Hotele Pet friendly w: Zhejiang, China

I had a great stay at the Sheraton in Huzhou, which sits right on the beautiful Taihu Lake. The hotel itself is a major attraction, and every room comes with amazing views and excellent facilities. The villas are especially impressive, each one has its own hot spring and a private swimming pool, which makes the experience even more relaxing. The hot spring area at the hotel is super comfortable, and the night light show is absolutely spectacular. Walking around the lake and around the hotel feels peaceful and enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Lucy Liu from the front office. She speaks good English and acted almost like a personal butler during my stay. She helped with everything, planning the hot spring visit, suggesting nearby boating options, and offering support whenever needed. Her kindness really made my stay even better. This hotel is great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Highly recommended!

Shaoxing is so undervalued in the Jiannan area. If you can tolerate the scent of stinky tofu, you would enjoy the leisure time at Shaoxing. This holiday inn located in the old town area is by the side of water channel within 2min of walks to the stone streets. Perfect location for citywalkers. Their friendly staffs, Dongzhi, Qiufen and Jingzhe will help you to pick up your luggage and communicate with you through WeChat (the Chinese version of WhatsApp). We will come back to this place in the future. BTW. Their cat, namely Rich, is friendly and lovely too. Purring and squeezing eyes to travelers is her special talent! 🥰

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and found it beautiful, with its rich historical architecture, definitely a sight to see and experience. We were especially impressed by the customer service provided by the staff member named Ling Guo. She and the other staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance.

This are many good things that I like and one thing that can break the deal.  I like the room because it is bright. It has many lights. It is big too. I like the virtual assistant whereby you can control the curtain , the lights, the air conditioner and the VA is also smart enough to reply ‘yes’ in different way. The air conditioner however seems to have one temperature setting. It is always too cold or it keeps on blowing air and doesn’t have a thermostat.  The room however has no shelf space. No closet, no rack to place your luggage. The bathroom its translucent so a person taking shower , one can see a figure. I like the sofa and the table but the chair doesn’t like stable.  The breakfast is buffet style. It has quite a bit of variety and it changed on the 2 mornings that I ate there. There is a snack after 9 pm . I waited 25 minutes for a simple bowl of noodles. There were 5 people ahead of me and each bowl of noodles required time to heat up.  The staff has cold bottle waters in the lobby. There is no fridge inside your own room.  There is a washing machine and laundry that one can use for free. The staff said it would take out my laundry from the washing machine and put it in the dryer and they did. However , one inconsiderate guest took out my clothes from the dryer when they weren’t completely dried. He had 4 or 5 things to wash and he used 2 washing machines. I think because it is free and the guest wanted to maximize the usage of the free things. The hotel cannot control this kind of behavior. It is better if the laundry room is behind lock doors and only the staff can access it and of course, wash the clothes for the guests.  The toilet is something that I didn’t like. The moment you sit down, it flushes water and then if you move, it flushes again. But the problem that I had was the water was so strong that my buttocks were wet. I told the staff and he came to reduce the water flow which solved the problem.  One my last night there, I went to the bathroom 4 times and the last time I  was shocked to see a cockroach on the floor. It wasn’t moving but I wasn’t sure so I killed it. I dislike cockroach in any hotel. If I see this comment ( about cockroach sighting )  , I wouldn’t have stayed there because I am afraid there is an infestation and there will be cockroaches crawling all over me and enter my packing cubes , my clothes and my luggage. I was thinking it would be best not to write it in the comment if the hotel staff said they will would fix the problem. I spoke to the woman who welcomed me the first day. She was very nice and positive up to that point. When I told her about this issue , she said 沒辦法, it is impossible to resolve or there is no solution. Granted, this hotel has 8 stories and it is big. Eradicating pests and cockroaches, ants is not a simple thing but it is certainly not impossible. If China can collect samples from the moon and send astronauts to their own space lab, why is exterminating cockroaches be 汲辦法? Instead of taking a systematic approach to prevent further potential infestation , she said it is not possible.  I like this hotel. It has a lot of potential. The staff was helpful and always eager to help. The room is the best that I stayed in for my  trips and one of the best. ( the one in Pu’er is even better because the staff took my clothes, wash it, dried it, fold it and return it plus there was no cockroach problem ).  I hope the staff will take note of the opportunities presented to them by the guests , and make improvement. If I were to give a score, it would be 8/10 . 2 big points taken out because of the cockroach. 

Excellent front desk service. Clean and spacious room. Will come back again.. Keep it up!

Service: BELOW AVERAGE (Replied the Staff via WeChat on Seasonal Sweet Soup delivery timing but ultimately informed it’s running out unavailable), 4. Others: Room booking inclusive of Cocktail & Hanfu experience photography were the Vendors inside Xitang Ancient Town where the later just those very old costumes for FREE digital photo x 5 5. Experience of Stay: BELOW AVERAGE (large room for Frontline Service Staff to improve its service to be more organized delivery of items inclusive in the booking & check-in Processes not to miss out), 6. Overall: AVERAGE (Frontline Service Staff, Ms. XIA & Room Service Manager have recognized their shortcomings & promised to make remedial action but still failed to deliver by the reason of too busy as mentioned by the Frontline Service Team)

The hotel is conveniently located. The services are as advertised. Staff were helpful. Mr.Ren, at the front office was exceptional with customer service. Good job to the team we had a wonderful stay. Suggestion: The ceiling panels in the restaurant needs changing/cleaning. Mould and water stains do not look good in dining area. Also not good for people with allergies.

We came to Taizhou specifically to sample the local cuisine. We booked this hotel through Ctrip. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were attentive and helpful, enthusiastically recommending local food and nearby parks and attractions. They paid great attention to detail, making our stay very comfortable and highly recommended. A special thank you to the staff member responsible for our floor and the restaurant; they made us feel right at home even though we were in the hotel. Service: Thoughtful and attentive Environment: Well-equipped with amenities nearby, including coffee shops and supermarkets.

Element is always amazing. The staff is always kind and they speak English or at least try. The room service food was 10/10. Rooms are always quiet and clean. The view is good. The hotel is attached to a mall so food options are unlimited. Would book again.

Wspaniałe miejsce! Personel był bardzo miły i otwarci, śniadanie było bardzo miłe każdego dnia, świetne usługi pralni i udogodnienia. Zdecydowanie zatrzymałbym się tam ponownie, dlatego polecam ten hotel każdemu, kto potrzebuje miejsca I. Jinhua lub w pobliżu. 5 gwiazdek.
