„From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by wonderfully friendly staff at the reception desk, and our positive impression continued when we saw our room. It was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean and a perfect space to relax in. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm dipped when we looked out the window. We had eagerly anticipated the sea view we booked, but found ourselves on the first floor looking directly onto the main path to the restaurant. The lack of both a view and privacy was a real disappointment. The challenges were compounded by a local festival taking place during our stay. This rendered the beach unusable due to the sheer volume of people. Worse, the road closures made leaving the hotel a logistical headache, leaving us feeling a bit trapped. A final frustration was discovering there were no shops nearby and no convenience store in the hotel itself, so be sure to pack everything you might need. In summary, while we can't fault the hotel on its cleanliness or the friendliness of its staff, the experience was significantly hampered by the room mix-up and the festival chaos. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it was far from the relaxing getaway we had planned.”

„Loved the location, which is within short walking distance to the Galle lighthouse. But what I loved the most was the modern interiors of this Art Deco building . Our room was well designed and clean, complete with a bathtub and lovely marble finishing. I personally felt that the bed was one of the most comfortable I experienced during my week in Sri Lanka. I also enjoyed the sunset views from the rooftop bar and the pool, even though a little small was great for cooling down after exploring the old town on foot. My only comment would be that the shower amenities weren't in a good place, could easily slip during shower time. Breakfast had an option of either local fare (to be prebooked) and western fare which was tasty. Definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Sri Lanka.”

„The breakfast and dinner buffet is very good.I asked for masala tea and their indian chef Balbeer Singh made it to perfection.The rooms are spacious and clean. Friendly and helpful staff.We are taken care of very well by Jayaru and Nelka. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and the hotel made it very special. The only mark down for the hotel is lack of sun loungers and parasols for the guests.You are constantly struggling to get shade under the trees.A 5 star hotel should make provision for their guests.As they would have details of all bookings.”

„As an experienced business and leisure traveller, I was very disappointed with this hotel, which is definitely not five star. The rooms are shabby and very few of the staff are properly trained or can understand English. We booked a Delux and were given a damp dark room in the basement with a caterpillar in the shower. We insisted on changing rooms but the only available room was a suite (a nice spacious room with private pool) which cost us an additional $100. The buffet was ok, with some good Indian options, but not outstanding or very extensive. Front desk staff were generally unfriendly and did not make us feel welcome. I do not recommend staying here unless you can get a huge discount and are happy with a mediocre hotel.”

„Проживали в отеле в июле 2024г., всё очень понравилось. Отзывчивый персонал, заселение и выезд из отеля не заняли много времени. На завтраках порадовало обилие фруктов, на ужин очень много сладостей. Меню завтрака и ужина разнообразное. Два пляжа, бассейн, ухоженная зеленая территория. Прекрасный, спокойный отдых! Номера действительно уставшие, но это не являлось проблемой. Нам всё очень понравилось!”

„В целом нам отель понравился. Расположен в маленькой бухте CoCobay. Вокруг тишина, нарушаемая только шумом волн, постоянно накатывающимися на берег. Отель небольшой - всего 16 номеров, поэтому обстановка камерная, почти семейная. У гостей размеренный ритм отдыха - завтрак, пляж, полуденный отдых и снова пляж. Вечером ужин по меню. И если завтраки в отеле скромные и однообразные, то на ужин кухня способна удивить. Главное блюдо отличается красивой подачей и всегда вкусно. И меню каждый день новое. Номера большие, все с видом на океан. Кондиционер работает хорошо. От солнца устаёшь даже находясь в тени, поэтому в номере с удовольствием отдыхаешь в полдень. Отель в основном для семейных пар и семей с детьми. Некоторые родители оплачивают здесь уроки сёрфинга для детей, т.к. по сравнению с другими пляжами здесь мягкая волна и не глубоко. Доску для сёрфинга можно взять на прокат здесь же в отеле. Ещё один плюс отеля - здесь не ходят продавцы всякой всячины. За лежаками отдыхающих охрана внимательно следит. Можно спокойно оставить в сумке телефон и уйти купаться, а вернувшись погрузиться в интернет, лежа на шезлонге Есть и минус, не заметить который невозможно - рядом с отелем в океан впадает река и после дождя она несёт в него коричневую воду. Поэтому чистой и прозрачной воды вы здесь не увидите. А вот на основном пляже в Унаватуне вода как раз приятного голубовато- бирюзового цвета. Может в сухой сезон вода в бухте CoCoBay выглядит иначе, но мы были в октябре и дожди шли здесь каждый день.”

„酒店超預期，兩大兩小入住孩子補早餐費15美元/人一共補了30美元，可能第一天被另外一家五星級酒店將預期打太低，這家本地酒店原本沒報預期，但實際感受挺不錯的，服務周到，好幾個游泳池，出去就佔領整個印度洋，房間在1樓陽台門出去就是泳池，有桌球廳，餐廳也不錯，床應該有2米4寬一家四口一個床也非常寬敞，睡得很舒服，運氣好可以蹲到絕美晚霞，總體滿意，值得推薦。”

„There was hot water and toiletries, which is a marked upgrade from some of the other places in Sri Lanka. The bed was very comfortable & they had adequate towels, which was also not common in many places where I have stayed in Sri Lanka. The food was relatively unremarkable, advertising basil & rosemary ice cream, when in reality, it was just vanilla ice cream with dried herbs sprinkled on top. Maybe stick with the Sri Lankan country dishes. An easy walk to a quiet beach, wild surroundings but also had a TV with working cable channels. The bungalow was elegantly furnished with small animals right outside your door.”
