Nie wymagano wpłaty depozytu, co dodatkowo usprawniło cały proces. Pokój był bardzo czysty, przestronny i wygodny. Łóżko i poduszki były miękkie i zapewniały spokojny sen. Pokój był dobrze wyposażony w dwie klimatyzatory (w sypialni i aneksie kuchennym), telewizor Smart TV, sprzęt do prasowania, lodówkę, biurko, stół jadalny i wystarczającą liczbę gniazdek elektrycznych. Łazienka była nieskazitelnie czysta, z silnym ciśnieniem wody i stałą temperaturą ciepłej i zimnej wody. Kosmetyki i ręczniki były w pełni zapewnione. Udogodnienia hotelowe były świetne. Z basenu na poziomie 15 roztacza się piękny widok na miasto i zatokę. Do dyspozycji gości jest również siłownia, pralki, automaty z napojami i ręcznikami. Prędkość Wi-Fi była szybka i odpowiednia do celów służbowych. Windy działały szybko, były czyste i wygodne. Drobne niedogodności to hałas uliczny i syreny karetek pogotowia, a także nieco powolny, automatyczny system parkowania w godzinach szczytu. Lokalizacja jest bardzo dogodna, z łatwym dostępem do restauracji i pobliskich sklepów, takich jak 99 Speedmart, Lotus’s i Happy Mart. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, ten hotel oferuje doskonały stosunek jakości do ceny poniżej 500 RM. Doskonale nadaje się dla osób podróżujących samotnie, w podróżach służbowych i małych rodzin. Although the photos and reality were different, the window-less rooms were still adequate for comfortable staying. We stayed for 3 nights in a level 4 deluxe double room and level 3 double room, all ensuite with bathrooms. Due to the lack of exhaust fans and windows, the internal bathrooms can cause dampness and a smell but that was ok for us. A pet friendly Guesthouse (many of our neighbours had dogs but they were very quiet and well managed). Now managed by 3 service staffs who do everything. A retro but working games machine at the ground floor was a delight for my kids. Free laundry & dryer and a simple fitness corner are useful amenities. The highlight is actually the location of this guesthouse - within walking distance, there are numerous dim sum outlets, night time street foods, noodles shop, bakery and a sports bar just across the road. Will stay again, anytime, for my next visit.

Stayed at Capri by Fraser Penang and used the rooms for our pre-wedding preparation. Everything was perfect! The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The environment was pleasant, and the facilities were excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay, making everything much easier during our busy wedding preparations. A special mention for the delicious Suntory beer and pastries – they were absolutely yummy! The only area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, as I would love to see a wider variety of choices. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately, we were so busy with wedding preparations that we didn’t get the chance to fully enjoy all the facilities and amenities the hotel has to offer. Wspaniały pobyt w hotelu Ascott! Fantastyczne udogodnienia – basen, siłownia, pralnia, duży pokój zabaw dla dzieci i kryty basen ze zjeżdżalniami. Pokoje były niezwykle przestronne i wykończone na wysokim poziomie. Codzienne sprzątanie zawsze szło świetnie, a kosmetyki były dobrej jakości. Wygodne poduszki i łóżka oraz duże okna. Polecam ten hotel osobom podróżującym służbowo, rodzinom i parom – spełnia on wszystkie potrzeby. Śniadanie również było świetne – chociaż zostaliśmy na Boże Narodzenie, więc było dość tłoczno… ale mimo to basen nigdy nie był zatłoczony. Piękne widoki z basenu. Jeśli wrócę do Penang, zatrzymam się tu ponownie.

Przede wszystkim muszę powiedzieć, że ten hotel nie ma wiele wspólnego z siecią Citadines. Nie znajdziesz tu typowej doskonałej obsługi. Hotel ma nowoczesny wygląd i wygląda na stosunkowo nowy. Gdy tylko zajrzysz za fasadę, zdasz sobie sprawę, że wiele tu ukrywano. Czystość jest problemem w tym hotelu. Pokoje są sprzątane tylko powierzchownie, łóżko jest tylko raz trzepane. Brak nowych prześcieradeł, wymiany lub mycia szklanek. Ogólnie rozczarowujące. Śniadanie nie zasługuje na swoją nazwę: brak wyboru, brak smaku. Chciałbym podkreślić lokalizację hotelu. W bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie znajduje się kilka stoisk z jedzeniem i dworzec autobusowy Hin. Nasz pokój był również przestronny, chociaż jestem przyzwyczajony do większej przestrzeni w Citadines. Siłownia i basen były świetne. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, poszukalibyśmy alternatywy następnym razem, gdy odwiedzimy George Town.

My family and I had a great stay here, though there is room for improvement.  The place looks and feels a bit dated, which adds to the charm, except for when the air conditioning makes loud noises that disrupt the peace. One of the mattresses in our suite was also a little worn, sinking in every time we sit on it. We have to admit that our suite was big and cosy for all of us, with strong WiFi connection and Netflix.  Moreover, the breakfast could be better. We opted for the stay with breakfast included, and we all were served the same Big Breakfast set. It would have been nicer to have options to choose from.  This place has potential and I might consider staying here again.

The hotel is quite good overall. The room is a bit small but still comfortable, clean, and nicely designed. The air conditioning works very well and cools down quickly, even though the weather in Penang is quite hot. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the old town. I personally enjoy walking, so it wasn’t an issue for me. In return, the area is very quiet and close to a local market with plenty of delicious and affordable food options.

I had a fantastic stay at this place. The room was spacious and clean and owner place is kind . The room was very comfortable with a great view from the window. It was cleaned daily and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, close to all the major attractions.I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city. 5 out of 5 stars.

I booked a stay at Citadines at the very last minute of my holiday, and it turned out to be a highlight of my trip. I opted for the unit with a separate living room, bedroom, and bathroom—the layout was incredibly spacious and offered plenty of room to move around. The facilities were top-notch; having an in-room washing machine and microwave made the stay so much more convenient. My only minor gripe was having to request a dental kit (toothbrush/toothpaste) from the front desk myself. If those were already provided in the room, the experience would have been absolutely perfect. Still, a highly recommended spot for anyone seeking comfort and functionality!
