What a Memorable Stay at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu during my visit to Tokyo on August 25, 2023, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot in the hotel until the time of my departure, everything was simply exceptional. First and foremost, the location of the hotel is unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Shibuya, one of Tokyo's most vibrant and energetic neighborhoods, it offers unparalleled convenience. The hotel is just a stone's throw away from Shibuya Crossing and the bustling Shibuya Station, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. I found myself immersed in the vibrant a**osphere and surrounded by countless dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The staff at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu are deserving of special mention. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were always available to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and assist with any requests I had. Their professionalism and genuine friendliness truly made me feel like a valued guest. The room I stayed in was elegantly decorated and impeccably clean. The comfortable bed, along with the well-appointed amenities, made for a restful and enjoyable stay. The room offered stunning views of the city, allowing me to witness the vibrant Shibuya skyline both day and night. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience at the hotel's restaurants. The breakfast buffet was a delightful spread of both local and international dishes, catering to all tastes. The quality and variety of food exceeded my expectations, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed to start my day on a high note. Lastly, the hotel's facilities were excellent. The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing me to maintain my workout routine even while traveling. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was essential for staying connected and planning my daily activities. In conclusion, my stay at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu was nothing short of exceptional. Hotel was easy accessible from Shinjuku station through an underpass. There’s a video from hotel website that shows how to get to hotel using the underpass. There are eateries/restaurants/Lawson/familymart in the hotel. Lobby looks nice and grand. However the room and toilet are kind of old fashioned. Luckily it was still quite clean. The laundry machine for washing and drying were separate. After wash you have to go and manually transferred to dryer :( and you can’t monitor the washing status through tv. 2 other hotels we stayed b4 have this service. The rooms and facilities needed an upgrade. Will not come back again.

First time staying in a capsule hotel and surprised on how good they are for a Solo traveler. They are great with everything you need shared toilets and showers, lockers downstairs. The capsule is clean and tidy. Cheap stay and walking distance to Tokyo Tower and Roppongi party area also the train station is just around the corner. I'll be staying there again. Thank you :)

The beds, toilets and showers were very clean. However, I could not sleep well as the room was too hot in winter. Woke up sweating a few times and had difficulty falling asleep again. The slightly noisy fan did not help. There is no place to have a meal indoors, altho the roof terrace is great when it isn't raining. Coffee shop is too pricey so I didn't try it. Service staff were friendly and helpful. Guests should try not to talk in the dormitory after 10pm.

One of the dropoff hotel for the orange airport limousine bus. Note that its the last stop. First stop is Shinjuku Station. So of you don't want to wait and don't mind walking just a little, you can actually stop at Shinjuku Station as it takes another almost 20-30mins to route to the hotel even though its so near. I proceeded to one of the checkin counters and the front desk staff asked for my passport. She returned me my passport after checking my booking and confirming it. Then she brought me to another counter who asked for my passport again. He too checked my booking and confirmed it. Then brought me to the auto check in machine and guide me to check in which is quite easy. Right from the start the staffs should have just direct me to the machine instead of manually confirming my booking twice. I just find it abit unnecessary 😅 Crazy selection of self service amenities available right beside the lift. Room was clean but crazily small. My 6feet tall husband looks so out of place in the room and so in the way. 😂 Good thing was the bed is high enough to even put my thick luggage underneath. Excellent idea. 👍 TV has netflix and youtube. 3-4mins walk to the nearest exit from Shinjuku Station.

Until 3 days ago, the FS on Koh Samui was in a terrible eye. There is a dignified air in Ray, and everyone at the Grand Club, I swelled my stomach to the fullest in the club lounge (this time it was 20 years １ delicious). When did you lose money? Great hotel in central location. Rooms are big and comfortable for Tokyo standard and it’s a short walk to central shibuya crossing and JR line. Hotel breakfast was good and service by staff were very friendly. Big plus for those who are planning to ride a airport bus, the hotel is a stop for drop off and pick up.

There is 2 station Shinjuku-sanchome 12mins walk uneven path with down and uphill, hitachi-shinjuku 10mins walk road wasn’t that great either , JR station 15mins walk , no recommend if u have big luggage , hotel room stated 17-18sqm but I doubt so probably 13-14 only. Can’t even open my big luggage and yet we have 2 big and 2 small. Noisy area as is nearby kabuchiko. The only good bout this place is where there are many drug store and is much cheaper than other places

The location of the hotel is very convenient and I am familiar with it. The design of the hotel is very good and clean. It is the only fault that the bed is too small. The last time I felt it was a fly in the ointment. This time I added a budget to the big room but it was still a 1.3m bed. It is best to note the size of the room bed afterwards, and it is also convenient to select the room, because this has a very big relationship with the experience.

The hotel is very cosmopolitan the clienteles are mostly international. The service is excellent and the view is fantastic on a clear Day you can see Mount Fuji. The breakfast buffet is good but he’s too busy for my liking.
