i just stayed there for one night while waiting for my next accommodation. but it was a good space for what you get for a capsule hotel. had all the amenities you would need. the lockers aren't to big so depending on the size of your suitcase it can fit but if its a large suitcase most likely not.
Great location, very close to the airport and also convenient for visiting nearby attractions. The hotel provides an airport shuttle bus, which is very helpful. The staff are friendly and the service is good. Breakfast was nice with a good variety. Overall, a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended!
Really appreciated the late-night and early morning shuttle bus from airport. The timetable and instructions (incl photos) on where to wait was all detailed on their website, so made it very easy. Take note the bus arrives early and leaves on time (ie 9.50pm bus arrives pick-up point at about 9.40pm and leaves on the dot at 9.50pm). They have 4 check-in self-service machines at the front desk, which made check-in super quick even though there was a bus load of ppl lining up. The room has a great view of the airport, so you wake up to a great sunrise and view of planes taking off/landing. We also really enjoyed the breakfast - great variety, very efficient and tasted great. We also only realized this as the bus was driving out of the hotel, but there's a lawsons at the corner of the older wing. My only grip would be that the bed was too hard, but had a decent sleep anyway. Everything you need for an airport hotel - highly recommended!
”My stay at this hotel was mostly pleasant, but there were a few areas that could be improved. The room was clean and comfortable, but the decor felt a bit dated, and some of the amenities were lacking. The staff was friendly, though service was a bit slow at times, especially during check-in. The location was convenient, but the noise from the nearby street made it difficult to sleep some nights. Overall, it's a decent place to stay,
Only book this location if you are driving, or willing to take a taxi. Walking in and out of the location is not convenient. However, service and amenities were good

It's a very good price for Chiba area hotel. It's a chain hotel and tucked away from the city center. It provides regular shuttle bus service to a nearby train station.

Very Good
GGuest UserGood value for money, but the location is so-so. The front desk staff were very helpful and patient, even though we had to use a phone translator to communicate. However, the breakfast restaurant staff were quite cold and unfriendly.
AAnonymous UserThe airport shuttle driver and the luggage handlers were all excellent! The room was spacious, and the complimentary breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate for us since we were catching a flight. The staff who spoke Japanese and English were very helpful; I've used English and basic Japanese on my previous stays. The only negative experience I had was on May 27, 2026, around 6:30 PM, when a male staff member at the front desk who spoke Chinese, and was standing in the middle while I was using the self-check-in, had a very poor attitude. He really brought down the overall service quality of the hotel.
GGuest UserThis hotel is right above a subway station, which is super convenient for getting around. However, for this Kanto trip, several hotels, including this one, used self-service check-in kiosks, which I found a bit inconvenient and lacking a personal touch. Last year, all the hotels in the Kanto region had manual check-ins, which felt much better. The picture is of the Hoki Museum in Chiba, which was also the reason I stayed here for a night.
GGuest UserThis was the best experience! The staff were polite, and the cleaning was meticulous – I was extremely satisfied. I especially loved being able to take home fresh vegetables and having unlimited access to the hot springs. They really pay attention to the small details, like the rubber bands attached to the bottom of the locker doors in the hot springs to prevent injuries, which made me feel that their service was thorough. The breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of local vegetables.
If I had to suggest an improvement, the pajamas available for rent at the front desk were all-in-one jumpsuits. Those were a bit inconvenient for going to the restroom and changing. It would be much more helpful if they were a regular shirt and pants. Perhaps it's part of a farmer-like concept, though.
I highly recommend this place for everyone. They have a good vibe and are nice to chill out. Definitely 10 out of 10 :)
Mmuahcheetoo much convenient, it's just right beside the station MAKUHARI TOYOSUNA, which is just a station away from MAKUHARI MESSE event hall, or probably we can just walk via AEON to arrive at MAKUHARI MESSE.
Hotel staff are friendly and approachable, check-in process was also quick via the automated machine (check-out can be done via the TV in the room!). Amenities are all available at the lobby, they restock them up real fast, i never see them going empty at all despite i had been walking in out several times during the day! Wide range for facilities on rental, got myself the iron and hair straightener was helpful.
Charging cable for microusb/typeC/lightning was already available in the desk drawer for quick access as well. Wonderful room layout with the table right beside the bed for easy access to anything, even though there's space made for phone on charging at the bedside. Love the bedside lamp as well, then the massager, the air purifier, their choice of shampoo with KNOLL series! Nothing going extra in the room or anything i need but wasn't available. There's even an accessory case on the table!!!!
