maintained, it offered plenty of room for swimming, splashing, and simply having fun. The kids’ playground was another wonderful feature that our children absolutely loved. It was well-designed, safe, and filled with engaging activities that kept them entertained while we enjoyed a bit of downtime. Food at the Novotel Suzhou was a true treat! The morning brunch had a diverse selection of delicious items that catered to all tastes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making each meal a delightful experience. We looked forward to each dining experience, knowing there was something new to try and savor. The afternoon brunch was another stand-out feature. It was a luxurious affair with a mix of international and local flavors that kept us coming back for more. The chefs clearly took pride in their craft, and it showed in every dish. Overall, our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was filled with wonderful moments, from relaxing in the hot springs to enjoying family time at the pool and playground. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting family memories, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The views of Taihu Lake are absolutely stunning. We originally booked a king room, but after speaking with Trip.com customer service, they upgraded us to a lake view room. The official photos of the lake view rooms looked beautiful, but upon checking in, I was a little disappointed. The lake was still quite far away. However, we could still see Taihu Lake from our room, and the room itself was quite spacious. The breakfast, though, was just so-so – basically just noodles and a salad.

This summer, I took my child to the Marriott hotel by Lake Tai in Suzhou for a weekend getaway. Before our arrival, the hotel butler called and mentioned they'd add me on WeChat, but they only did so at the front desk after we'd checked in. I had already informed the Ctrip customer service to request a room upgrade and late check-out, but when I repeatedly asked about the upgrade at check-in, I didn't get a direct answer. They did grant the late check-out though. The room was just so-so; the pillows were incredibly soft and very uncomfortable to sleep on. The placement of the trash cans was also quite inconvenient; there wasn't one near the sink. The recreation center was pretty good, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor pool was 27 degrees Celsius, and the water had just been changed at the end of June. The outdoor pool had a children's play area, which my child thoroughly enjoyed. On Saturday nights during the summer, there was even a pool party with fireworks. The recreation center also had mahjong rooms, table tennis rooms, and billiard rooms, but all of these cost extra. Breakfast was truly disappointing; the variety didn't meet five-star hotel standards, and the dishes were the same for both days of our stay. We even had to ask a staff member for spoons, which was quite inconvenient. On the night of our arrival, I asked the butler for body lotion, but it took a long time to arrive. Overall, the staff wasn't very enthusiastic.

東山賓館收藏已久，我是國賓館愛好者，感覺國賓館選址都非常講究，依山傍水，風水寶地，這次趁天氣好攜全家出遊，入住酒店體驗很好，酒店中餐廳出品穩定，房間舒適，附近值得一逛的景點有東山莫釐峯（適合徒步），雨花勝境（適合不走野路的輕徒），酒店碼頭喝茶看紅嘴鷗，酒店還有一家三口的萌寵羊咩咩，雕花樓（建議請個講解，收穫頗豐）。這次感謝總枱小馮的貼心服務，有機會再來一遊👍

The ambiance is very homely, peaceful and tranquil. All the staff are friendly and hospitable from the reception, to the restaurant and the housekeeping staff. The room is spacious and the view is very relaxing. The food is yummy and healthy . Order their delicacies straight from the Taihu Lake. Highly recommend this hotel for those who want to explore Suzhou.

The Holiday Inn Suzhou Taihu Lake is conveniently located right next to Lake Taihu and is accessible via Metro Line 5. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, with some simple children's play equipment in the lobby on the first floor where kids can have fun. The Chinese restaurant on the 13th floor offers a breakfast buffet and a light lunch menu. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the family suite can accommodate up to four people, making it perfect for family trips.

Hengshan Island's rare pure first-line lake view housing, lighting and landscape are directly full. The sunrise atmosphere of Taihu Lake in the early morning is excellent. The room type on the first floor has a private soup with a small independent courtyard, which is very private. A large area of the lake lawn can be camped and barbecued, the environment is clean and elegant, away from the crowd, and it is too suitable to relax for a short trip.

Very warm welcomed by hotel staff, high standard service, front desk team is really friendly at check in and check out. Highly recommend to stay.

We stayed at the Taihu Xiangting for two nights in March, as we needed to be in the area for a family matter.  The hotel is convenient if you want to be near Tai Lake.  If you are looking to explore the main sites in Suzhou, however, it is a fairly long drive into the city center. We booked the Elegant Suite, which was beautiful and quite large.  Unfortunately the bathtub didn't work, which was a bit disappointing.  But the room was quite comfortable and afforded two very good night's sleep.   We booked with breakfast, which was good Chinese style cuisine.  There is a wonderful restaurant in the hotel, but note that it is only open for dinner.  We would recommend to try the restaurant.  The staff was wonderful and even stayed open late to serve us.  For other meals, such as lunch, you will need to venture out and there is not much around.  Best to keep some things in the room when you are not out and about.  If booking the hotel, we would suggest the Suite due to enormous size, replete with gaming table!
