Right outside the door is a lovely beach, lively but not overwhelmingly so. The weather and air quality were great, putting me in a fantastic mood. The service was attentive, and both the facilities and cleanliness were very good. I'll definitely be back next year.

The room size is quite spacious. Although the decor is a bit dated, the cleanliness is truly impeccable. Overall, the service attitude was very good. The front desk staff were very friendly. Telephone service was prompt; it's the fastest I've experienced at any hotel in terms of getting help to the room. The welcome fruit was incredibly fresh and substantial. Every piece was edible, not just good-looking but tasteless ones. What I wasn't happy with: Firstly, the doorman. We arrived around 2 PM, which I assume is peak check-in time. I only saw one attendant at the entrance. My family went to park, and I was left alone with my child, carrying a backpack, an iPad, dragging a suitcase, and a large bag of snacks. The attendant just took the luggage out of the car and left me to my own devices. It was quite chaotic. Even if he had just helped me get a luggage cart, it would have been much better. When traveling with children, you always have a lot of stuff, so this situation should be very common. I suggest increasing the number of doormen and having luggage carts readily available at the hotel entrance. Secondly, the toothbrush in the room was incredibly hard. After brushing, I was practically spitting blood. Also, the hairdryer was fixed inside a drawer with a very short cord, making it difficult to hold up. Plus, it was really hard to use. Can't they update to a better one? The cool air doesn't dry, and the hot air burns your scalp. Even with my relatively thin hair, it took ten minutes to somewhat dry, when at home it usually takes about a minute. It doesn't have to be as fancy as a Dyson, but a Xiaomi or Laifen would be an improvement. Finally, the automatic door on the first floor leading to the beach wasn't very sensitive. As I was walking out with my child, it started closing automatically before we were fully through, and my child bumped their face. Although it wasn't serious, it's still a safety hazard. I reported it to the front desk, and they were very kind and immediately asked about my child's well-being. I just hope the issue will be taken seriously.

The hotel staff were incredibly dedicated. They called us a few days in advance to confirm our itinerary, and on the day of check-in, since we were arriving late, the front desk called again to check on our arrival plans. They even upgraded our reserved Deluxe Twin Room to the 11th floor. The room was huge and super clean, with plenty of charging outlets. The minibar even had complimentary drinks! The bedding was high quality and the mattress was comfortable. The 1.35-meter single beds didn't feel cramped even for two people. In the morning, you could open the curtains and see the calm sea. The breakfast selection was also quite rich. It was a truly high-quality stay.

Is everyone flocking to Beidaihe to escape the summer heat? It was scorching! At 10:30 AM, it was already 36 degrees Celsius outside, and the tide was out, so we couldn't even go crabbing. It's hard to book a last-minute hotel in a crowded Beidaihe. I saw reviews mentioning old facilities but had no choice but to book it. Honestly, with that expectation, it wasn't too bad. After all, the hotel is 20 years old, so maintaining it like this isn't easy. Avoid Building No. 3. The elevator constantly breaks down, which is terrifying. It was under repair when we arrived, so we had to climb the stairs, and it broke again the next day. When I reported it to the front desk, they seemed completely unconcerned, as if they were used to it. From 6 AM to 8:30 AM, there was a vibrating noise throughout the building. I thought it was a construction site, but when I asked the front desk, they said it was the kitchen machines running for breakfast. All I can do is commend their 'excellence' – I'm out of words. The hotel breakfast costs 38 yuan per person. If your room rate includes breakfast, you'll eat it and be speechless. For those who didn't book with breakfast, don't waste your money. It's even worse than a farmhouse breakfast – there's nothing, not even fried rice or noodles. I heard it's not even run by the hotel but by a partner. I saw customers arguing because the breakfast vouchers given by the hotel weren't enough, and they were counting heads, which didn't match up. These are all avoidable issues. The staff don't wear name tags, so I don't know anyone's name. If I wanted to praise someone, I wouldn't know who to mention. Overall, some service was decent. However, the security was lacking; there was no one directing parking, and no designated spots. Everyone just parked wherever they could find space. I can understand, though; it's tough for anyone in nearly 40-degree heat under the blazing sun. If there are other hotels you can book, go elsewhere. The only selling point is the small, unkempt patch of beach and rocks downstairs; there's really nothing else.

This is our go-to hotel every year. It's really easy to find, and this year we happened to check in right on my child's birthday! The hotel even gave us a birthday cake. The buffet downstairs is also very rich and varied! We'll definitely be back again next year!

The room has a European style, bright and clean, with a separate wet and dry bathroom. You can see the sea right outside the window, and it's only about 20 meters down to the beach from the side of the building, very close to the hotel. The breakfast selection is rich. We arrived around noon, and there's also a hotel restaurant nearby where you can eat at any time. There's also a dinner buffet with mini hot pot and a wide variety of seafood, including all-you-can-eat oysters. Many dining tables offer sea views, which is very relaxing. Next door is the 'Qin Huang Seeking Immortality at Sea' attraction, and it's only about 800 meters from Xigang Garden. A morning stroll on the beach is very pleasant. They also offer complimentary fruit, free coffee vouchers, and dining discount coupons.

The location is absolutely perfect, just a stone's throw from the sea. You don't even need to cross a road to get to the beach. The front desk offers free coffee and has all the sand-digging tools you could need, which is great for kids. The room was spotlessly clean and odor-free, so I had a really good rest. Definitely a worthwhile beachfront getaway!

The Guyu Seaview Hotel has an excellent location right next to Pigeon Nest Park, making it super convenient to catch the sunrise over the sea. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable. Some room types even offer sea views. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, and check-in is efficient. There's also a children's play area within the courtyard, which is great for families traveling with kids, and parking is convenient. The only minor downsides are that prices increase during peak season, and some rooms not facing the sea don't have ocean views. Overall, it was a very good stay. If you're coming to Beidaihe to see the sunrise, this hotel is a top choice.

Arcadia is a well-established entertainment complex with meticulously maintained pools, lawns, and beaches. We booked a pet-friendly room, and upon check-in, the resort arranged a shuttle to take us to Zone 3. The room was incredibly spacious, with great natural light, and they even provided a pet welcome kit, which thoughtfully included tick repellent spray. Right outside our door were a lawn and a pool, which our dog absolutely loved, and our child had a blast too. It's definitely a top choice for family trips! Our personal butler regularly checked in to see if we needed anything, which was a very thoughtful touch. All in all, I highly recommend Arcadia!

My stay at Atour Xingshino Hotel exceeded my expectations! The hotel has a soothing, natural wood and mountain-inspired design. The lobby is quiet and elegant, and I was greeted with a warm cup of tea upon arrival. My room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the blackout curtains and double soundproofing were excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep after a long day. The front desk staff were gentle and attentive, really paying attention to the small details. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, and I particularly enjoyed Atour's signature late-night comforting congee. The gym, self-service laundry, and library were all well-equipped. The location is convenient for getting around. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next trip to the area. Highly recommend!
