„ELMS hotel at Christchurch provide with welcome drink voucher during our check in. Unluckily we don’t receive any room upgrade from the reception during 3 days of staying. location wise is conveniently and there’re various restaurants and cafes nearby the hotel! Interior facilities seem a bit of old style, and dusts on the desk and cups are observed! Not far from the hotel to the city centre where you can take boat or tram exploring around the Christchurch!”

„My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!”

Pobyłem w pokoju bliźniakowym, a każda łóżko było wokół 1.2 do 1.5 metrów szerokości, podczas gdy inne hotele oferowały tylko bardzo wąskie pojedyncze łóżko (około 0.9 metrów). Między łóżkami było również dużo miejsca, co sprawiło, że pokój był znacznie komfortowy. Pokój był bardzo czysty, dobrze wyposażony, a personel przy biurku był przyjazny i pomocny. Miejsce było również przyzwoite, co sprawia, że jest bardzo wygodne i przyjemne miejsce do pobytu w ogólnym. Bardzo polecam ten hotel zwłaszcza jeśli szukasz wygodnego i wygodnego doświadczenia.”

„Nice hostel in convenient area of the city! The hostel is clean and every floor has its own kitchen and living room. Not very social but good and clean Toilets are the best ones I saw in many hostels, just perfect!”

„It was my first time to stay in a capsule, and I must say it is much better than a common hostel. It was clean and there was enough space. Moreover, you have your own space with a convenient light, sockets, etc.. There is a big kitchen and a shared area. Totally loved the experience in this hotel!”

„Very nice location, good for relaxing, 1 km from town center, but so close to the lake by just crossing the street. I would love to stay longer next time. If you reach late at night, it’s better to contact hotel in advance and ask for map and photos of your room location before. I arrived very late at night from Christchurch (changed transit flight from Auckland). It took me awhile to understand the map, room location and where to park. It was just 1 day after new moon. So, it was very dark. It’s hard for me to figure out the scale of the place and I didn’t see the small cabin at the back from the street.”

„A great hotel situated on the edge of the city meaning it’s quiet but still accessible. The king size room was lovely and spacious and the bed was comfortable and big. Toiletries were great quality and the service was suitably attentive. Only thing that was challenging was the unavailability of premium breakfast times due to the Christmas season, meaning 2 out of 4 mornings we skipped breakfast due to having to sit super early or towards lunch. Would definitely recommend and would very happily stay here again.”
