It was great! If there is one thing I need them to improve, it’s the restaurant service. Orders take a looot of time to get served even canned drinks. And you can’t tell me that it’s because of the occupancy. It’s a slow day when we checked in, not much guests around. Overall it definitely is a great place. Would come again. Would recommend. Just please improve the restaurant service!

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. Its attentive staff, well-appointed rooms, great amenities, and strategic location combine into a memorable experience. Pearl Farm is like a paradise. Everything is pleasing to the eyes and to the tummy! Lechon is available every night. Staff are very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to every request. My only complaint is their social media, phone and email responses. They respond very slow or none at all. 1. I asked for a transfer from Discovery Samal Welcome Center to their Marina Wharf. They said they will send a van at 1pm but there was none. I followed up thru trip dot com messages, no response. I called their mobile number, declined! Guess what, they replied saying they were on lunch break! We were in a hurry because we need to be in their wharf before 2pm per their instruction. Nada. Good thing we were able to ask Discovery Samal staff to bring us to Marina Wharf. 2. Boat transfer from wharf to resort was cancelled due to big waves. I understand. We were told we will be traveling by land. We rode a van, lined up to be transferred via RORO (yes, the ship transfer) which took us 2 freaking hours just for lining up!! And another hour to arrive at the resort. We travelled for 3 HOURS just to arrive at the resort. We lined up with other RORO passengers - with and without vehicles. We are staying in a 5 star resort but they cant do something to make the waiting/lining up in the RORO be a little faster?? I saw the driver paying 20/passenger for riding the RORO (not verified). Cant the resort pay a little extra for a fast lane or something similar? Idk! Just rly disappointed bcos we were traveling with a 3yr old! Ofcourse I messaged them regarding this thru email and yes, they DID NOT REPLY AGAIN. I wanted to rate them 5stars but their communication with guests is so bad. I worked in a hotel and every message from guests is taken very seriously.

It could have been a beautiful and relaxing stay if the resort had been properly maintained and kept clean. Unfortunately, there were quite a few flies around the room, which became annoying, and the smell of the room was not very inviting. The water from the faucet was also brownish in color and had a salty taste, which was quite disappointing. Nevertheless, I truly commend the courteous, friendly, and attentive staff who did their best to make us comfortable despite these concerns. The resort itself is beautiful and has so much potential. The craftsmanship of the furniture and fixtures is quite exceptional and clearly reflects quality and attention to detail. However, it seems that the resort’s cleanliness and maintenance have been overlooked. With the price we paid—which is even higher than some 5-star hotels—I honestly feel that the experience was not worth the cost. It is a beautiful resort, and with proper maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to the overall guest experience, it could truly live up to its worth.

Comfortable and spacious room. Clean and well-maintained facilities. Good breakfast. Consistent with the standard quality and service of the Dusit brand. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The space was okay the trip is for a business. It is near the central of Tori’s so it’s a bit accessible. The place was okay and neat.

Staying at Go Hotels was such a convenient choice for us! It is perfectly located just close to SM Lanang and Santa Ana Wharf, making it so easy to get around and explore the area. Everything we needed was within reach, which made our trip even more comfortable and hassle-free. Highly recommended if you want a great location!

Staffs are so nice and accommodating

Overall, our stay was okay but there were some issues that need improvement. We had to request for an extra towel for the floor because it was not provided in the room setup. Breakfast was good, and we appreciated the variety and taste. However, our booking clearly stated 4 breakfast inclusions, but upon arrival, we were informed that it only covered 2 breakfasts, which was disappointing and felt misleading. During our stay, there was an earthquake (magnitude 5.5). Surprisingly, no alarm or safety announcement was made by the hotel, which was concerning. Proper safety protocols should be in place during emergencies. Overall, good breakfast but some service gaps and safety concerns need to be addressed.
