„Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency Kuantan, especially the ambience and hospitality. However, there are a few areas that require attention. Cons / Areas for Improvement: 1. Water pressure was quite slow, especially for the shower. When turned to hot water, the pressure increased, but once switched to cold, it became extremely weak. 2. There was water maintenance work happening during our stay. Although the hotel assured that everything was under control, it did affect our comfort while on holiday. 3. We noticed a small clump of dust on the floor. While it was minor, as we were staying with a 2-year-old toddler, it raised concerns as children tend to put things into their mouth. Housekeeping may need to be more thorough. 4. There should be better control of wild monkeys, especially around the parking area. I was chased and nearly bitten, which was quite frightening and unsafe for guests. Pros / What We Appreciate: 1. Excellent service recovery — I forgot to disable the “Do Not Disturb” sign but informed the front desk to clean the room. The housekeeping staff called first to ask for permission before entering, which shows professionalism and true 5-star service standards. 2. The hotel’s surroundings are beautiful, clean, and very calming — truly breathtaking. 3. The beach is very clean and conveniently located right next to the hotel. 4. Large swimming pools (two pools available), so it never felt crowded. 5. Staff were extremely friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Conclusion: Hyatt Regency Kuantan has great potential with its beautiful location, facilities, and outstanding staff. With improvements in water system management, housekeeping checks, and wildlife control, the overall guest experience would be even better.”

„The studio unit located at the lower level, easy access to car park, but still have to use stairs/lift to go to the designated parking at upper level. Check out during peak hours and not easy to get the lift access. The agent called and sent message to remind the check out time. Good and lucky they consider a little bit late check out due to the heavy traffic at lift as well as parking area. Overall the building/environment is ok, but the pool decks seems need an improvement.”

„We stayed at Chateau Spa, Bukit Tinggi for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was a truly pleasant and relaxing experience. The resort was peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect place to unwind and celebrate a special occasion. The room was clean, and the toilet was well kept, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff service was truly tip-top—everyone was attentive, caring, and clearly prioritised our wellbeing and comfort throughout our stay. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out. As for the food, breakfast and the buffet were fine, but the à la carte meals for lunch and dinner were definitely worth the money. The portion sizes matched the price well, and there was a good variety of Western and Malay cuisine. We tried the Western dishes, including salmon and steak, and they were delicious. The spa prices were affordable, though booking in advance is recommended. We visited during the last few days of December, and the weather was cold and lovely, adding to the overall relaxing experience. We left feeling happy, refreshed, and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway or a special celebration.”

„The hotel is located right next to the beach, offering a relaxing resort atmosphere. It has been refurbished, so everything feels modern and comfortable. The service from the staff is excellent, making the stay even more pleasant. There are also plenty of food options nearby, so you don’t have to travel far to find something to eat. Free parking is available, and valet service is also offered starting from RM68 per day for cars and RM48 per day for motorcycles. The swimming pool is clean and comfortable, though proper swimwear is required. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it for a relaxing beachside getaway.”

„Stayed at Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan and it was such a relaxing experience. The environment is peaceful and perfect for a short escape from the city. The hotel is located right by the beach, so you get a beautiful natural vibe throughout your stay. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — plenty of space to unwind and enjoy. Hotel facilities are great, including a swimming pool, gym, kids-friendly areas, and dining options, all well-maintained and convenient for both couples and families. The highlight is definitely the view 🌅 You can catch both stunning sunrise and sunset by the beach, which makes it extra special. Waking up to the sea view and ending the day with golden sunset moments is just perfect.”

„Ostatnio miałem okazję pobyć w Adena Beach Resort, i szczerze okazało się to naprawdę odświeżające ucieczkę. Największą spektaklą jest zdecydowanie prywatny plaża. Obudzenie się do dźwięku fal i zdolność do pieszego pieszo do plaży rano jest czymś, czego nie dostajesz wszędzie. Plaża była czysta, spokojna i idealna do powolnego ranka spaceru podczas wschodu słońca. Pokoje były wygodne i dobrze utrzymane, z relaksującym widokiem, który sprawia, że czujesz się jakbyś naprawdę na przerwie z miasta. Sama kurort ma spokojną atmosferę nie zbyt zatłoczone, co sprawiło, że pobyt jeszcze bardziej przyjemny. Inną rzeczą, którą doceniłem, była przyjazna i pomocna pracownicy. Od check-in do check-out, obsługa czuła się ciepła i przyjemna. Małe gesty z zespołu naprawdę sprawiły, że pobyt był bardziej przyjemny. Jeśli szukasz spokojnej plaży ucieczki w Pahang, zwłaszcza w pobliżu Kuantan, Adena Beach Resort jest zdecydowanie warto rozważyć. To jest rodzaj miejsca, gdzie można spowolnić, oddychać i po prostu cieszyć się wiatrem morskim przez jakiś czas. Z pewnością wróciłby ponownie na kolejny krótki wycofanie.”

„I enjoyed my stay at Shahzan Hotel Kuantan, especially as a business traveller needing a quick rest. The hotel is centrally located in town, making it very convenient with easy access to food and nearby amenities. The breakfast selection was basic but reasonable for the price. The air conditioning was super cold, and the shower water pressure was excellent—definitely a plus after a long day. Underground parking is free, though spaces are quite limited. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I would consider staying here again in the future. 😊”

„It was a great experience staying at Antara, check in and check out was seamless. Had a bit of issue with the flow of bathroom drain and housekeeping came within 10 minutes, more impressive than 5 star hotel service. The rooms are a bit small, but the view is breathtaking and overall facitilies are considered very good.”

„It's a wonderful place to stay with family. Our family stayed in this premium 3 bedroom during this trip. Living room is spacious and there is water dispenser provided in the apartment too. Bedroom size is good as well. Our room comes with Jacuzzi at the balcony too, but we didn't have time to try it out.  Location wise is about 15 mins walk up to the Sky Avenue. It's easier to walk down than to walk up due to the up slope, especially if you are travelling with old folks.. hence, we took a grab up everytime. It's about 5 mins drive from the apartment lobby. Also during our stay, it's their peak season, hence there is no shuttle service, but non peak season, they will have shuttle service up to Firat World Hotel. Their breakfast is not something to shoutout and it's kinda same everyday. They start breakfast at only 8am, if you are there late, there might not be seats available as the area for breakfast is quite small and food might also run out too.  Since it's an Air BnB apartment, they don't do housekeeping for you, however, something nice is they can change your towels and clear the rubbish upon request. Hence, remember to call the reception to request for this. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. My children enjoyed their trampoline room. Wanted to try out their bowling but it's under maintenance. There are also a few convenience shops at the ground floor, we can still grab something if we are hungry or thirsty at night. Take note only 1 is 24hr,  the rest of the shops closes at 10pm. Hopefully the apartment management can improve on their breakfast spread and area for dinning. Also hope to see more shops or restaurants opening in this area next time.  Will be back again.”
