We didn't know that this is a love hotel and only realised it the day before checking in, as the check in is only from 6pm. The room is very spacious and we didn't mind the ****, condoms and lots of beauty products it came with. :D However, I didn't know that hotel rooms in Japan can allow smoking, so the strong cigarette smell in the room was very off putting.
We put up a 'do not disturb' sign because we don't need cleaning daily. The second day I noticed some of the **** from the hotel were gone in our room but the room wasn't made (bed wasn't made, trash not emptied). I asked the staff and they said they removed it because they thought it bothered us. This was a bit weird to me, I'm not sure where they got the idea from and I don't know why they entered the room. It's also important to note that the train only runs once per hour most of the day (during some hours twice).
The room is small, the receptionists before check-in time looked very young, I don't know if they were interns, spoke just bad English and bad hospitality in general. Need more training!
This hotel is just next to Maibara. It is very convenient to go other parts of Lake Biwa. Its bed and pillows are comfortable. Just like other japan hotels, small challenges to open two 24” luggages. Breakfast is simple and nice. There are several types of rice balls to choose (love the fried chicken, egg, fried meat), miso soup, corn soup, healthy fruit juice, bread and coffee.
1) air conditioning is very week, suggest equipping with one more fan in the room
2) only one female lobby staff worked very slowly . Other staff just rest not come out for work
We had waited for a very long time to get back our stored luggage and missed the JR train 😥🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
This is a **** hotel. They probably weren't too welcoming of a solo driver like me. I was in a rush from Kyoto and saw free parking, so I happened to book this place. There was no one in the hotel. There was a phone at the main entrance (probably for communication). Japanese people book rooms knowing which one they want and go straight to their rooms (without locking the door) because they want privacy. When I arrived, I tried to find someone, but an elderly woman who didn't speak English came out and talked for a long time before finally letting me in... But then I think they probably asked for two of us. I nodded randomly, and only then did I understand why I was there. There was a ************ rental price list on the table. I wouldn't have made any money going alone. I have to say, the Japanese really know how to have fun in this area!
The American atmosphere spread across the whole hotel with the help of design. It was quite classic. The room setting is a bit too liberal. The bathroom and toilet are in see-through form. The hotel, by the way, is conveniently located by the train station and the discounted parkings are right next to the hotel .
Room is clean and room is large. Room facilities is enough for a traveler. But the breakfast has a few choice and does not taste good, just fair. Too crowd in the lobby at about 6:30 am breakfast time and have to queue up for a long time to get a breakfast

Very Good
GGuest UserOn short notice, I was looking for various accommodations, including business hotels. I chose this one as I only needed a room for the night. The price was very reasonable, and it was excellent.
GGuest UserA great choice for travelers looking for convenience. The hotel is well-situated, making it easy to access transportation and nearby restaurants. The Onsen is a wonderful touch, and the breakfast is delicious—though I wish they provided a bit more time for guests to enjoy their meal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A pleasant stay overall!

みみやさん。みんなが自分のことをみやさんと呼んでくれた。The room was clean. To be honest, I wish it was a little bigger. The toilet and bathroom were smaller than other hotels. It was good that there was a shared bathroom downstairs. Security was also good. The women at the front desk worked hard. It's a new hotel, so it has a bright image.
SShayugeyoushijieIt takes about 15 minutes to get to the hotel in Wildzhou. The hotel has three pavilions. The front desk is in the middle of the barbecue restaurant. The room is very old and the stay is quite comfortable. There is a supermarket halfway to the hotel. There is McDonald's next door to the hotel!
GGuest UserIt was clean and friendly. I plan to stay again next time. However, the soundproofing is a bit poor and voices from outside can be heard loudly.
GGuest UserI used to stay at a hotel in central Shikoku for the first time, and the customer service was good, and the parking lot was large, and I was able to spend enough comfort if I was alone. There are also Yoshinoya, FamilyMart, McDo and Omi Champon nearby. Mr. Hunan was also good. Also, I would like to stay at a different The yard hotel.
