All in all a very reasonable stay, just one negative one was unable to use HDMI cable, as the television was built into the wall. Apart from that the members of staff were very helpful, and I did enjoy my stay. Kind regards Leigh Foster

The Room was fine and the building is historical and beautiful. Sadly the spa is nothing great its more like a hotel with a pool and some treatment rooms. The outside pool was not available so it was just a normal size swimming pool with a whirlpool on it. Also they said its open till 8 and then at 18:00 they told us to leave as they gonna close?? The spa was one of the main reason we came and it was disappointing. The rest was fine. Food a bit overpriced.

The room had an unpleasant smell, but overall the experience was okay. It was good. The room was very nice and pretty, but there was not enough amenities in the lobby area other than that, the day was really good and peaceful

Parking is not clearly advertised as an extra £8 and I booked with trip which should include a free upgrade if available. Hotel seemed very quiet on a Sunday night but no upgrade offered or referred to. Ir the 20% discount in good and drinks I was entitled to was not mentioned either. The rooms are nice but the surprise fee for parking and no complimentary upgrade when applicable and available was disappointing as was the mechanical approach if the receptionist at check in.

I recently enjoyed a relaxing stay at Barton Hall. The grounds are beautiful, and the spa was a highlight, especially in the sunshine. However, the breakfast was disappointing. The English breakfast options were too salty, and the juice tasted synthetic, making it poor value for money. The staff were somewhat strict about the rules for accessing the spa, which felt a bit excessive. Despite this, they were generally helpful and courteous. Overall, a nice stay with lovely surroundings, but some improvements needed in breakfast quality and staff approach.

The hotel was very light and bright. The access to the rooms was challenging with the luggage up and down stairs. l wouldn't choose this again for those reasons unless l could request an accessible room. Ken, the chef, was excellent in the restaurant he met my vegetarian need and was very friendly and offered an excellent service

LLennox.We stayed here at Rushton Hall, May bank holiday weekend. We decided we needed something different, something special this bank holiday and this place did not disappoint one little bit. Its fair to say that this place has a rare, quiet and magical feel to it. From the moment we drove up the drive and stepped inside, the modern world just seemed to fade away. The manor’s old-world charm isn’t just in the architecture; it’s in the incredible sense of calm that settles over you. We stayed in the zodiac room, and was wowed as soon as we stepped into it, stunning... just WOW! The spa is super indulgent and relaxing just what you need with the amazing setting. The staff are great too, they are really attentive. Breakfast was exceptional was going to give it a miss but glad we didn't, highly recommend having it if your staying so many high end quality options to choose from. We had an absolutely beautiful stay. The house has a wonderful, timeless character that makes you slow down and breathe. If you’re looking for genuine relaxation and a touch of something special, this is it. A total sanctuary we both left there feeling completely restored, and relaxed. We cant wait to return.

GGuest UserNice environment, small courtyard with a bar, rich breakfast, friendly staff, but the room heater is broken, had to take out 2 spare oil tinctures, heating is also very slow, the room can't find wifi, so weak that it disconnects when connected, the bathroom is tidy, but why is the hot towel rack installed so high? Heat rises, this is common sense, doesn't the decoration design company understand? The towel rack is so hot that it burns your hands, but the whole bathroom is ice cold.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, aircon worked very well, breakfast was fantastic and restaurant staff were very friendly and fast, SPA facilities and staff were lovely. TTheVoyagerLovely hotel easily accesible via the motorway. Good selection of food for breakfast including eggs made to order and waffles which you can make on your own. We attended a wedding close by and when we got back from the party, were really grateful that Hilton had a self-paying kiosk with bottled water and snacks. Will stay here again next time we’re in the area.
