Hotele niedaleko Shinjuku Area w Tokyo

We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku and checked out & left our bigger luggages at the hotel conceige as we would like to travel light to other city to visit our friend (staying in Japan) for 2 nights. We came back to stay again with Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku after the short trip. There are also storages at Subway/train station with fee charges apply to store your luggage according to the sizes and storage duration. Photos (for your reference only) provided are the storage with fee charges located opposite road of Keio Department Store at Shinjuku station.

Nice hotel, conveniently located. The room is fitted with a lot of essentials, e.g. Cotton wool with a hair band, charging adaptor, very clean and neat. We totally enjoyed our stay there.

Hotel is not difficult to find but it’s not near train station. The area here is a bit messy with tons of human traffic like tourists and locals. I don’t like the environment here as the crowd at night here seems a bit rowdy with many locals round n old here looking for drinks and entertainment. Early in the morning, like 7am, you will see drunk people stumbling out of clubs, vomiting and even pee on the streets! Yes it’s that messy. Overall I won’t stay here again. Too crowded but young people may like the place for its variety of food n drinks places. Hotel staff is friendly n room is decent size not too small.

There is also 2 in 1 washing machine with dryer at L18 at the south tower for usage starting from 500yen, depending on what the features you would like it to be, best of all, it comes with detergent. The staff is known for their professionalism, attentiveness, and hospitality, ensuring that guests feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout their stay. The attention of all the staffs to detail from check in and amenities reflects the commitment to providing a high-quality experience for guests. A reasonably priced hotel in Shinjuku about 15-20 minutes walk from the Shinjuku Train Station. You can get to this train station via the Narita Express on your way from or to the Narita airport. It is difficult to find the first time, basically use the East Exit and head North from the Shinjuku Train Station. You need to walk around the Cinema complex (use the West side as the East side is a tad more seedy at night). The staff were very helpful and polite. They helped with maps and suggestions of places/areas to visit. The twin room we had (Room 1004 on the 10th floor) had a view and the biggest shower/bath room that I have ever seen in Japan. The room had a bright neon pink sign ”Never ending journey” in the room on the wall for some reason (it can be turned off but just well...so Japan). The room was clean, modern and though relatively small was nice and comfortable. The hotel in general looked quite new. The hotel is close to the Shinjuku neon night life which has to be seen to be believed (walk back towards the station). So many bright neon signs and young people around enjoying themselves. The area of Shinjuku takes on a different life at night. You can walk to the Golden Gai area (full of small bars) which is apparently an attraction. We saw the area during the day when mostly everything was closed (there are lots of CCTV cameras and warnings about not fighting).

The old 5-star hotel is quite satisfactory. There are many European and American tourists. It is about a 15-minute walk from the Shinjuku business district. The taxi costs 700 yen. The fly in the ointment is that the price is too expensive.

Great location . very near to bus stop family mart and lawson. also thiers a grocery mart called eaon which is cheaper . just be carefull not to leave your keycard when you go out at night coz thiers no recieption after 10pm.

I recently stayed at Imano Hostel in Japan and found it to be a blend of positives and negatives. Pros: • Great Location: The hostel is situated in a convenient spot, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. • Unique Building: The property has the charm of an old building, adding to its character. • Welcoming Reception: The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. • Additional Amenities: The inclusion of a coffee bar within the hostel is a nice touch. Cons: • Poor Cleanliness: Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the bedrooms and bathrooms was a major letdown. Both areas were poorly maintained and did not meet basic hygiene standards. • Noise Issues: Despite the appealing look of the reception and bar area, it tends to get very crowded and noisy. This significantly affects the ability to get a good night’s sleep. • Price Point: When compared to other hostels in the area, Imano Hostel is on the pricier side, which doesn’t seem justified given the issues with cleanliness and noise.

It's becoming a regular place... But this time i took the time to enjoy the showers options. Just great. Reminder, even if you are tall (6 feet), the showers and the sleeping pods are tall and large enough. The common area gives you an amazing view, space and seats to work or relax in a wonderful environment. And you have access to free drinks. Lockers are spacious too. The locker - sleeping pod - common area - going out is a bit unusual with the elevator system. But it allows the place to feel safe for women... Or at least make sure that no one enter the place without passing by the lobby (8th floor). So, remember to reserve time to get used to it... Specially at the check out.

Staff is polite and check in was a breeze. The room is small as expected as its a room for one person. The fridge does not have capacity to make ice, only for cooling. There is a microwave for common use on the 5th flr. The breakfast is super simple and light. Only soup, pastries, coffee, apple juice, small hamburger for meat, cabbage salad. Not much of choice.
