There are three machines that can be used for check-in and also exchange for 100 yen coins. ✅ A small gift bag of slippers for children is provided upon check-in. ✅ Water bottles are provided in the rooms. You can refill your water bottle on the 3rd floor. There is also an unmanned vending machine on the 3rd floor with a microwave. ✅ Both men's and women's public baths have washing machines. However, the password for the women's public bath changes daily; please pick it up at the front desk. ✅ Public bath hours: 15:00-24:00 / 6:00-10:00 00 ✅ The front desk staff are all young and provide excellent service. Although their English isn't great, they are very friendly. If you speak English too fast, the staff might not understand you, so it's recommended to use a simple translator to translate it into Japanese and show them the screen. ✅ Check-in is at 2 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. If you want to check out before 2 PM, it costs an extra $1000 yen per hour. ✅ The hotel reminds guests to close the bathroom door when showering to prevent steam from affecting the smoke detector and igniting the fire extinguisher. ✅ The room rate is really cheap. I saw it on Ctrip. The room is 29 square meters. My room cost $79.19 and $91.20 per night. I once booked a room for less than $72 per night, but I canceled it. ✅ Overall, everything was great. The location is great, and the price is exceptionally high, except the pillows aren't very comfortable. 💠There aren't many places to visit in Matsue, so I recommend staying near the station. Even if you don't know how to use public transportation, you can take a bus from the station and back. It's really difficult to hail a taxi on the street. Uber exists, but you can never get one. In the sweltering 35-degree Celsius midday heat, it's unbearably hot! 😭 💠Staying in Matsue allows you to visit Izumo Taisha Shrine, the Adachi Museum of Art in Shimane, and even Yonago and Tottori.”

BUT, a big but is hotel is very old , like in the 80s, very dark in the building like ghost will come out. Furthermore , NO wifi! This is probably the style of this group hotel. I stayed in other hotel of universal, some better some worse. I will still recommend it”

„我好喜歡這個酒店，很大的窗台，特別美的日式風格。我來是為了帶我的玩偶看出雲大社和海邊，結果第一天下很大的雨，第二天出太陽陽光照進窗户看起來特別特別好看，整個房間都金燦燦的。而且還能泡温泉（還是浴池？（雖然我沒去泡）有私人的和公共的，晚上的自助餐可以吃的也有很多，需要300塊錢，但是都很精品很好吃（三文魚口感真的好棒） 離出雲大社和海邊真的很近，我早上六點半去的一個人都沒有，天氣很好但是不熱，買了御守還寫了御朱印，很開心！（｡＞∀＜｡）距離海邊衹用走三四十分鐘就可以，可以去沙灘，也基本沒有人，很好拍照 附贈幾張我拍的玩偶的照片（p2就是在酒店窗户拍的太出片了吧）”

„Suitenkaku was our first stay in a Ryokan. Those who want to visit Tottori, Izumo and Sakaiminato will find Matsue well located, while the Ryokan is next door to the Ichibata railway deserving the Izumo Taisha. The room was renovated and very spacious, offering a direct view to the lake. Above all, the staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. Real Omotenashi ! We are fully satisfied with our stay.