Would like to visit Hotel Mets again, some other branches even if im not off for events at MAKUHARI MESSE like this time round. Came on a solo trip with a big suitcase, with sufficient space, it should get crampy with 2 pax, but way wide for a single traveller.
Keep it up guys! I had so much a wonderful stay this time round, which my cousin did as well when i found this hotel for her, she herself loved this hotel soooooooooo much!
KKei.missingWhat a place to stay !! For a first Onsen style capsule pod hotel, this blew all expectations out the water. Massage facilities as well as electric massage chairs, study/work nooks, a shop, and four restaurants to cater any craving needs. Remove your shoes immediately and place them in a locker (located to the right when you enter the hotel). Exceptionally clean facilities, the onsen has numerous washing areas, a cold plunge pool, Sauna (90-100°C), Jacuzzi bath, three mineral hot baths, and outdoor hot bath, plus Ion bath. The Onsen is open until 1am and is busy from 5pm-10pm daily.
Massages start from around 2000¥
Sleeping pods are spacious, although the lockable lockers within the pods are around 9 inches deep. There’s a hanging rail, and beside the sleeping area you’ll find a TV, power outlet, and standard USB charging point.
Access: The hotel is located on the 1st floor. Use the outdoor escalators beside the bus terminal. There’s a McDonalds plus various other eateries and shops within the shopping mall, including a supermarket that sells everything from lighting, small/large electronics, and bicycles.
If you’re visiting Makuhari Messe like I did, Uber will cost you 2000-3000¥ each way - taking around 10 minutes in peak hour traffic.
The local staffed train station is located beside the Bus Terminal, providing decently quick access into Tokyo.
Staff were extremely friendly, smiling, and always happy to help.
There is a smokers lounge room within the hotel.
LLini KaloumairaIt’s an older motel with front of house staff that have been working in the hospitality industry for a while. I arrived before the check in time (3pm ~), I was checked in just before 3pm which I didn’t expect. Courteous, friendly staff.
Breakfast was included in the 2 night stay - it was a simple Japanese meal that was easy sustenance - free servings of rice and soup. The staff made it a homely atmosphere with constant attention to guests asking them if they wanted more of what was available.
Room 720 faced the busy Highway but also had a great view that included sky tree. I could open the large single pane window and thought it was a unique point.
Cleaning staff were mainly foreign, all young and polite also. They knocked on doors to ask if rubbish needed removing and rooms cleaned.
I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant on 10F or the public bath and sauna - maybe next time.
suggestions:
(1) housekeeping: a quick dusting by cleaning staff (feather duster if not wet tissues) - the hotel is clean and even though it isn’t a 5 star hotel it makes a difference. The feather duster can easily reach corners of drawers and tables. Bathroom air filters can easily be cleaned with wet tissues.
(2) room cards for cleaning- more specific than a don’t disturb card. it will save time for housekeepers as they knock on room doors to ask if rooms need to be cleaned. They can focus on cleaning and do a better job on a hotel that has been kept going for a while.
QQinglongxiaoziThe front desk staff were very warm and patient. To get to the hotel, you just turn right after exiting the ticket gate at JR Funabashi Station, and there's an elevator directly to the 6th-floor reception, so you don't even need to leave the station building. If you're heading to Narita Airport by train, it's a direct ride, taking about an hour to reach the terminal. There's also an airport shuttle bus stop next to the building, though I didn't use it myself. Getting to Tokyo from here is also convenient, with a direct 30-minute train ride to the bustling city center. There are several large shopping malls nearby, along with many convenience stores, restaurants, a Don Quijote, and drugstores. I'd highly recommend this place for tourists visiting Japan, especially for its great value for money. My only minor wish is that the room could be a little bit bigger. Overall, I had a very good experience.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently next to Keisei Barita station. Just remember to take the escalators going down to the street level where the hotel is; Google Maps directly me to a much longer route which was a waste of time.
The hotel room is smallish in size; not sure if it is normal for this area. Cleanliness is very good despite the hotel on the aged side (based on the room setup/ deco).
Breakfast was small spread but definitely good enough. Special mention about this blended drink of Pumpkin and Soy Milk, nice!
Rates wise it is more competitive compared to the other immediate hotels so I won’t mind staying there again.
