This hotel is located within the forest park scenic area, which is very convenient for sightseeing. They also offer a dedicated shuttle service. While dining out isn't very convenient, you can order takeout, and the front desk will arrange for a car to deliver it right to your room. We were traveling with seniors and children, and the hotel thoughtfully suggested that the Jijiandi room type had many steps. They proactively moved us to the Fenghuangtai, which has a spacious private pool. Each room type is situated in its own independent area on the mountain, requiring a ride to access. For our baby's birthday, the hotel decorated the bed and even provided a cake – a very thoughtful touch! We experienced a distinct musty smell near the headboard due to the rain that day, which is understandable. It's a completely different experience than staying by the sea and definitely worth trying!

I absolutely have to give a shout-out to Ella, the butler at Wanda Realm! To be honest, the room facilities are a bit dated; you can definitely see the age in the bathroom and furniture. But that didn't detract from our experience at all, because the butler service was simply outstanding! From adding her on WeChat to communicate our needs during check-in, to receiving daily thoughtful weather and activity reminders, every request was met with a prompt response. The butler even specially delivered a fresh fruit platter to our room. And at check-out, she had prepared Hainan specialty souvenirs. The attention to detail was incredible, making us feel truly valued and pampered. Moreover, the hotel's outdoor environment is absolutely stunning! The sand on the beach is as fine as flour, the seawater is crystal clear, and every photo you take looks like a wallpaper. The complimentary travel photoshoot was an even bigger surprise; the photographer patiently guided our poses, and the results were simply amazing. We ended up buying a package of over twenty photos, which was far better than any roadside photographer – why even bother with a bicycle when you have a luxury car? (a Chinese idiom meaning 'why settle for less when you can have the best') Honestly, I truly believe that without the dedicated efforts of these high-quality professionals, this hotel would struggle to operate so smoothly. The hardware might be old, but the warmth of the people makes up for it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values service experience! This hotel is very close to the airport, so there's a bit of plane noise. I booked a room at the Crowne Plaza for my last day. I asked the front desk if they could upgrade me to a pool view room, and they did. The room wasn't humid thanks to the dehumidifier. I washed my clothes and spent the last day of my relaxed trip walking around the hotel and swimming, which was very comfortable. The beach is right across the road and wasn't crowded, so a stroll there was perfect for a leisurely vacation. You can't see the sunrise directly, but you can see the ocean surface illuminated by the morning sun as it rises, and you can get close-up photos of planes taking off. It was my first time seeing a sunrise from the north, and it was quite unique and beautiful with very few people around. I had forgotten to book a travel photoshoot in Yalong Bay before, and this hotel also offered complimentary travel photography. I asked the hotel to help me book it, and they quickly arranged an appointment. I communicated my desired style via WeChat beforehand, and I was very happy with the overall results. There was no extra upselling; they shot exactly what we discussed on WeChat. The photographer was very professional and experienced. I think the touch-up quality is comparable to Haimati (a popular photo studio), making it incredibly good value for money. If you're staying at the hotel, I highly recommend booking a photoshoot.

My InterContinental Resort stay was fantastic this time. First, a big thanks to our butler, Bonnie Tan, for upgrading us to a Deluxe Seaview room. We could see the ocean and the sunrise, although it was a pity that heavy rain the first two days made the nearshore waters murky. As of now, after two days, the yellowish area has reduced by about a third; I estimate it will take a week to fully clear up. Yesterday, the sunrise was partly obscured by clouds, but it was still beautiful. The room layout was excellent, very spacious with a wide open plan. The bathroom had two sinks and a vanity, and the shower faced the sea, perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning. The bathtub was on the balcony; if I had stayed another day, I definitely would have enjoyed it. The Tianfu Chinese restaurant was delicious. They had a great value couple's set menu. The Crispy Pork Sandwich was perfect for those with a taste from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. The grouper felt like it weighed a pound, and the chicken fat rice was so good I posted about it on both Dianping and Xiaohongshu. Other à la carte dishes were a bit pricey, probably 300-400 RMB per person. The tennis court was affordable at 180 RMB an hour, including rackets. They were all Wilson rackets; I couldn't identify the model but definitely not the Clash series. There were two with thin grips and two with thicker ones. Like the court itself, they were quite old. The pink thin-grip one I used felt like the strings were a bit loose, not as tight as the blue thin-grip one. The staff also set up a table and chairs, providing towels and water, which was a nice touch. The hotel lobby had a very high ceiling, grand decor, and an expansive space that was truly refreshing, much better than the feeling I got at the Yalong Bay Marriott. All the staff were friendly and greeted guests, and service was very responsive, including the front desk, lobby, Tianfu Bay restaurant, family pool, tennis court, and even the maintenance staff on the beach 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The room was clean and tidy, and even the beach had robots tidying it up periodically. **Environment:** This hotel boasts a prime, central location in Yalong Bay, second only to the Horizon Resort & Spa. The beach is wide, with three full rows of sun loungers with shade. The hotel's garden design is also impressive; although the vegetation coverage isn't as lush as the Sheraton (which is widely considered to have the best gardens), it's still superior to places like Horizon, Marriott, and MGM. The beachfront buffet restaurant, in particular, offers a fantastic dining atmosphere. I stayed in room 1727 this time; the direct ocean view was spectacular. However, the side view was a bit close to a garden view room, so privacy might be a concern. If the room had been a bit more central, it would have been absolutely perfect. **Service:** Upon check-in, I connected with our butler, Frank. He was incredibly helpful with any requests, including readily agreeing to a late check-out. However, I'd suggest the hotel add cotton pads to the in-room amenities, as they're quite commonly used.

