Helpful and friendly staffs. Strategically located. There is a food court near to the hotel lobby. Value for money. Old style hotel and furniture and floor need refurbishment. Still good enough to stay.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, expect the toilet is sharing and it's very dirty!. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location was perfect, and the view from my room was absolutely stunning — one of the highlights of my stay. Everything about this hotel felt high-quality, and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

This hotel is truly excellent! The rooms were cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day (just remember to hang the 'clean my room' sign before 2 PM, otherwise the staff will be off duty). They even provide cookies and green tea. We were a party of three and stayed comfortably. It's also super close to DBKK, Suria Sabah Mall, and Gaya Street, just a few minutes away. Honestly, I can't find any flaws. The only minor point I could nitpick is that the front desk staff aren't very fluent in Chinese, but their service was incredibly warm and friendly. The guy from the 9th floor was particularly polite; he brought us extra supplies multiple times and even took off his shoes before entering our room. Super courteous!

The resort is conveniently located right beside the main road connecting Ranau and Kota Kinabalu. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. While there was some traffic noise from passing vehicles, it wasn’t a major issue—earplugs can easily solve that if you’re a light sleeper. What mattered most to us was the cleanliness, which was excellent. An added bonus is that extra mattresses are available for rent if needed. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely choose to stay here again.

I stay here every time I visit KK，because the price is reasonable and the shopping mall is just across the road. The only inconvenience is that parking is extremely difficult to find. However, the cleanliness during this stay could be improved. There may have been bed bugs, as I woke up feeling itchy all over. The towels are also worn out and should be replaced with new ones. The staff here are very friendly, and the service is excellent.

There is no fan or air conditioner. It is a bit hot during the afternoon, but the weather is comfortable at night. The house is clean, and the overall cleanliness is satisfactory. However, the toilet window is too large and is only covered by a mesh screen. At night, people outside can still see shadows through the light inside. Also, the window can be opened from the outside, which makes it feel unsafe. The view of Mount Kinabalu from the entrance is very nice. (There are a lot of insects at night. It is recommended to prepare some insect repellent.)

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The room was tidy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location makes it easy to get to interesting places, and amenities nearby are also convenient. Overall, the stay was very satisfying. The price was also worth the service provided. Will definitely come again and highly recommended!

Stayed here with my mom upon arrival, then moved to a suite, and came back here again! I really liked it! The first night after Shanghai, it felt a bit sparse, but then we woke up to a leafy view, walked to the beach, drove to the mall in 7 minutes, and realized we'd be back here 💔. It's a nice spot, the only downside is that the water isn't hot, so you shower with cool water (unpleasant for washing hair), but I think the staff could probably fix that if needed) they're sweethearts 🥹❤️

This resort is truly beautiful — scenic, clean and affordable. The surroundings are stunning and the rooms are well-maintained. However, there were several service issues that affected our overall experience. 1. Boat pick up was said to be 1.30pm. We were made to wait on the boat for almost 30 minutes because the resort manager had gone to town to buy supplies. The transfer only proceeded after I complained to the service manager. Shouldn’t the boat came earlier if u need to buy supplies?? 2. Upon arrival at the resort, we had to wait again for check-in, even though ours was the only boat arriving and there were only four rooms to be checked in. 3. Dinner was scheduled from 7-8 PM. When we arrived at the café at around 7:30 PM, only rice and chicken were left. The vegetables and prawns had already run out. When I requested a fried egg as a replacement, I was offered clams instead. It should’t be an excuse if other customers took too much food or we came late. 7.30pm is not late. You shd manage the food serving, it was not ur 1st week of business. 4. Breakfast was scheduled from 7-8AM. We arrived at 7:20 AM, but breakfast was not ready yet. Once the food was served, guests had to queue (this is fine) but by the time it was our turn, the eggs and chicken were already finished. I had to personally knock the kitchen to inform before the food was replenished. 5. Trip.com stated that check-out time was 11:00 AM, but the front desk informed us that check-out was at 10:00 AM. Only after I pointed out the booking details was I allowed to check out at 11:00 AM. Belief they wants more ample time to tidy up the rooms at the cost of the customers. Other area that improve:- 1. When I contacted the receptionist via WhatsApp regarding a booking modification, the responses were not particularly friendly or accommodating. A more customer-oriented approach would greatly improve the guest experience. 2. The receptionist’s appearance and presentation did not seem professional. Throughout my stay, she was dressed very casually, resembling sleepwear, and I initially assumed she was part of the housekeeping team rather than the front desk staff. Overall, the resort has great potential due to its beautiful setting, cleanliness, and affordability. With improvements in service standards, communication, and guest management, it could provide a much better experience for visitors.

The hotel facilities are outdated, and the hygiene is just average. The soundproofing is particularly bad; when I checked in, it sounded like people arguing next door were right in my ear. Every morning around 7:30 AM, I'd be woken up, and you could clearly hear people talking in the hallway. There were no towels or a hairdryer initially, but they were quickly brought up after I asked. I also reported that the pillowcases weren't clean, and they replaced them. The service attitude was very good, though. A big plus is the free self-service laundry room with LG washer-dryers, but they take a very long time, making it hard to wait. Overall, paying nearly 500 RMB during the off-season wasn't worth it; it felt more like a 100 RMB standard in China. The breakfast selection was limited, and the plain congee was too salty. Hope they can improve these things.