I had a lot of worries before coming, especially after seeing comments about the hotel facilities being old. But honestly, my stay was pretty smooth. I mainly came for the public beach area, and it was absolutely beautiful! The weather was great too, and the pool was very comfortable. In the afternoon, while lounging on the beach chairs, there was a poolside bar right behind me where I could order drinks, coconuts, or anything else. Sharing public areas with the Marriott next door felt like a really good deal – paying Sheraton prices but enjoying Marriott amenities, haha. We also had a butler who was incredibly thoughtful and responsive. She answered all our questions instantly and provided very detailed information for anything we needed. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular. However, I wouldn't recommend the 'Asian Essence' buffet restaurant. We had a package through Ctrip that included one buffet meal, and I heard it's usually quite expensive. It mainly features Korean food, and since the dining area is outdoors, any grilled items get cold very quickly. You might also have to contend with flying insects trying to share your food, which is unavoidable. The food itself wasn't very tasty. The performance was probably more suitable for kids – small acrobatic acts with very high color saturation, a bit harsh on the eyes. My friend sharply commented that it resembled a performance at a rural senior club. I wouldn't recommend buying it. However, there was a duo with a redhead lead singer and a guitarist who were fantastic. They also performed in the lobby in the evenings. Listening to them sing under the perfect full moon during the Mid-Autumn Festival, with a drink in hand, was incredibly enjoyable. Overall, I was very satisfied with this trip. No major issues, and great value for money.

For my Sanya vacation this time, I stayed at the Banyan Tree Sanya for two nights. Although it was my second stay, the scenery, dining, and service here are still top-notch, making it perfect for a quiet getaway. The villa was comfortable and private, with its own pool, so I could take a dip anytime. In the early morning, before the sun got too strong, I enjoyed a stroll along the beach with a pleasant breeze. In the evenings, I preferred sitting on the outdoor lounge chair in my room, enjoying the surprisingly dry mountain breeze – unlike the usual humid stickiness often found in Sanya. Just sitting there, doing nothing, was incredibly enjoyable. The hotel's dining was also excellent. Local specialties like Hainanese noodles and Hou'an noodles were very authentic, and the freshly squeezed juices, fruits, and pastries were all of good quality. I was very satisfied with the food during my stay. The entire resort only has a few dozen villas, and the landscaping and housekeeping are meticulously maintained. The environment is quiet, and there are plenty of service staff. Special thanks to my butler, Henry He, who was incredibly responsive and efficient throughout my stay, providing professional and thoughtful service.

The Hilton Haikou is truly a hidden gem! The hotel environment is tranquil and comfortable, and the room views are outstanding; you can see beautiful scenery just by looking up. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation to all directions. The breakfast is thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Housekeeping is meticulous, keeping the rooms clean and fresh. The hotel guest butler provided enthusiastic service and helped arrange a very satisfying room. My stay experience was significantly enhanced.

The Mangrove Tree Resort in Haitang Bay has long been my unwavering vacation retreat, perfectly aligning with all my aspirations for a coastal getaway. Year after year, I return with a longing heart. I’ve always been captivated by the 180° Deluxe Seaview Room, with its expansive balcony directly facing the vast South China Sea. Leaning on the railing, I take in the boundless blue sea and sky, watching the clouds drift and the tides ebb and flow. In past stays, I did leave some minor suggestions for improvement. Returning this time, I was delighted to see the hotel has diligently iterated and enhanced its services, with numerous details improved, showcasing a sincere commitment to guest satisfaction. The only minor imperfections this stay were the weak air conditioning in the room and a malfunctioning electric screen. I hope the housekeeping and engineering departments can strengthen their coordinated inspections and daily equipment maintenance to further refine the living experience. This year’s entire trip was exceptionally memorable, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to our butler, 'Juzi Juzi Juzi'. Her service was meticulous and attentive, with highly efficient and timely responses. Every request was addressed. Upon arrival, I didn't have to wait in line, and the coveted sea-view room had already been perfectly reserved for me. I used the VIP channel for check-in, and the entire process was calm and smooth. My initial room was upgraded to the 15th floor, and later, due to the air conditioning issue, the butler thoughtfully coordinated a move to the executive floor on the 23rd floor. The service provided by 'Juzi Juzi Juzi' this year was truly flawless. As night falls, fireworks bloom in the sky, with buildings and the heavens reflecting each other, creating a spectacular and dazzling scene. Haitang Bay boasts a cluster of high-end hotels, but in my heart, the Mangrove Tree Resort will always hold an irreplaceable position. Of all the hotels I've stayed at, from Tianya Town to Haitang Bay, this one had the best service. Days before check-in, they called to inform me I'd have a butler, which really put my mind at ease. Then, Jill🥒 turned out to be an absolute gem! She always replied instantly to messages and solved any problem immediately. She's truly a reason I'd happily return to this hotel. Now, about the facilities. We got a room upgrade during the off-season. The floors were a bit old, but after staying at several hotels, I've noticed that hotels in Sanya with good locations aren't usually brand new. I was initially worried about bugs, but there were none at all. The kids' club is huge, with plenty of indoor activities, more than enough for kids under 6. I'd even say it's better than Regent. It's not far from the beach either; you just walk through a small path from the hotel and you're pretty much there. Breakfast was decent, not exceptional but definitely not bad. And the water quality at Dadonghai was much better than Haitang Bay this time. I'd probably choose this Dadonghai hotel again on my next trip.
